they have the best spring rolls, hands down! i had the papaya salad with beef and it was very refreshing, perfect for a summers day. the lemongrass chicken was really good too, and their iced coffee rocks! i’d definitely come back here again!

Out of all 20+ Pho places that I’ve eaten at through the US, this place was hands down the best! Broth was super rich and fragrant! Very good meat portion in the combination Pho. No need to douse soy sauce or fish sauce in it to give it flavor. Very happy to have eaten here! 5 stars for sure!!!

Our experience was simply fantastic. The waitress was very informative, giving great descriptions of the items on the menu. The food was placed in front of us in a timely manner. They were attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. The white crispy puffs they give you when you sit down were absolutely wonderful. The food was fresh and hot, with a taste that will make your tongue slap you in the brains. We been here vacationing all week and visited on our last day, wow I wished we would have stopped in sooner. It’s time to head back to NC. We will be back and we highly recommend this restaurant.

In the area for dinner and stopped in. No wait time and grabbed a table outside. Quickly greeted with menus and utensils. I ordered the Pho beef and was served within a minimal amount of time. The soup is a large portion with an abundance of sprouts on the side and extra greens. The broth is very light with plenty of flavor. The noodles are thin complimented with thin cuts of beef that are easy to chew. The servers were very attentive checking up on a regular basis. Although is relatively close to the Beach side restaurants and bars, it doesn’t have bothersome crowds around it making it a pleasant to sit outside and enjoy the summer sun. The price is very reasonable and a great place to dine if your in the area. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very pleasant lunch. We walked in with no wait around 2pm. Greeted immediately by Quinn and was able to pick out any table. We sat right by the front window and was brought over plates, menus and waters promptly. Few orders Shrimp Spring Rolls and Pho. No complaints on anything everything tasted wonderful, delivered quickly and waitress was very attentive. I will definitely be back and would recommend to others.

I’m Vietnamese and I don’t think their food is good Bun Bo Hue is way too oily! Just look at the pictures and tell me if it’s fair. The topping is poor Everything else is mediocre. Staff is slow in serving even though it was not crowded that time I think if you want to try better vietnamese food, there are other options in town. This restaurant has good location, right by the beach

The experience and food was ok. I decided to give this place a try due to the yummy looking pics others posted. No greeting, no smile when I walked especially, as a first timer. The service of the host was slow. Food came out in a decent amount of time. Unfortunately, I was not impressed overall. The broth of the beef pho was lacking, I've had tastier with more depth. The fried rice could have been better especially for $18. The spicy lemon grass wings, my partner stated they were pretty good, but not spicy as stated. Was hoping for more, but I've had better.

Food was amazing, the pho broth was spectacular. The spicy lemongrass paste was something that I had never tried before. Will definitely come back when we return to Fort Lauderdale.

BASILIC VIETNAMESE Grill, One (1) block north of Ocean Drive on Commercial Ave, Downtown Lauderdale by the Sea. On site and city parking. Modern contemporary restaurant, with comfortable seating and pleasant decor. Friendly and helpful service. Extensive menu featuring, beers, wine, with traditional Vietnamese dishes and some Basilic specialties. Indoor and Patio dining. Our meals were, timely, and excellent with reasonable pricing. Certainly would return when in Lauderdale by the Sea.

Would have liked more soothing, less loud music. Pop didn't seem right for the atmosphere. Our vegan dish was excellent but would love to see more vegan variety so we could eat here more. Everyone really enjoyed their food!

Great Vietnamese spot a couple blocks from the beach. The food was delicious and the portion sizes generous. Definitely recommend for lunch or dinner if you're in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea.

The Thai Iced Tea is to die for, it is absolutely delicious! Quynh and Frandline are the nicest best severs ever too! I love this place 😁

The ambiance was nice and there is public paid parking nearby. The food was flavorful and delicious. The service was quick and the food came out in a timely manner. The only drawback to this place is that they are constantly checking in to see if you are done.

Food was very good all around our table of four. Service was good as well. We will return. This round was not good. Papaya salad was the only exception to a terrible meal. We had a few stir fry dishes, one with noodles, the other was spicy lemongrass over rice. Lemongrass had burnt wok flavor and some of the chicken was raw. Idk, maybe wok too hot? Tasted really bad.

Had lunch here on Sunday. The waitress was super friendly the only disappointing part was they don’t have their sandwiches anymore! I ordered the grilled shrimp vermicelli and it was very tasty. We also had the imperial chicken rolls which had a great crunch and nice flavor. The bowl itself was also fresh and full of flavor. I will be back to try the pho!

Food is a 7/10 the grilled beef pho was good, but I've definitely had better pho around town. The mint, lime and sprouts are very sparse when they bring ur dish, you just have to keep asking the waiter to bring you more. The summer rolls and peanut sauce was good too.

Excellent Pho with awesome service. Big shout out to "Luke" whose attention to detail and constant hustle was remarkable in every way with all the customers (dine in and take out). Lemongrass wings were juicy and cooked to perfection (I'm from Buffalo and know a good wing), and the Calamari and Shrimp appetizer was delicious. The Pho broth was very tasty and the noodles were a great match. Definitely would recommend without any hesitation at all.

Bun bò huế and phở is well flavored. Cơm chiên is excellent. Great portion for the price. Very worth it in the classy area. Would definitely coming here again.
