GREAT bar for football Sunday and for random nights! I've enjoyed it every time I've come here. The bartenders are great, the wings are solid, and prices are VERY reasonable, especially on half price happy hour on Sunday. The Black Rose has the feel of a dive bar without BEING a dive bar. I totally recommend.

Great place to start or end your evening. Outdoor and indoor bar experience with a mega screen TV outside and live music or DJ inside. Friendly owner and staff, but the drinks tend to be weak. They also host one of the best Halloween parties ever thrown.

Fun little pub in the midst of it all! However I ordered a salad on a very slow night and it took them over an hour. Everyone else at my table was done eating (and some had already left) by the time I received my salad. Unacceptable. The staff was nice but honesty about forgetting to put my order in goes a long way rather than continuing to tell me it will be right out....The new outdoor area is and will continue to be a hit!

The place is somewhat ok. I would have preferred to sit outside on the patio (which is nice) but it was a bit chilly that night. I'll bring up the downside first. I believe there are a few regulars that could be pushing new clientele such as myself away, for example some guy watching a game outside, yelling and flashing his stomach every 2-3 mins. Witnessed 2 fights while I was there (they never got to be physical but they weren't too far). The good side, the prices are not bad, food is decent (not amazing), and the staff was very friendly. It's an ok place to stop by and have a drink but not spend too much time. The feel of the place is more of a dive bar than a bar inside. The furniture seems outdated, bathroom not too clean (understatement), and the place could use a new pool table and equipment. Overall it feels and looks like the place was nice when it opened (whenever that was) and slowly went downhill. I would go back just because of the outside patio.

You know what, in all honesty the service could be better from the bar, you gotta work hard for your alcohol, but man, once you’re in, you’re in. and they are great! The DJ Friday night absolutely killed it, he threw it back to DMX and Jay-Z, shows respect. Absolutely great low key place to drink and be happy. The outside patio is huge, but the bar is inside. Work for it and you’ll be happy!

Went here during my college years. They have a pool table, darts, and videos projected outside for fight nights and movies. Fun spot. Good drink selection. *Would pass out here again 10/10 jk*

Absolutely love this place very friendly staff. They are dog friendly inside the bar/restaurant. The food is incredible, I highly suggest the shepherd's pie, but the "smoked" wings had a lot to be desired. Wings aside it's a great place, good location, decent parking for where they are at, and the atmosphere is good. Good place to go in Boca.

Amazing old school environment and prices! Strangers actually talk to you and everyone, including staff are happy, so go here to cheer up if you're having a tough day at work...especially since happy hour starts at 2pm! You don't really need special pricing, though, because regular pricing is so reasonable. Bar food staples are much better than the simple surroundings might suggest. Try the smoked wings. Even a side Caesar salad was large, super fresh, and something worth talking about.

This place has the best crispy wings! Prices reasonable and drinks good. Highly recommend if you local, we stayed at the Hyatt nearby.. one pool table (wished they had more) but place is decent and walk in distance from hotel..

Black Rose Irish Pub has always been a great place to go. They have awesome events good bands amazing drinks and the staff is very well mannered. It's right in the middle of all the happening spots I would definitely recommend visiting at least for a drink or two.   The atmosphere is nice. I went Sunday before memorial day. Pretty packed. Music was ok..if you're into house ..being outside was the best part !   lovely place and awesome music you just need to know the moves ;)

I am really digging this spot and would recommend it to anyone looking for a new go-to. Awesome outdoor lounge area with projection screen, friendly bouncer at sidewalk entrance is big a plus, especially for girls-night-out (added security). The staff at the bar is always pleasant, friendly, and the entire vibe inside is up-beat. You'll find all walks of life here, music new-age to classic. Definitely returning and bringing more patrons.
