Whoever took over the mountain bike trails has ratcheted this place up considerably . I stopped going a couple years back since after a hurricane years ago, they totally wrecked the trails. Now I've been 3 times in one week. Worth a trip. Hope they keep up the work , we need somewhere closer than Key Biscayne or Markham

Visited this park on May, 2022. Big park, with several different sections. There is a water ski area where they pull the skiers with ropes. I didn’t ask the rates. There is a camping area with “pre-built” camps. There is also a little water park for small children. The only thing that bothered me is that the grass and landscaping aren’t too well-kept as many other parks I have been to. It feels a bit wild there. It needs some tidying up. Some of the people in the camping grounds seemed a bit sketchy.

My purpose for visiting Quiet Waters Park was for the Splash Park located there. It was an awesome experience as a parent, as well as for my 5 year old. I was able to relax and be at ease that even though water is involved, he was safe. There were life guards present making sure safety rules are being enforced to prevent injuries and drownings. Its gated, food is sold and everything you need in close proximity of the little ones, all while watching them play in the water.

I have been coming to this park since 1997 with family & friends. I've seen it grow into such an amazing place. From paddle boats, dog park, Frisbee golf, kids water park, play grounds, skiing, bbqing, camping & especially the Renfest!!! I go every year if opened. This place never disappoints.

We came here for the renaissance festival and to go fishing and we caught some bass and some sun fish I believe. On the weekends its only 1.50 a person to get in and during the week I believe its free. Definitely a nice spot to just chill and fish and grill

We checked in early afternoon as the day was hot yet beautiful like magma cascading out of a volcano. My friends and I were greeted by a tepee decorated that had a view of a glistening lake surrounded by fauna and critters of the land. We started by hotboxing like our ancestors would, listening to music, sharing stories of our past with our souls intertwined, and time-warped with the rhythm of Mother Nature. At a certain point, we wandered into the bush around us getting engulfed in the trees and various plants. Flowers with the colors of pastel and spiders a little too big for comfort were bewildering. Rain fell with grace, thunder rumbled, and lightning cracked. The spiritual connection with this strange land struck my soul and being. Somehow we found our way back to the campgrounds welcomed by snacks, water, and a warm dry place to lay our heads. The sun grew weary, colors painted the sky and I watched it go to sleep in bliss, watching through the shelter opening. Night fell. It was quiet. There was a rustle in the bushes as a dark beast-like shadow appeared. As my eyes adjusted I saw it was a feisty little raccoon. It approached fearlessly with his opposable thumbs and careless demeanor. I try to thwart it off however it was relentless, coming back again and again for another chance to scavenge. Eventually, he saw there was no chance to get his feast, not yet at least, so he went off into the night for an easier way of nourishment. When it was time to leave, I was comforted knowing that I will forever remember this experience and the part of the forest embedded in my heart.

Camping at Quiet waters park on a beautiful lake. The weather was cool and nice. There are 2 outlets outside of the tent for lights. Bring plenty of lights. Our neighbor hung Christmas lights on their tent which was a great idea. Each site has a grill, fire ring and picnic tables.

Great trails, even after a lot of rain! There are more rocky trails throughout the 9 mile course, but there are at least one or two trails that have smooth berms. Good to know that the trails hold up after lots of rain, probably because of all the ponds nearby that the water can drain to. You’ll get water views, but also the turnpike. Much narrower trails than Camp Murphy at JD, take it easy if you’re not familiar or you’ll end up in the drink or hitting a bolder jetting out on the trail!

We went for a bike ride, my friends and I. The staff at the office were friendly and helpful. The video you have to watch isn't exactly audible but it gets the message across. Helmets are required, gloves recommended. Also don't forget some sunscreen. The warm up trail is pretty sandy, be careful. The actual trails, even the novice stuff is borderline novice but doable. The signage is all pretty new but you can still get confused if you aren't paying attention. Overall a great experience but be prepared to sweat!

Went here for Renaissance Festival. Wonderful, everybody do your own thing- all get along experience! Just people watching is a big part of the experience. It's not just the Knights jousting- be sure to check out the Mud Show, & the Pirates, many professional level costumed actors. Best pickles ever from the pickle man! All the fair food you would want, & Mead! Plenty of parking- hire a rickshaw to get back to your car! Great fun!

Cool place for camping. They even have 2 teepees (not available during the hurricane season.) Although, I will advise if it is going to rain, renting a yurt is a better option.

I have always been very impressed with this park. Always clean with great walking and bike trails. I recently rented a pavillion and was pleasantly surprised that the park staff came by every hour to change our garbage which is unheard of in other nearby parks. Will definitely book here again.

I have cone here for years. The standing tent campsites have been an excellent starting point for many new campers and the serene atmosphere and ideal location make the experience easy and fun. Their other activities are also delightful. I particularly enjoy the wakeboarding and the open plaza areas. Overall, an excellent place to spend a free day outdoors.

If you Love mountain biking this place will be one of your favorite parks. The park have different skills lines for everyone, so don't worry about it if you think you are not so good in your bike. You're going to ride right next to the lake and around, you will test your jump skill in some parts. And if you want you can come with your family and use the playground while you are in riding your bike. You can try the cable skiing too, this is so much fun!!!!

Love the Renaissance Festival at this park. It is an amazing set up, a place where you can go back into history. Lots of shows, great music, especially the medieval Celtic bands and food + plenty of beer. But above all, you would be fascinated with the customs,it's our second halloween! Great environment, friendly staff, plenty of parking but make sure you arrive early to enjoy it the whole day!

We simply love this place. The entrance is $5/person, it has a beach volleyball court, several picnic tables, and a small food court. Our family enjoys going there every single time. It is a perfect place to have a birthday party. The pool has beach entrance from all sides and the deepest part is maybe at 2 feet; therefore, it is perfectly safe for families with toddlers.

Quiet Waters Park is a 430-acre Broward County Park in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Quiet Waters Park is known locally for its annual Renaissance Festival and Ski Rixen cable water-skiing system. Ski Rixen is one of 79 cable water-ski attractions in the world, and the only wakeboard and water ski resort in South Florida.

Way too many hoops to jump through to mountain bike here. You have to go to some park office which keeps bankers hours. Tried to go here on my weekend to find a car show has completely took over the park. I even checked the schedule ahead of time and the description of this was "Car show.", no mention of it taking over everything.

Use to be a great park. Whoever is in charge is doing a terrible job. I walk there in the morning and people park their cars wherever they want. They park on the grass in front of disc golf holes, park in the walking path as well as drive in the walking path, park almost in the pavilions when there is a parking lot 20 yards away. Basically they park everywhere and anywhere except in parking spots. Why even have them. Workers drive by and do not enforce anything so really it’s not the people’s fault. I notice more garbage on the grass. The other day I saw people walking through the mountain bike trails. How dangerous is that. Other parks in the county do enforce the rules and people follow them. It’s that simple. I’m for hire quiet waters if you want me to straighten the place out as that is what you need. More accountability usually works.

Some really enjoyable mountain biking. The trail builders are as dedicated and committed as they come. A great ride. A great workout. You'll certainly be challenged.

This is a very nice park. My granddaughter had her graduation there. The pavilion was very clean. No riffraff was at the park. People were nice and this was my first time at the park. I recommend this place for a gathering or just relaxing.

  • 5/5 Kyle W. 1 year ago on Google
Went for the Renaissance fair and was definitely the best in Florida. The park was very large. Looked like there was a cable park for wakeboard and mountain bike trails. I'll have to return again to explore.

  • 5/5 Waldo L. 1 year ago on Google
This park has a nice paved bike trail and non paved shorter trails. There’s a part of the park that’s closed which leads to more unpaved bike trails. Their water park is seasonal unfortunately. They have an RV park which seems nice. A dog area that looks fun for animals. And a great playground with sunshade.

  • 5/5 MD H. 2 years ago on Google
This is a great park, quite large with a variety of fun things to do. Check out the water skiers doing their thing, lots of private areas to picnic or grille, a nice children's playground, bike trails, shady retreat areas, a long Frisbee/golf track that's pretty popular, lake areas to walk, doggie park and more. It's a gem of a park.

I'm disappointed, the dog wet water park is not running water and you have to buy a season pass of over $25 to visit it even once !!!!! The dog area part of the park seems closed to picnickers because of the bright lime colored cones blocking the picnic areas access. I tried to picnic there anyhow and had to leave my dog in the shaded car with all 5 windows open 100 % and a battery operated fan on. But if course, when I tried to sit at the picnic table, I was overrun and bitten by black and red ants. Its only use seems to be the frisbee golf, the ski rixen ( a ski pulley suspended over the water, now with jumps ), or bike riding. Someday they will realize the park is kinda about people visiting and enjoying nature, not loud lawnmowers, or baracading picnic tables, or the simplicity of the park ruined. Hopefully only a temporary BUMMER !! And there are NO BATHROOMS OPEN !!!!

  • 5/5 Antonis T. 3 years ago on Google
Very well organized and clean! There are plenty of picnic tables throughout the park. You can easily find a quiet spot to relax with friends or family. The staff is always not intrusive and helpful if needed. There is a covid testing site out of the way so it doesn't interfere with activities like walking or jogging on the nice paths. There is plenty of parking and shade.

As a Realtor, I hope to never work with Landmark Title again. The service and Integrity was poor from the start until the very end. No communication from anyone including the attorney. I and another Realtor represented the seller. The buyer's lender suggested they use this title company. The buyers Realtor as well felt the same way. If I could give them Zero Stars I would.
