At first this place was fun until I realized that EVERYONE there does drugs. They do drugs and want to start fist fights. Plenty of other fun little places. Skip this one.

Nice place live music is good. I just stopped by for one drink. If you are a smoker it is great!

My wife and I have been going to Starlite for about 5 years. It was our preferred neighborhood hangout spot. Over the past few months there has been a new bartender that is extremely rude and condescending. Not sure what her name is but she is an older lady (maybe late 50s to mid 60s and has short hair. Her name might be Joy but not 100% sure (it is not Linda or Nancy or the small girl with the southern accent. They are really nice). As soon as we sat she gave us a bad attitude and started insulting me. Other regulars that I talk to have also stopped going there because of her, since she seems to just hang out there even while she is not working and harasses and disrespects other customers. Not sure what her problem is but she should not spread her misery and make the place lose so much business. We will no longer be going there anymore.

Came down to Ft Lauderdale with a bunch of friends for Spring Break a couple days ago. We ended up stopping into this bar on the way to the hotel we got last Wed night and couldn’t have been more disappointed. Karaoke was horrible, the customers around the bar were weird and the entire ambiance was just stale in every way. We were outta there STAT! There’s far better options out there if you are looking to hang out and have a good time with quality people. T. L.

This average hole-in-the-wall is great for a random night with friends and mingling with locals and regulars. I've been there once and plan on showing up occassionally on a whim. There is something mystic about it... must be the lite star dust. Before entering this place, you must first ask yourself: "Are you ready for this?"

Great place jane who is the bartender is very good at what she does very polite and knows her job very well.

Love this place on Saturday nights for karaoke(730pm-1130pm). Friendly crowd and staff

Just an average neighborhood bar until we walked in. Bartender (Tiffany) went out of her way to learn our names, remembered our drinks which we never had to wait on, and even recommended a way to save us money! You could tell most of the other customers knew each other but they where very friendly and we felt at home.

Starlite Rocks! As for the Reviews dissing Joy, made by lousy customers who were "regulars" that annoyed the rdzt of us. As for the "springbrwakers" so sorry that this is a down home dive bar filled with weirdos! Your spoiled nontipping getting way to trashed and obnoxiously trying to dominate a bar with your stupor drunk bs...keep it in your hometown!

Been going to this bar for over 6 years. Went in the other night and was treated horribly by a bartender named Joy. She was absolutely rude and treated us like trash. Will never come back. Way to lose regulars.... not such a good move since the bar is always dead.

Cool bar with pool, darts, and live music. The smoke was unbearable for me though. Had to leave after one drink.
