Nice park. Generally clean and safe. They completely renovated the toddler section, however it really needs a shade structure over it to keep the equipment from getting hot and damaged from the sun. Wish they renovated the side for the older kids. It's showing it's age.

Very nice park. Great area for kids to play under the trees in the shade. The Pavillion has 3 tables for picnics. Everything closed but walking areas and picnic during pandemic

This park is great. nice spot for you and your family If you don't like crowds. Lots of shaded areas. Gated basketball court. Baseball field an a spot to play football. Nice safe play ground for the kids and and even smaller one for the little ones. I haven't seen any pets out there yet. But it's really in a great community.

Nice little park. It has several football fields ( soccer fields ). Bathrooms are clean and open in day time. 2 types of playground, for 2-4 year old ones and 5-9 years. Small play ground have a gate which locks, so kids dont run away ;) Maybe a bit small parking, but its not anlot of people there. Oh, and basketball courts and maybe tennis court ? I didnt see tennis court. Hm. Maybe its there. It has under roof area for picknics as well. So very nice place. I love it :)

My daughter digs it. Plenty of shade and clean, well more so than the alternatives in the area. There appears to be a Police station that shares the parking lot so it's safe.

I have a toddler and the new relocated park inside the bigger park is perfect. Nicely placed under the natural shade and the newly laid faux grass is soft with a bouncy texture. The chain link is rubberized to minimize exposure to rusty metal and sharp edges. (Some are still there, but the effort is notable). The rest of the facilities are pretty well maintained if not recently renovated. Great park in a great location. The only downside is the awkward and inadequate parking. Hoping the city and engineers have this on their to do list

I was just there this past weekend. I was the babysitter there w/ two children; one of which was lined up and ready for his team baseball photo. I witnessed; with many other parents right there / watching the group and waiting for the lineup, for the photo of the team;... three coaches ridiculing and making fun of one child; in front of his teammates and all the parents. It was horrifying. And it, immediately made me feel sick; after I took one step forward and said "excuse me?" The man to the front of the team had commented how; " he couldn't wait to be able to spank this one particular child, ( and said the child's name) and also commented that; and you're not even my kid!" The second coach to the right of the photo (of the team,) chimed in that he was on board with that too; as they snickered with their private joke; that was not private. And then the third coach; to the left of the photo said an unbelievable comment that related to a health issue that the child has that is behavioral. He said; And, No Ticking! (The child missed the ridicule, because he was smiling and ready for the photo to be taken, and was listening to the photographer's instructions.) It was the most unbelievable thing that I've ever seen; re: adults supervising children and these were coaches. It still makes me sick when I think of it. After the photo; I got to sit in the hot sun, in a little bit of shade, with the other young child and endured the whole baseball game in incredible turmoil. So, I'm never going there again. It was a terrible experience and an absolute disgrace. All three of these "men" were probably bullies in high school.

Nice fields and pickle ball courts, but a bit disappointing on the kids playground. Everything including a rec building was brand new or renovated except the kids play ground and the entry is all the way around the back of the rec building ….

👍 I love to go here and sit by the water it is so relaxing and quiet. The only reason it didn't get five stars is because dogs are not allowed. I so much would love to bring my little dog to sit by the water with me and walk him around. It's a shame that responsible people with bags can't enjoy it wit...
