Terrible first time experience at the Promenade's location in Coconut Creek.... my wife and I got there at 7:00pm on 2/19 and as we were making the line to order, we saw a person complaining about waiting for their food for 45 minutes. (for the kind of food they serve this should not be more than 15 minutes tops!) Anyways, hoping for better luck we ordered a California Mahi-Mahi bowl and a kids quesadilla........ As we were waiting we noticed a lot of people waiting for their food..... and some of them were already complaining. Well.... we sat there for over 30 minutes, and what I got was a bowl that was nothing like the California bowl.... it was half full, with just lettuce, some salsa, a bit of avocado on the side, little beans and two pathetic pieces of fish that were so thin you could barely tell what it was... Needless to say, we learned our lesson..... left totally disappointed.

Fresh, Reasonably priced food, and great atmosphere

Rubio's is amazing. I love their fish tacos, burritos, and california bowl. They have an extensive menu so you can always try something different. They serve shrimp and mahi mahi as well. The portions are good as well as the service and their homemade lemonade.

First time trying Rubios and I was impressed with the quality of the food for the price. It's nothing fancy but if you want well priced fresh food I would recommend this place. I had the shrimp and beer battered fish burritos. They are generous portions and the fish was fresh and great tasting. You get some chips and go for the citrus rice side dish. Will be back.

Pretty good I must say. Stopped by there today for lunch first time, I was in impressed I'm going back for dinner to try something else. What I like is that they also cater to vegans and the price is fair for the amount of food they serve to you. I wish they had homemade salsa that's the only disappointment. Other than that they're awesome!!

Agree with the others in that the location is nice and the food tastes good. I only gave 2 stars because the service is rather poor, store shouldve been cleaner, and the portion size is horribly small. Shrimp salad had 4 tiny dime size shrimp. The bowl was not even full with lettuce. The chicken salad that we also ordered was the same way. Maybe charge a little more and give a better portion size.

Delicious, as always! I stop by this location quite often and everything is always fantastic! They have frozen margaritas too! ❤️

The food is absolutely delicious! Fresh and flavorful, I’ve had a shrimp salad and a fish burrito so far and they were amazing. Great portions for a great price. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I’m so glad I live so close to this place, I’m telling everyone about it!!
