This review is LONG overdue! I gave the management team at Park Place plenty of opportunity to do the right thing but they have not! Before you sign the leasing contract they are very helpful and attentive but once you sign the contract, it goes downhill from there! On move in day there was a huge error and they put us in the wrong apartment. We had to wait over 6 hours for them to fix their mistake, and put us in the correct apartment. Which was a huge inconvenience, as we had our moving truck ready to go and only had an allotted amount of time to move in. I can nitpick all of the little things that went wrong but my BIGGEST issue is they moved us into an apartment that was COVERED IN MOLD! At the time of move in I noticed the lament floors were stained and I honestly didn't think much of it. I noted it in the walk through paperwork so we wouldn't be responsible for it. As time went on more stains appeared in the floor and I soon realized the stains were actually MOLD! We then noticed mold growing in the bathroom. At that point it all made sense why my fiancé and I were so sick and could not figure out why. We notified Management and Maria (The Manager) came down to inspect the apartment and said "mold was normal in Florida". I explained this amount of mold is not normal and I've lived in Florida my whole life and have never had mold in any of my homes. To make a VERY long story short we moved out as soon as we could and when it came time to receive our security deposit they took out $85 for the stains in the floor which was MOLD! I called on numerous occasions and she insisted the money would be refunded, I waited over 3 months and I haven't seen a penny! I called to ask when we would receive payment and she advised us to write a letter! They are lucky we don't sue them! The mold caused me to have asthma and I have never had issues with asthma in my life! This place is NOT worth the headache, I urge you not to rent here!!! I will insert some photos of the mold and an example from a google search of what mold looks like growing from under the floor.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I’ve been attacked while living here. Cars were broken into on a daily basis. They switched the staff up every couple of months so when someone told you something they would say that person no longer works here so they have no idea. They don’t keep records well. Messed up on my rent MULTIPLE times took there time to fix it then charged extra when I couldn’t pay it in a 2 week span. Everything about this neighborhood was terrible the only good thing is living near a Publix & Walmart in walking distance but even that isn’t worth it.

The worst place to live. I am staying here from 2019. When I first came here to visit my friend I was in love with the place by it's vintage look and large patio and got to know that "the maintenance service is good". But after moving almost everyday I see the police cars and swat teams are looking for criminals here.This place has no security cameras, no entry gate, I must say this place is not safe at all.Furthermore I saw an accident in front of my window inside the community. I am thrilled to see how the inside community road can be full of blind spots that can lead to accident.I don't want to say anything bad about the maintenance service because the service workers are really good at their job and they always try to solve the problems as fast as they can .

I would not recommend living here in a million years. The first year I lived here, my next door neighbor got his door kicked down. I had a full size washer and dryer upon moving in and the spin cycle didnt work. Instead of replacing it with the same washer, they gave me an old, undersized, rusted washer that I can barely fit 3 towels into. The maintenance man made a joke with me and said "no one gets anything new here. Everything is recycled." Speaking of maintenance, it is a joke. I had a leak in my roof from the last hurricane and it took them 5 months to fix. Once they finally came to fix the roof, they fixed the leak outside and left a gaping hole on my patio on the inside. They had the audacity of sending me an email asking me how well of a job I thought they did. Not to mention that your mail is not safe. Almost every single time I have had a package delivered to the office, they "cant find it". This has happened FIVE TIMES. One starts to wonder who is handling your mail in the leasing office. The only reason I haven't left is because the rent is cheap compared to other places. You certainly get what you pay for!

If I could rate 0 stars, I would. This place is everything wrong with rental units bundled in one. Maintenance is absolutely terrible. Good luck getting a timely repair for anything. Units are out dated by 20+ years. For the amount of money they charge for rent, nothing goes back into the building for upgrades/renovations. The utility/water charges are a SCAM. The whole billing process is sketchy and un professional to say the least. The office staff turnover is sad. Its almost like the property managers realize how twisted Park Place is and get out when they can. You speak to one property manager about something, come to an agreement, and boom another property manager is there the next week with no prior knowledge of anything going on. No cameras and its not safe. Cops constantly in and out of units serving warrants. SWAT team breaking down a door looking for a criminal. By far the worst living experience I've ever had. This place is disgusting and A SCAM! DO NOT make the mistake and let Park Place ROB you. People deserve better. I genuinely feel sorry for all that still live there.

great location for distance to travel to work, shopping. great service Just wanted to add. I’ve been here since 2003. There have been good and bad management companies. This is really trying. They have a lot of bad renters and staff that need to be overcome and Corrected. Let’s see what the year brings in changes and updates. It takes time and patience

DONT MOVE HERE!!! They can care less about your needs my kitchen lights have been broken for almost 2 weeks

I’m living at Park Place At Turtle Run for 6 months. The location is very good and also the Elemetary School. The Staff of the Leasing Office Maria, Antoinette and all the girls are supportive and they always helped with our needs. I have recommended the community to all my Friends and some of then already rented units at Park Place. The appliances are old fashioned but they work properly. I had some problems with the refrigerator and oven but they were quickly switched. The maintenance staff are also polite and helpful.

Termite infested. RUDE office staff. I called multiple times about termites and 2-3 months after still no response or maintenance visit. Moldy. Outdated. And OVERPRICED.

Pablo the maintenance supervisor is good. Came and made sure my sink was fixed quickly, he was friendly and asked about how my apartment and experience was in the community.

Great neighbors . I have lived here 4 1/2 years and everyone I know has been here a long time. Location has been perfect for access to work, restaurant s and more. We intend on staying.

I have lived at Park Place At Turtle Run for 5+ Years. The location is very central to all your commuting needs. Over these Past 5 years I have found the Staff of the Leasing Office Maria S - Mgr. Antoinette - Leasing agent Erika and other support staff very supportive and responsive to the Needs of their Residents. I have recommended and will continue to recommend Park Place to all my Friends an acquaintances as a place to live. I have found Park Place to be safe. Any issues that I may encounter with my Apartment is attended to with in a reasonable time. The grounds are well maintained.

The move in process was swift and smooth. I really appreciate the ladies in the office for their patience and kindness. I was able to move in within a few days! Stress free moving is now my expectation from here on out, because this process was just that, and it shouldn’t be any other way. Looking forward to staying here. Thank you!

Very beautifully remodeled apartment homes surrounding a serene landscape and picturesque decor. Nice place to raise a family. Good prices and super packed with posh amenities. Community pool and relaxing spa is open for the residents daily morning to evening. Including a Car wash area equipped with vacuum and cleaning tools. Highly recommended.

These ppl did not want to give me back my security deposit. Corporate and the main office communication was very conflicting and they did not have same information. It was all nice when I had to move in until things changed. I would have gone back or recommend ppl if I had a better experience all the way through.

Today i was serviced by the new management guy Pablo and he was very polite and helpful ! He resolved my problem I’ve had for a long time THE CORRECT WAY THE FIRST TIME I truly appreciated it. Made me feel like what I’m paying is worth it !

If I could put minus -100, I would, if you are thinking of renting here, read all the comments on this page, they are true!!! Terrible administration, starting with their new manager, she is rude, racist and indolent, she does not listen and yells at people, I have videos that will be published showing her terrible education and little understanding with the residents, apart from that their kitchens are old, they think of you charge for such basic repairs that they are normal usage expenses…. Their prices are exaggerated for such a terrible state of the apartments, additionally the security in the condominium is terrible, there are always police officers around!!! Their service employees only serve to talk about the residents, as is the case of Mr. Fredy, from the city of Cali, Colombian, who speaks badly about the residents in other people's houses, that is, he goes to your house to make an arrangement that he never does. , and then he goes to another and updates you on all the community gossip, a lack of respect, what he should do is fix the damage and that's it... instead of gossiping he should worry about reporting the terrible state of community cleanliness, the pool is always dirty!!!! Believe me, leave this community for your last housing option!
