The absolute sweetest teenage boy saw that my son was interested in his basketball. My son asked to see it and after watching my son play with it and absolutely having the time of his life, he gave my son his basketball. I tried not to get all sentimental in front of him (teenagers and emotions tend to be cringy haha) but I wanted to thank him so much. He doesn't know the backstory of how much my son wanted a ball, how we couldn't get one and how he completely made his week and probably his year and renewed my faith in society and the blessings you receive if only you ask. Malcolm and I are super grateful. Talk about a wonderful experience.

Good place, well cared. The pickleball courts are open monday and wednesdays from 5 p.m to 9 p.m, and saturdays from 9 a.m to 12 p.m

The new facility is awesome, just keep on eye on those low life that they destroying the park. Plus there is marijuana everywhere. Some kind of security in the area specifically and the afternoon.

Update Oct 24th Amazing spot for pickleball and much needed courts for the community. Five brand new pickleball courts with ample spacing between courts and vinyl fencing to easily collect stray pickle balls and keep play flowing. They also have ample room behind the baseline for aggressive players who needs the space as well as additional benches for seating. They have an tiered viewing area for first come first serve basis to play. They have parking next the the courts as well as bathrooms on the East side the the facility. This looks promising as they are resurfacing the pickleball courts at Wimberly park and adding lights. The facility is not far from Commercial Blvd in the Warehouse District not for from 1-95. The courts are located on the Southside of the baseball fields and near the Dillon Tennis Center on the Northside of the park. Once they install the nets they will be set for nighttime play.

Great basketball hoops, the basketball court is lit up and open until 10:00 P.M.

Newly renovated park and done in an A1A fashion. From the neatly manicured ball fields, walking paths, concession stand, LED water spouts, and tennis courts. This is a great example of what Oakland Park has to offer!

Great park for kids. My daughter started playing T-ball first, then soccer, back to softball.

This park is fantastic and well kept. The grass is well maintained and the environment is very safe. Every evening has an event going on whether is softball or soccer. I believe that that there are classes offered there for soccer and even baseball. The park stays open relatively late and its very safe area. U can also host a game there if u want.

Great splash pad! Wish it was a little more covered but a lot of the playground is shaded.

Nice facilities. Do not go here to use any field unless you have a permit. They will run you off. We tried practicing softball there and were quick out in minutes. They also kicked out some small children kicking a soccer ball around the outfield.

A nice place to relax... There was a slight breeze and not too humid.

Nice park which features basketball courts, softball/baseball fields, tennis courts, and soccer fields. Located in Oakland Park next to industrial offices. Safe and relaxing atmosphere!

My son plays several sports on this field. There is always a BSO officer on premises when there is activity at the park. Has a nice playground outside the field and the staff is always nice. Also available are tennis and squash courts

Are we talking about the same Park here!!! Come on people let’s be realistic here! The park is taken over by thugs who use it as refuge when they wanna hide from the police when ever they’re being chased in they’re neighborhood. So then you try taking your kiddies there and they won’t even let your kids use the play ground cause they’re grown selves are slouching all over the place smoking out and looking at you like you crazy or something! Nope 👎 wish I can give a -5 ⭐️ but option not available! The fields are the only places that are safe and part of that is because they’re locked up when not in use, Place security in this park and maybe I’ll give it ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

This review is strictly for the fields because these are the only part of the park I have really used. I play Ultimate here from time to time. The fields are nice, spacious and drain well after rain. There are pickle ball courts adjacent to the fields. Ample parking on the west and south ends of the park. Not much else to say. 4 stars because the bathrooms are poorly maintained.

Great park, great people, just an overall positive vibe with a lot to offer! Only been there once but it was a really fun experience! Went to watch a flag football playoffs/championship to network with people to hopefully join a team in the spring, met some great people and had a great time even just hanging out on the sidelines. Hopefully I will be back in the spring for some awesome footballing, definitely looking forward to playing at this park in the near future, highly recommend this park for anybody looking for great fields and a great experience with friendly cool people!
