We absolutely loved this splash pad! The views are stunning, and the design is simply beautiful. 😍 The park offers a perfect haven for kids aged 10 and under, providing them with endless hours of fun and excitement. 💦🎉 It's the ideal spot to cool off and take a refreshing break from the Florida heat. However, one thing to keep in mind is that parking is not free, which is somewhat unusual for most kids' playgrounds. But don't worry, there's a solution! What kid does not love a water splash area? Especially in this heat, it’s a perfect way to let the kids splash around and have fun and cool off all at the same time. It’s a terrific place to bring your kids or just go relax and watch the boats go by on the Intercoastal. Super safe for the kids, they even have age-appropriate areas which is something I’ve never seen before. No, you can’t bring your dogs, but there are plenty of places that you can do that. It’s very clean, there’s even a handwashing station, and a place to grab something to eat if you want to spend some time there and not have to bring your own food. Bathrooms are super clean! AND…It feels so safe there as well. No weirdos or creepy crawlies walking around.

Its a nice family park with boat ramps, 2 park areas for the kids, and a ferry boat that takes you to Deerfield Island Park and is wheelchair accessible, but during high tide only. Its also a good spot for fishing. Fair warning for people with little ones, there is a splash pad, so dress appropriately. Restrooms on premises as well.

Very cool park. There are two play areas, one appeared for the younger children. They're both atypical and seem to focus on climbing. I think if a kid is into parkour they'll enjoy the play area. There's also dock area, a splash pad, minor walking trails and stairs to the bridge allowing one to cross to a1A. I noticed payment was required for parking via a small grey kiosk where you put your tag info in. Things will be really nice when the construction in the South side of the bridge is completed.

If you're a Deerfield Beach resident this is the nicest and newest small family park that is located right before the bridge to the ocean. The whole park was remodeled a few years ago and they have added a nice splash pad and play area for lil kids, benches and boat docks. W elove coming here!😁

Love this place. 2 hours parking is free, each of the two playgrounds are gated, and the water pad is great for all ages. A plus is the option to take the free boat to the island accros the park: 5 min in the boat, 30 min walk on the island and 5 min back. My family had a great time at Sullivan Park every single time. For us, this place is an One-Day-Advanture. :)

Nice little park to go paddle boarding.... Ramp makes easy access to park & carry board. Maintained nicely & beautiful mosaic fountain in the middle. Great for anyone wanting to cool off & enjoy the water fun.

This sweet little park is tucked away almost under the drawbridge and easy to either overlook or escape to, depending on your vantage point. The two playgrounds are great for kids, and the toddlers seemed to love the splash pad. My son found two coconuts floating in the waterway, so we opened them for some fresh coconut. One was sprouting already, so when we opened it we learned how the inside of the coconut transforms for rooting. Watching the boats go by is relaxing. I'm sure it gets busy several times a week throughout the year, but visiting in the middle of a December week day made it seem really peaceful.

Took my nephew and nieces here!! They absolutely loved it! The park was amazing!! I wish we lived in Florida so I could take my nephew and nieces there all the time!!

Fun splash park for kids. It has lots of seating for adults and a lot of it is in the shade which is good. It has bathrooms also. And it's right on the intercoastal so you get to see beautiful views of the boats going by. You need to pay for parking or they ticket you. There are no food concessions there buy picnic tables if you bring your own food.

It is a great place to walk around. I take a lunch there to eat under the Gazebo that has a lot of picnic tables.

  • 5/5 Zein F. 9 months ago on Google
Clean and the playground sets looks new. The splash pad was great! There are large modern design wood picnic benches that can seat almost 8 people per bench. It's covered as well. The park is right next to the inlet dothe scenery is very enjoyably relaxing.

Beautiful park right before you get to the intercoastal. Lots of iguanas everywhere and there was a splash pad for the kids. I liked how they have the playground area secured with a gate but you have to be careful because you can walk right into the water.

  • 5/5 CJ 11 months ago on Google
My kid’s favorite place. You can find a lot of iguanas here

Fun park for familes. A couple playgrounds and a splash pad for hot days. Nice area along a waterway. Bathrooms could have been better attened.

Definitely our favorite park. We love the splash pad, the toddler playground and there’s a restaurant just a few steps away. The kids also love to watch the boats go by. Great spot!!

Great quiet park for kids to play. Great water fountain for kids to play in. Best park I've been to in a long time. Clean bathrooms and spectacular view of waterway for watching all the boats. Especially on Saturday and Sunday when weather is nice.

Before the pandemic Sullivan park was one of our favorite playgrounds to play at. Now during the pandemic we still love to come here even if it is just for a walk or picnic by the intercostal. We love it so much. It is clean and well planned.

  • 5/5 Scott A. 5 years ago on Google
Nice park lots of parking, public bathrooms that are very clean. the parking meters were not working while I was there so I don't know how much it is to pay to park. And has a splash pad and two different playground for kids. Looks like a decent place to fish and watch boats go under the drawbridge.

  • 4/5 Kyle M. 3 years ago on Google
Its a nice little park minus the rats. You can sit on a bench and watch boats come in and out of the intercoastal. Things you can't do: Fish swim bike whatever else that was fun besides taking your date out to watch the boats

It is a nice hidden park. If you come on weekends between 9 am-5pm you can take the water shuttle to Island Park across. This park has fenced playgrounds, nice picnic area, great wet area and fascinating view. Compare to other parks it is not green enough but it still deserves 5 star rating.

Park is lovely. Some fishing areas and boat docks. Children playing in the parks. Two sections setup for the kids. Well maintained park. Clean bathrooms. Nice fountain for the kids to play in and a privately run Freedom boating rental location. Quick walk to the The Cove shopping center and beach. Great spot for lunch, picnics, reading and a nap! Keep it clean! Paddle boat launch.

  • 5/5 J C. 3 years ago on Google
The section I wanted to walk was closed for construction, but I'm still giving it a 5 because it was an amazing walk and I've how they included the work out stations. I'll definitely visit again next time I'm in Florida.

Nice and clean place near to intercostal, public restrooms available. Unlike other parks in Deerfield this one remains in good maintenance condition and it appears not to be another homeless and drug addicts sanctuary.
