Usually my a la carte menu at 5th element is fixed/favorites and order either of the items idli sambar, cut mirchi, paneer kunchan, bullet naan, and mango lassi. The taste, quality, quantity, and the service always stays the same/good, and that is why I keep going back.

I just ordered chicken lollipops which is 14.99 and I got 4 tiny burnt lollipops, which I don’t even know how to eat them. Look at my posted pictures to get amazed on what I got for the amount I paid. NO I don’t recommend if you would really want to eat Indian food.

One thing I missed hard since Covid started was my every other day Indian lunch buffet . And was happy that have lunch buffet and drove here 40 minutes from miami . It was worth with it . Had butter chicken and first time ever tried their dessert “mango custard “ which I loved it . Definitely will be going there regularly

This place is fantastic for a good delicious and fulfilling experience. The buffet was full of delicious Indian (north and south) food with a range of options that will leave your belly full for sure. Make sure to get there early and enjoy the food with friends and family. You will love the experience. Also, the dinner is a little pricey but the food quality is very good. Only suggestion I can give to the manager/owner is to make a choice of nan (1/2) or rice available with the curries. That will make it perfect dining place, lunch and dinner.

I have to say that I was disappointed. It seems from reading older reviews that COVID hit this restaurant hard, but I can only really judge based on my experience here for the first time. I was nearby for lunch, and I love a good Indian buffet, so I had to try this place. I was not greeted so much as waved in and the man silently gestured for me to sit at a particular table. He asked what I wanted to drink and I asked for water. To fast forward a bit, I was then shocked that my check was $18 for a lunch buffet drinking only water! The food had fair variety, probably better for vegetarians and vegans, as I know most Hindi are, but for me, it was not so good. I tried all of the meat dishes including the goat, but none of them really had much flavor. I know not all regional Indian dishes are very spicy, but none of these were even close. The Tandoori chicken was the driest bone-in chicken I have ever eaten. Service wise, I was given a single napkin, one woman came by and left a pitcher of water, but otherwise, no servers came by until the end when I asked if I paid them or up front. It was also very hot in there, despite the modern thermostat that read 69 degrees, which clearly it wasn't.

I've been to 5th Element Indian Grill, but in Daytona Beach, FL. This one in Pompano is also quite fantastic. We went on a Saturday afternoon time for the lunch buffet - $20.99 plus tax per person. Had goat masala, chicken biryani, tandoori chicken, butter chicken, shrimp masala, and more. Also had mango for dessert. The food is quite tasty, which is fantastic.

It's about time I give this place a review. I been eating there for the past 3 years! Great food, alot of vegan options which I appreciate and amazing lunch value. The lunch comes with all those small dishes. This is great opportunity to try the different Indian flavors.

This place has delicious food 5 stars. Clean 5 stars. Great customer service 5 stars. Anybody complaining and giving bad reviews might be competition, because they have a few other restaurants around. This Indian Restaurant deserves all 5 🌟. There is spicy and non spicy food. I will go again with my family. Emmanuel and the owner gave me a great customer experience.

Food was not consistent. We had some chicken vindaloo and palak paneer, and they were very good. My wife loved it so much she wanted to go back and have it at the restaurant. We ordered chicken vindaloo, lamb vindaloo, veg thali, veg pakora and masala dosa. We were very disappointed with vindaloo . It taste a little bitter, and pakora has more fried bason than vegetables. Also the service wasn't good. The server came to the table at the last minute, when there was only 2 other patrons was at a different table. Probably Won't go back there.

Good food and tasted fresh. Most Indian/Pakistani restaurants are notorious for being dirty and servings leftovers in their lunch buffets (look up Nirala in sunrise). That did not seem the case here and there were plenty of customers every time I have visited.

Love all the vegetarian options but the meat options were also so delicious especially the chicken Tikka. My favorite was the curry vegetables. For dessert I had the rice kheer which is one of my favorite desserts. We went for their lunch buffet and I would def recommend it because you can try many of their dishes for one price. Dont forget the mango ice cream and chai that comes with the buffet

The food was very good. We went to the weekday buffet - 2 of us ate for $34 plus tip. I am sensitive to spicy food but ate the cauliflower stew which was very spicy and the yummy goat which was spicy and loved them both. The Naan was very good and my friend ate the Tandoori chicken, Himalayan vegetables, Buffalo chicken and butter chicken. She said all were good. They end the buffet with complimentary mango ice cream and chai. A lovely way to end a tasty meal. Parking was easy and servers were attentive and cleared away plates quickly.

I train teams on customer service. So I was incredibly impressed today when I walked in through these doors. This location has by far the best service, surpassing high end restaurants. The staff was extremely attentive to details and to my table. The respect and way they worked together to make sure each table was covered was immaculate. I brought a friend with me and he loved the food as I did too. But by far, this place deserves greater recognition.

I use to love this place. But I am not sure what happened! It may be under new management. I Ordered 2 Mixed Tandoori meat platters to go. When I got the platters, one was missing shrimp and some of the meats. I returned them both to fix it. When I got both back, they took meat off the other platter and added it to the platter w/ no shrimp and missing meat. The cashier was a black man who was really sweet about the situation. You can tell he was embarrassed of what the cooks did in the kitchen. He advised me that the manager was not available to refund on my card. I told him that he needs to call his manager and insisted a refund. He eventually gave me a refund. The customer service from the man was good but the food service was horrible. The cooks in the kitchen are going to be the end of this place......

Family friendly restaurant, Great Customer service and free complementary mango ice cream at the end of your meal. I would definitely come here again!!!

We go here every weekend and they have buffet in the afternoon. It is really nice place food taste amazing. Staff is very nice and friendly. Reasonable priced we enjoy going there

I wish I could give this place a more favorable review. The food was mostly good (my Dosa was delicate and delicious, it's in the photo) but my impression was the server didn't really understand me and was relying on his computerized menu to place the order, the Mango Lassi I ordered never came, although I was billed for it, and the "Classic Martini" I ordered was light brown when it arrived and tasted like gin mixed with whiskey. It was so unpalatable that when the bill came I had to check to see if the drink was something else, but it wasn't. It might be better for take-out than dining in.

It was the best Indian food we've ever had. The Biriyani was delicious. Nice large portions with very very good dipping sauces. The long grain jasmine rice was really good. The buttered Naan was nice. If you're in the Fort Lauderdale area give it a try.

Everything was fresh and delicious. The service was excellent. Great selection of veggie dishes as well as meat dishes at the buffet bar. They have this great lunch buffet everyday (except Mondays) and the price is fair for buffet lunch.

Being a chef I was looking for good Indian food, so my fiancé and I decided to try out this restaurant. Hostess came to greet us and made sure our food was delicious. Food was adequate I love the goat curry and the taste was very authentic and ambience was great. Will definitely visit again please maintain the same standards !

3.5 stars Good basic spot for Indian eats if you're nearby. The food was enjoyable, served buffet style during our visit. Everything else was average. It was also very warm inside, not sure if they were having AC issues or just had the thermostat set too high.

This is hands down the best indian food ive tasted so far in sofla area. So many varieties, vegetarian and non vegetarian. The spice is just right. They even have street food panipuri and samosa chaat on sundays! My only gripe is i wish they had some rasgullas for desserts. And the price is also high. I paid about 22 dollars for lunch buffet on sunday . But if you want true indian food, then this is the place for you .

Restaurant is clean and have good ambience. Service is quick. Comes to food, their buffet is 💯. Every item was very delicious and flavorful. Reaches the expectations of food seekers especially who are craving for Indian food. Worth trying 👍.

I went for lunch and the buffet spread is amazing! The place smells great with all the Indian spices mingling together. I enjoyed the food and will come back again. I really want to give it 5 stars but because I wanted add more spice to my food and they didn't even have red pepper flakes.

Ordered Garlic Naan chicken tikka and another veg sabji. Taste, portion of serving and service was in general quite good. However we got dal which had a distinct taste and upon enquiry we didn’t get to know what it had. We were hoping to understand why the dal tasted like that which staff were not able to convincingly answer- hence a star less. Apart from that overall good.

Barely any vegan options on the lunch buffet, meals not suited for allergies and food intolerances. No Covid hygiene measures noticeable aside from staff wearing masks is concerning for a buffet restaurant (other buffet restaurants provide gloves and require a mask when you walk up to the buffet). Good selection of food if you're a meat and dairy eater but note that the mango ice cream machine is currently not in service.

It was an average experience. Menu is wide but not as tasteful. I guess, I am comparing the taste with the Jacksonville chain. In comparison of Jacksonville it was not satisfactory.
