Two great disc golf courses here! Some of my favorite courses in south Florida. The Tradewinds location is definitely the better of the two as far as clear direction and being well kept, since having just opened in 2019. Prepare to have a few water holes on the primary course, so bring a floater if you’re concerned about losing a disc. Pretty wide open, not traditionally super busy, and a great serene day out in the park.

My favorite park. It is huge! Whether you are into fishing, volley ball, soccer, golf, having a picnic, throwing a frisbee, going for a jog, taking a long walk or visiting Butterfly World, there is something for everyone to do! If you are a nature lover this might be the spot for you. Great place to visit even if you just want to clear your head.

For first timers or out of towners: All T pads well marked. Short Ts are sometimes on pavement with red marked paint. The field shots are mostly open with a tunnel shot and a couple obscured tree shots. NO over the water hazard shots eliminating the concern to retrieve a disc in the water in relation to gators. However, there are four holes that are along the water line. And yes if you have a late release or get no fade - then yes a disc will end up in the drink. $3 to enter the facility but this helps a bit because then you're not concerned with nomadic people or itinerants picking up your disc and leaving with it.

Here for Disc Golf. Great course but I wish there were a lot of "Beware of Flying Discs!" Signs. People picnic and Park right by the baskets and make doing a peaceful Round very rare! Love this course though! One of my all time favorites!

Awesome 18 hole course, some tough spots for beginners near lake and some holes with tree obstacles but pretty fun for any other amateur or pro..there are 2 disc golf courses in this park. This one is called Tradewinds Park Disc Golf and the other one a little more south or deeper into the park is called Tradewoods Disc Golf.

Disc golf course has been updated and reorganized, a much better course in my opinion. Lost a disc on the 16th hole, had a shot hook into the scrub...no luck to be had☹ A fun time, great course for the winter months!

Being an avid hiker and living in Florida it’s hard to find areas in the south with a lot of walking. This place has it all! Big park with disc golf, walking trails and the Butterfly garden. Definitely a good spot to take a Florida “hike” that isn’t a 0.5 mile loop!

We went in to see the lights and take the tour. 26 dollars to see that!??? What a scam... it even bored me and I wanted to get out of there once and for all. There are houses with more Christmas imagination. HORRIBLE AND EXPENSIVE

We had a great time. There were no shelters available but we were able to get a grill with a couple of tables put up a canopy and had a great family BBQ. And It didn't rain.

Weekly golf for novice to pro. Woods has alot of hazards ie: trees and some water. Winds is wide open may be easier for the beginner. 🥏

Huge park. Seemed like a killer disc golf course. Unfortunately the lightning and thunder stopped me from playing the whole course, so can't give much detail. Beautiful and well maintained.

I loved this disc golf course. It's well rounded with something interesting for all skill levels. Plus the butterflies made it a magic experience.

It all depends what you want out of a park. As far as walking and sightseeing it's less than four star. Wildlife is limited. There are a large open areas you want to practice your golf swing and throw a frisbee. The other side of the park is horseback riding. Also (Butterfly world is on the same grounds which is a different experience in itself, but that costs you money to enter)

Love this park. Great disc golf course and another course was just added. The playground is great when it is open. I rented a pavilion for my son's 1st birthday party and it was great.

Trade Winds, where Butterfly World is located, is a wonderful park. The disc golf course is wonderful, some parts of the course through vegetation that reminds you of the original state as part of the Everglades. Nice trails to walk, view of a lake, ample parking at various locations, tables and grills throughout. Butterfly World is a gem! Incredible variety of butterflies and even an opportunity to see chrysalis. Highly recommended!

It's a verry nice park from what we observed. We were there at one of the rented pavillions for an engagement party. It appeared well maintained and clean. It's a nice place for an outdoor party.
