We absolutely love windmill dog park! We are not Coconut Creek residence so we pay the $70 registration fee but we think it is completely worth it! We have peace of mind that all dogs are up to date on their shots and their is always a park ranger on the premises. The parks are beautiful, the most well maintained and shadiest dog park we’ve been able to find on the south Florida area. The large dog side has a ton of trees which provide amazing shade and the small dog side is pretty large (it almost feels larger than the large dog side). There is agility equipment on both sides which is fun if there aren’t any other dogs to play with. There are restrooms right outside the fence which is an amenity not found at most dog parks. There is also a shower stall in both the large and small side to hose your dog off which is nice on a hot day. We highly recommend this park to anyone who has a pup that loves to run and play with others!

Great place for kids, big playground, basketball courts, 4 tennis courts, 2 beach volleyball with showers, 4 outdoor racquetball and 1 handball, a big dog park (to use the dog park you hace too fill an application, please see one of the photos that i upload). For me this one is a top ten Broward park, it have it all to enjoy a great day. Bring snacks and have one great day!!!! And did i mention is brand new? Well yes, come and enjoy.....

Need a card to get in- don’t go unless you are a member- apparently you need to pay a yearly fee. Wish I had know this BEFORE I drove 20 min with my pup. So much for taxes we already pay!

Nice place to sit and picnic in the shade of the trees with the sun peeking through.

Great place to go and enjoy any number of activities. Loved seeing all the dogs playing and romping around in their areas. This is so much more than a dog park though. Walking/jogging/bicycling paths, workout stations, tennis and basketball courts and plenty of areas to sit and just take it all in.

You actually have to join the club and pay money to use this public park. Built with tax money?

This place is really nice but it's complicated to get your dog a membership. It's a pretty big deterrent when you have to run through hoops to take your dog to a park

Great park for walking, having a picnic, and there are two fenced-in areas for small and large dogs. And if you play PoGo, there are plenty of stops and gyms.

Well you drive a long way to go to this park and it doesn’t say anything on the initial search engine that this is a private dog park. It looks very nice but it’s unfortunate they never mention it until you get to the park and realize you can’t get in.

Great kids playground. The dog park looks very nice aswell. A bit overpriced for membership if you're not a resident of coconut creek. But it's my daughter's favorite park. She never wants to leave. It's clean, well kept, there is security that patrols as well. Very nice park.

Lots of shade and benches. Great space for dogs

  • 1/5 Jesse A. 1 year ago on Google
I do not understand why in the world do you people like this park??? This dog park is a complete WASTE of $80 cause there is NO service, NO rules and NO protection for your dog or you.!!!!! If they're not going to have a ranger that knows anything about dogs. The least they could do is have a ranger that knows the difference between right and wrong!!!!! Or anyone that works there that knows the difference between right and wrong!!!!! This place is worse then a free dog.! HOW in the world is this a paid park????? Why are there no negative stars for just how DISGUSTING these people are!

Fantastic dog park. You need a membership to bring your dog in. They did a really nice job on this park. Lots of benches , clean, they keep the maintenance up. Lots of shade and cover in case it rains.

I’ve gone with my dog friends who pay for the subscription. Park is SUPER clean and well kept but a few people don’t take care of their pets. Every time I’ve gone there have been dogs trying to mount on mine or on tables. Other than that very clean and big! When the sun begins to go down be prepared for lots of mosquitos!!!

nice to have a place to take my 2 gsp's. it is well maintained, well shaded and you have to register along with showing shot records so I feel safe bringing my babies to play. it is their favorite thing to do.

  • 5/5 Jaime D. 11 months ago on Google
Nice shaded area with separate areas for smaller and larger dogs. Amenities at the park extend beyond those for our four-legged friends, and include tennis, basketball, pickelball, handball, and walking paths. A very nice park

I love this place. I take my dogs to the dog park and the trees provide some lovely shade and there's benches to sit on and the grass is nice for them to run around. It's really a well cared for location.

Beautiful park to have picnic. There is a tennis court, basketball court and a volleyball court. There is a dork pack and a lake that you can do fishing. The park is close to restaurants and shopping centre. They have alot of mango trees too. I would definately recommend for family fun, friends, solo or intimacy.

It seems very unfair to me that the park closes at 5:30 in the afternoon when in midsummer it gets dark late and the The heat is unbearable and many people wait for the heat goes down so they can take their dogs for a walk. In addition, many of us arrived from work after the 6 o'clock

We aren't welcomed here. Definitely a micro aggression towards people who are low-income. Who can't afford a seventy dollar registration fee to be able to go to a dog park for what it would be like thirty minutes at max.

Nice space and most of the people and dogs are great. Wish they would mow the lawn more often and on the specified day (Tuesday)
