Casareccio means home style, and that's exactly what you're going to get here. I grew up on Sicilian food, and have never had a restaurant meal that tasted so much like home to me. Everything was wonderful! The menu changes frequently, so they have it written on a wall that's a giant chalkboard. The restaurant is small and intimate, and they let you sit and enjoy for as long as you want. Reservations are strongly recommended on weekends and holidays, since they allow (and expect) guests to stay for a bulk of the evening. We were very lucky to get in on New Year's Eve, and it was only because we were there really early at 6pm. I will certainly be back. We had the stuffed artichoke, lobster ravioli, and fettuccini auth shrimp and scallops. I can't wait to try additional items.

I stumbled across this wonderful restaurant while looking through yelp for restaurant ideas. I am so happy I did! This place is definitely a hidden gem - don’t be discouraged by the location or prices, they are so worth it. The food is amazing, fresh, and everything is homemade. The menu changes daily or weekly according to local ingredients. My boyfriend and I had such a great time and Emilia, one of the owners and our waitress, was such a pleasure to talk to. The chef, the other owner, came out as well to check on us. We had the caprese appetizer, which was a fresh ball of burrata over tomato, and shared the veal Parmesan (veal was so tender) with homemade pasta and the cacio e pepe pasta. We also split a bottle of moscato and sampled a red wine that we loved (all imported from Italy). For dessert, my boyfriend got the afoggato and loved it! This dinner and experience made our entire vacation memorable. We will definitely be back when we come back to the area!

The minute you walk in the decor and ambiance feels very authentic and traditional. Everything from the appetizers to the dessert was absolutely delicious you can taste the quality in all of her ingredients from the olive oil to the tomato sauce to the artichoke. Amelia gives the absolute BEST customer service, having a spot of oil in my shirt she brought me baking soda to soak it up. Absolutely 10/10 would recommend. If I come back to Fort Lauderdale I will be back!

Don't let the mini-mall location fool you. This is the real deal, the chef (from Sicily) and his family man the front and back of the house and dish out some of the best pasta you'll find anywhere. The menu changes weekly or even daily and is kept on large chalkboards across one wall. Despite the mini-mall location, the inside is warm and inviting, the service is spectacular. The cacio e pepe is my favorite, not as dry as you may be used to, but you'll want more bread to soak up the sauce. They also do a sausage and mushroom pasta that is a marriage made in heaven. If it's not pasta you're after, the chicken parm is so tender you can cut it with a fork and it almost melts in your mouth. And don't miss the cannoli. The one slight drawback to all the praise is that it is a bit pricey for pasta.

Friends recommended this storefront restaurant with only 6 or 7 tables. Menu changes frequently so it is written on a chalkboard on the wall. Emylene Egusquiza, the wife and who runs the front end and Salvatore Spina, her husband who is the chef are very charming and engaging. Salvatore even comes out of the kitchen to chat. I found out that I used to eat lunch at one of his former restaurant for years. Started with an excellent fresh burrata caprese, prosciutto, and roasted peppers for 4. Also tried their meatballs, just good. For mains, we had the Branzino, 2 ways, sweet & sour, sweet onions and fired bell peppers and Mediterrano, lemon, garlic-oil over spinach, both very good Also ordered 2 side pastas, Linguine Pomodoro fresco, garlic, basil, and tomato sauce. Very family style servings, so don't cringe at the prices. For dessert we tried both the panna cotta & tiramisu, both very good. Limited but reasonable wine list but we brought our own wines and paid the $15 corkage. It was very delightful evening and would highly recommend trying Casareccio.

First timer. Went on FB group recommendation. Would try different dishes next time. Superb service. Small venue. Some guests walked in without masks.

What a great dining experience. First time here. The restaurant is small, only 7 tables, but that's what makes it so great. You get to meet the husband (Sal) and wife (Emilia) who own and run the restaurant single handedly. From the moment you walk in they make you feel like you're a guest in their house, not their restaurant. The menu is small (with 7 tables you can't expect a big menu), but the choices are more than enough to satisfy different palates. The wine list is also small, but the wines are reasonably priced and the barbera we had was very good. We had three starters for the 4 of us: grilled octopus, linguine with white clam sauce and fried burrata all of which were excellent. If you were only having 1 starter go for their specialty, the burrata. For our mains the winner was the branzino which was probably the best I've ever had (don't be afraid to order it with the sweet and sour sauce- it's a Sicilian specialty). Desserts were homemade- amazing connolis- so creamy and delicious-and Italian cheesecake. When dinner was over they didn't rush us out (they don't turn over tables alot). Can't wait to tell our friends and come back. Thanks Emilia and Sal for a wonderful dining experience!!

Incredible atmosphere, family run, and delicious, authentic Italian cuisine. My favorite “date night” spot when you’re craving a hearty meal. The family owners are so personable and truly care about your experience there. Highly recommend!

Visited this restaurant after reading lots of positive reviews and I couldn’t agree more. Very good food and attentive service. What more could one ask for! Ordered the eggplant parm and tiramisu - both were perfect in terms of flavor as well as portion size. Will certainly be back!

What a fantastic place! It feels like home, everyone is so warm and welcoming. There are only a couple tables so call for a reservation on the weekend. Food is fresh and prepared daily so menu changes daily. So good we went back twice!
