Went to the park thinking it was open to the public but in fact it is only available to sign up and pay a fee. I understand that people need to register their dogs so that they have their vaccines and their license but the service should be provided at a minimal fee not at $5 per every time they enter or $60 per year if you're a resident. It should be free for those that pay taxes to the city of Pompano.

This park is not free to enter. You must pay a yearly or monthly fee for its use. The people and dogs were great though. The park was well kept. Overall a good experience. I think they would benefit from a free trial period though. So people can go check it out and see if they want to pay for the fee.

Attention, neighbors! I want to share with all of you an unfortunate experience I had on May 24, 2023, at the dog park in Pompano Beach. As usual, I took my adorable dog for an afternoon walk. However, when I returned to the parking lot, I was met with a devastating scene: my car had been broken into and the window was shattered. Someone had taken advantage of the opportunity to steal my purse, which contained valuable items such as my wallet, keys, and my new iPhone, among other things. It's important to note that my car has very dark tinted windows, making it difficult to see the inside from the outside. I firmly believe that the person who committed the robbery may have observed me when I hid my purse behind the passenger seat. It seems they waited until I was inside the park to carry out their criminal act. Immediately, I took the necessary steps to protect myself by canceling my bank cards. Fortunately, the thieves were unable to withdraw money from most of the places where they attempted to use my cards, except for one gas station. However, what impacts me the most is that no one in the area witnessed the incident or showed any empathy towards my situation. I want to take this opportunity to remind everyone of the importance of staying alert and safeguarding our valuables at all times. No matter how secure a place may seem, there are always unscrupulous individuals lurking around. Furthermore, I urge everyone to report any suspicious activity to the local authorities. Community collaboration is crucial to maintaining our safety. In my case, I immediately called the police and filed a theft report. I sincerely hope they can solve this case and bring the culprits to justice. Let's continue working together to create a safe and supportive community. If we all stay vigilant and support each other, we can better prevent and confront these unpleasant situations. Let's look out for one another and keep our neighborhood secure! Sincerely, please stay vigilant to prevent such unpleasant incidents from happening again. Victoria (I clarify my score is 3 stars because of the dangerousness of the place, and the little surveillance, however the park is fine and pleasant for our dogs)

Closed Tues. for maintenance. I come here often and I don't have any major complaints. I think the annual fee is a positive thing, unlike all of the poor reviewers. I spoke with the city regarding some improvements (for example the leaking water supplies causing mud puddles), and I was told it will be looked into and if no progress is made to contact the person in charge of maintenance. There are sometimes bad owners that insist their dogs are angels, despite them being unruly or rough. Every so often there are actual fights and bites, but all of these things happen at the several dog parks I've frequented.

$60 a year for a maintained dog park. The dogs have two parks, one side is open at a time. There are poop stations, lots of water and hose off stations. My dog LOVES it.

NOT PUBLIC PLACE. 30USD Annual fee and ton of paper work. Looks like it place for local snobs and land lord for chill. People without dogs just sitting there… My dog left message for owner’s near entrance. Enjoy. If owners make a payment entrance for 1 visit it will be great…

Now I have to pay for a dog park? Why? Oh, I get it. this is another way to keeping certain people out. Well, things happen for a reason. luckily the harbors Edge Park is much better than this one.

this is a great park. It has water fountains. It has water fountains for the dogs I mean to say not for people there are benches for people. Lots of green grass that's well-maintained every Tuesday the park is closed for landscaping there are beautiful trees and double airlock southgate's been between the different pens there are three different sections one for big dogs and one for small dogs and one seems to be a reserve back up that switches back and forth for the big dogs. anyway come out and have a good time you're likely to find a crowd at around 8 to 9 in the morning and between 7 and 8 in the evening you have to get a pass (but the gate sometimes is broken and you can sneak in).

Big and Small dogs areas. Located next to the Golf course and Gallupis restraunt. Park is well maintained, but you do need a pass from city. It's about $35/year for residents. You can get the pass at the nearby community pool in the park on the south side of 10th St. Dogs and people are generally well behaved, but there are sometimes incidents of somewhat aggressive dogs. I always blame the owners. There are sometimes a park rangers there near the entrance.

Love how well maintained this park is! It's safer due to having to be registered to get in and I love that for me and my dog!

First time we took our dog and he had a blast. Highly recommend. You have to pay a user fee. Only $30/yr. Go online for the paperwork. Bring required paperwork and proof to the aquatic center by the lap pool. They take checks and credit.

Great fenced place for your doggies to play! Separated areas for small and big dogs. It closes on Tuesdays for maintenance. I take my doggie there 3-4 times a week! He loves it :)

Sooo much mud!!!! We are in the park for the big dogs, but they claim they are fixing the big park. All fine and good, but do something to this side to cover the mud. Especially, since you charge us to come to this park. Funny how the park for the little dogs has no mud, it has shade and benches. Pompano Beach it’s time to step up. There is also, a opening in the gate where the dogs can get out. #pompanobeachcityofficials

Everything is lovely about this park… all BUT the gate facing the entrance street on large dog side has gaps so large my 47 pound poodle mix could jam himself out that way 😅
