Lots of homeless there, they are harmless, it's good to take a dozen sandwiches and bottle water for them, everyone should love their neighbor as themselves

The place is very small and quaint but unfortunatly there are alot of drug addicts that will sit there throughout the day so i do not reccomend bringing children there but it is a nice little walk.

Great place to eat in the shade Friendly people with great information of the local area of Pompano beach. One of the most cherished memory I have is from my trip to McNabb park where I met the most kind hearted homeless individual by the name of Laura Devidian probably miss spelled her last name because she showed me how great people could be no matter the situation or circumstances that one's under

Beautiful parkโ€ฆ when the homeless arenโ€™t there. And unfortunately they are there all day until dark, so not such a beautiful park. When I go to play basketball I often like to imagine there is a crowd sitting, watching me from the sidelines. Though unfortunately they are just the crackheads. I was playing basketball with my brother one night and an insanely high woman was yanking the door handle of my car in an attempt to break in. I run over yelling at her to leave, and she tells me to shut up. The cops come, and while the lady is yelling at the police, the police tell me the park is closed and I can no longer play there. PRETTY PATHETIC IF YOU ASK ME. ACTUALLY MADE ME LAUGH. The photo is current and taken right before I go and play basketball in front of my new fans

This park is not for children to play in. Itโ€™s not for you to go play tennis in the tennis court. Itโ€™s not for you to go play basketball on the basketball court they have. Because it is filled with homeless people drinking and getting high. Itโ€™s a city park that our taxes pay for and we can not use it. Itโ€™s also a scary bunch of people. The same ones everyday. Lawn chairs and bags of things everywhere. People so high they are stumbling into traffic. They walk around line ZOMBIES!!!! Not acceptable Pompano Beach! Your doing all this building and beautification to the area, but you are not fixing this problem. Itโ€™s going to drive people to move out of Pompano Beach. This city needs to do something now! Enough is enough!!!! Read these reviews!!! They are saying the same things about homeless and druggies 3 years ago!!!

This park is taken by a homeless community. Although my teenager is almost an adult I was not comfortable leaving him here to play Basketball alone.

Not a bad Park if your homeless ๐Ÿ˜‚. Seriously, it is a nice park with basketball courts, Handball Court and tennis Courts. It's okay to take your kids here. Normally no drama.

We turned around and left immediately. The park was gorgeous and shaded, but unfortunately it was littered with used syringes. No thanks!

Took the grandkids to play basketball and hang out at the playground. Been going here for 30 years back with my daughter when she was my grandkids age.

Disgusting open air homeless shelter. Garbage everywhere. Go to Alsdorf park instead.

Fairly nice park. Itโ€™s kept clean but the only downside is the amount of homeless people who call this place home. Itโ€™s a nice park to walk your dog, play tennis or basketball. If you bring your kids to the playground please keep an eye on them because the people who hang around here are highly questionable.

Park is for the most part fairly nice... However , you have to try and do your thing while all the homeless people wander about.. It makes me feel sad therefore stealing some of my enjoyment

Its an ok little park but the homeless have made it there home so i make my kids keep there shoes on and i pick up trash everytime we go. Its drunk n junkies so who knows whats all in the sand the playgrounds on so it makes me nervous. But if your just tryna go there to play its good but not the place to just be hanging out. The events held here always turn out great!! Esp the Christmas tree lighting
