I am a native Boca Raton woman and I have never seen this place open. My fiance wanted to do this as part of our anniversary day (we attempted to visit 3 years ago on a weekend for our second date) so we tried again for the first time this year. We drove here after visiting the Historical Society and Museum. We assumed the Train Museum would have the same operating hours as there was no indication otherwise and the web page lists the hours for the other museum at the bottom of the train tour page. We thought the tour was an additional feature but I guess you have to RSVP to a tour to even get inside the main building? The season is short and they only offer 7 days a year. 2018 season has already passed by. Also, these 7 days are during the week so forget it if you are a typical M-F 8-5pm worker. Add some weekend hours in, post something in the parking lot when people pull in confused, make it more appealing for us to even visit.

Very interesting, historical. According to museum staff, the former Depot is scheduled for a restoration, will make this attraction a five star destination.

The trains were really cool. We went Tuesday around 5 and nobody was home, but still awesome to see these things up close. They had a lounge car up front and it was something out of a time machine, wish I could've gone inside. The main building looks like the Alamo, there were restrooms but everything was closed. I do not know if this place is still operational, but look at ths trains whenever you can.

Place was closed but able to view 2 trains outside. My son loved it. Can't wait for them to reopen to view inside.

Great historical place to go to learn about the history of the boca train museum. The interactive tour inside of the train reenacting the experience is very original and is a must do if you have kids or are taking students on a field trip. I would highly recommend this place for elementary students to go on a field trip.

Nothing there. Doors to rail cars locked despite the power on and airconditioning running. Old station is now a meeting space and not used in any historical context. One information sign tells the only history available to be learned. Clearly the city doesn't care about this site as any relevance to its past.

Not sure this is open anymore. We stopped today, but drive by several days a week. Never see anyone here and no operating hours sign. My grandson loved climbing on the train.

Closed, seems to be in renovations process.... or not opened anymore, nothing mentioned at the door. If we are talking about the trains....only 3 very old trains that we can not visit because the installations is actually closed.

No signs anywhere, train sounded on but no indication of where to go or who to speak to. Called and no answer either.
