This was a 40th birthday to remember. Our party was having a great time and service was amazing. Everything was great until this old zombie came up to our bartender and asked us to close our tab because he was weary about an $800 tab not being paid as most of us were on the dance floor. We had zero intention of leaving any time soon. We had to leave early because of a rude act from an old owner who couldn't trust a birthday party to pay. We could of paid twice as much before being "kicked out". Don't come to this establishment and support a business on the outskirts of Mizner that can't hold up to their standard.

The music is OK, but the drinks are WAY overpriced! $11 for Tito's. When I asked for a club soda, it was $3. No refills!! Dedicated drivers don't even get a soda free. Creepy old guy owner said, "It's our policy." My new policy is to stay away from this place.

Ok, just for starters the place needs some serious remodeling, and nothing is as advertised on their website. Friday's music still 70's disco, overpriced drinks ($ 9 for wine advertised at $ 5) and a 60+ crowd. Just a sad, sad place.

Celebrated my wife’s 50th birthday. Overpriced drinks. $8 for a bottle of beer. Female owner extremely creepy, stares at everyone. The topper was being slammed to the ground by a bouncer after for no reason what so ever. Police were called and they are still looking into it. The owners are very rude.

The music was so blah. With all the good music in the 80s and 70s, why play John Cougar Mellencamp 2×, within an hour of each other?? Dance floor was empty, tbh so was the place. Evangelina, the bartender, definitely made up for the DJ though. She saved the night! This place has the potential to be a blast, if they can get the DJ to play better music. If you're looking for good 80s music, reasonably priced drinks and a packed, fun spot go to The Official 80s Disco Club in Dania instead. That place is always a blast!

Band last night was great. Studio 54. Buy bar maids are terrible. Ordered 2 drinks. Sat there waiting for them as I saw the bar maid would take other orders and never served ours. Sat there for 10 minutes waiting. Finally said let's leave. So we went to another bar and spent our money there. Bar bill there 240.

We celebrated a birthday, at Platforms, recently. Our entire group were mid fifties to seventy. We had a terrific night. There were many thirty somethings among the 150 folks. The club hold 300. The club is great fun. It’s a $10.00 cover, no minimum. The drinks are delicious and fairly priced. We had Cokes, juices, cocktails, mocktails, and beers. The bartenders are delightful. Hats off to their bar back; he never stopped moving. The decor is great fun. The music is 70’s, 80’s, and some 90’s. The sound system is outstanding. There’s a disco ball above their lighted dance floor. Here’s the real fun: all the songs are the original Music Videos shown all over the club in glorious SD. Platforms DJ knows how to keep the dance floor moving. He’s very good! We danced a lot. It’s East Boca Raton, between Mizner and Royal Palm Plaza. Open Friday and Saturday 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM As for the four stars: we felt that the restrooms needed more attention. That’s an easy fix. We’re back in two weeks for another event. Cheers Platforms. This place is not good...rude service and not a friendly atmosphere...the drinks are over priced and they try to add on more than you drink...so Disappointing...find some where else to go...

No longer "Platform's" at this location. "Cosmo's" is the name of the new nightclub.

Do yourself a favor, stay away from this place. Bar staff are great even though the drink prices are ridiculous. Female owner literally stalks the place watching everyone. Very creepy!! The security guard attacked a friend of mine for no reason cutting open his head. Police were called but nothing was done. Ruined a special night for all of us.
