It was a really good experience. The food was really good. Perfect temperature. Also I recommended the pesto grilled Mahi + Shrimp and the fresh catch ceviche. those are an amazing dishes.

A bit of an upscale atmosphere with a variety of seafood and meat options. Outdoor seating is right by the water, doors are open so fresh air flows through the entire restaurant. We enjoyed our experience and the food.

Excellent location, service and food. Seek out Kate as she is amazing. The hostesses could stand a lot of improvement in their customer service - unfortunately par for the course with millennials these days it seems - 1 star off. The outdoor covered patio with uninterrupted views of the beach - yes restaurant is right on the beach sand, is the place to dine. The starter grilled octopus, mussels are excellent but the octopus is just awesome. The Calamari starter was mundane as were the Fish tacos. For the mains, the fresh catch with shrimp, Thai red curry and basmati rice was outstanding as was the Ora Salmon. The swordfish was on another level entirely - moist and flavorful. The up in smoke cocktail was outstanding and highly unusual. Buddy swore by the super spicy Bloody Mary. Excellent choice all around. We will be back .

The bar at Oceans 234 is a must if you enjoy a well made cocktail while taking in a stellar beach and ocean view. Our bartender was excellent as the 4 of us had several drinks each. The avocado, strawberry salad topped with shrimp was excellent! My wife had the Thai salmon and shrimp and it was authentic because my wife is from Thailand! I give that must-see beachfront restaurant five stars .I thought that was wonderful!

Even though it was freezing on the patio, we enjoyed our Christmas dinner outside with a view of the ocean. The food and service were excellent, as always!

For a first time coming to Deerfield Beach, we weren’t disappointed with Ocean 234. Even sitting inside, the ambience was lovely. A good selection of drinks from local craft beer to amazing cocktails. The food was surely the highlight. The chef was able to create delicious dishes mixing seafood, western and Asian ingredients to come up with an amazing fusion style cuisine.

Had an absolutely incredible experience here. Things are a little strange during these Covid times but this team was clearly doing there best. Our server, even though he was new, and manager were just phenomenal. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back! Thank you, thank you!

Our family, 10 at one table and 7 at another all enjoyed our Thanksgiving dinner on Thanksgiving night at this restaurant. Everything was absolutely perfect. The hostess was lovely, the atmosphere was lovely and the service was impeccable. Brian was our server at the 10 table. Needless to say the food was delicious, the oysters were outstanding. Brian made wonderful suggestions about entrees and we appreciated his knowledge of the menu.

Always have a good time at Oceans 234. We usually go to celebrate a special occasion, this night was decided on a whim we wanted to have oysters and Lobster Mac&Cheese… so delicious. Thank you for your hospitality, Jerónimo and Henry were great as well as the rest of your wonderful staff.

We always have a good meal and the service is always on point at Oceans 234. I would not call it fine dining but the food is definitely good and the drinks are as well. Very few restaurants offer the ocean view that this place do. Valet parking is $10 and they keep your car in their own lot infront of the restaurant foir fast retirival. We ordered the Members Only sushi roll and the Asian inspired chicken wing clubs for appertizer. Both dishes were really good; the rolls on the spicy side and the chicken has a sweet, tangy coating that was delicious. For main course we had the Swordfish with Cuscus, The 8oz filet Mignon with mashed potatoes and broccoli, as well as the seafod pasta. All the dishes came to the table fast, hot and at the same time. the fish was flaky and cooked perfect, the filet was super tender and the mashed potatoes well seasoned, the seafood pasta was filled with clams, shrimp and mussles and finally the smash burger was huge with well seasoned fries. I feel that all the dishes was cooked well and we thoroughly enjoyed them all. We skipped dessert and opted for a beach walk insted. The restaurant offer Google Pay as an addition to creditcard or cash. Overall a great experience at on of the premier places in Deerfield Beach.

Absolutely fantastic meal. The lobster Mac and cheese came with a full lobster tail. The other dishes in the party came out great. The drink selection and desserts were top notch. The setting was picturesque

I was really happy with my first time at Oceans 234 The Mai tai's were strong! Delicious! I love a strong drink We started with hummus, calamari, and tuna tartare! Hummus was good Loved the tuna tartare Was not a fan of the calamari :( tasted fishy. I got the filet mignon which was good! Cooked perfect! The swordfish was also very good! My boyfriend got the burger, and he said it was good. It was my birthday, so they gave me a dessert of my choice! I chose the key lime pie which was yummy! Altogether, the food was great except the calamari. Loved the drinks!

Very nice place just at the sea side. It has two different atmospheres: the terrace more informal with great beach views and the salon more formal and ideal for romantic dinners. Good combination of American classics ( burgers and sandwiches) with high quality seafood ( ceviche and mussels)

Great fancy Peruvian restaurant! This is not your typical Peruvian food. This is gourmet twists on Peruvian classics. Is a great choice for a first date, and very family oriented environment. Just know, it is a little on the expensive side, but very much worth it. Props to the server, because he asked if any of us had allergies. I have never been asked that, but I appreciate it immensely.

Had a wonderful experience here. Lots of exciting options on the menu and everything we ordered tasted great and was beautifully presented. The atmosphere right next to the beach was fun and our waiter was excellent with recommendations and explanations. Cocktails were well made. Highly recommend.

Awesome experience! Food was great. View totally worth it. Management was present and helpful. We got the mussels for an app - delicious! I got the scallops and risotto (very large portion, perfectly cooked) and my husband got the swordfish. Cocktails were overall great and they were able to make substitutions no issue. I just had the most fabulous lunch here. Epic views aside, the service was impeccable. Eliot R was my server and he did a great job, was very attentive, and even answered my questions about what another guest was eating. After Eliot patiently described it, I just had to try it!! The sushi bowl was sooo good. It’s called a Chirashi Bowl. (Not pictured as I devoured it). That bowl in addition to what I originally ordered for lunch was all around worth every star in this review.

Food was delicious! We ordered way too much because there was so much we wanted to try. The perfect last night to our vacation. So impressed and appreciative of our waiter- I don’t remember his name, but he had black glasses and a ponytail. I have several food allergies and he made sure to take great care with what I could and could not order, even going back and speaking with the Chef to double check. Sometimes it can be nerve-wracking to eat out with allergies, but having a waiter who cares makes the experience so much less overwhelming! We will be back next time we are in the area!

Overall a decent place on the water. It’s hard to find a place on the water THIS close. 20 steps out to the sand. However, it’s definitely beach front realty; the pricing is high. $20 for a drink, $20 for most apps, $30-$50 for most entrees. I understand it’s a little nicer, but just expensive. I’d recommend the smoked old fashion, and the Gnocci for menu items to get. Try to get a reservation, and make sure to valet because parking is sparse.

I love this restaurant 😍! The atmosphere is always amazing. I prefer the patio dining for the ocean views, but it was closed off Valentine's Day. The lobster mac is always delicious, but Valentine's night it had a little too much salt, bummer. All in all we had an amazing time. Everyone is super friendly, and your food comes out in a reasonable amount of time.

Ocean 234 in Deerfield Beach, Florida has the Ideal SpotOn the Palm Beach Coast. Spectacular Ocean side views and a contemporary dining motif. I dined on a Saturday night and yes reservations are highly recommended. When you enter inside you are immediately greeted with a smile and a quick confirmation of your reservation. The host or hostess will take you quickly to your table. Clean linen and a well lit area with a LED table lamp that will give ample light to read the menu. I've been to so many other restaurants where it's so dark you can't read the menu at all. I have to use my phone to see the menu. But it's not so bright that it was annoying. The menu is ample with a good spread of various cuisines so there is something for everyone. As with all my reviews I always stick with the same thing so as to properly compare these restaurants. I had the New York Strip done Medium. I also ordered a Dried tomato Caesar Salad as an appetizer but I also ordered an additional side of Crispy Brussel Sprouts. (WOW, Gotta try them, Strong flavor YUM) The New York was done perfectly as you can see by my pictures. Each Course was presented properly and quickly example the Appetizer was there inside of 7 min from ordering. The entrée was there inside of 23 min from ordering. The Stake had great flavor and seared on the outside to give that just right taste without over seasoning it. The Dessert, I ordered the SEASONAL BREAD PUDDING with Blue Berries and rum créme anglaise, whipped cream and ICE CREAM. I must apologize, I devoured it the second it arrived. It was so delicious I lost my mind and didn't think of taking a picture of it before diving into it. Being a farmer boy from Maine and as a kid on the farm I used to go Blue Barry picking with my family in our back field, every fall and I'd come back with half in the basket and the other half in my belly! :) So, I'm going to barrow a photo of the dessert that I had.

We have been coming to your place for years, we drive from Miami and we have never been disappointed, it's always great food, great drinks and better atmosphere specially when Jose is around he was a great server and now an even better manager, the tall fellow that served us today, was friendly and attentive, A meal looking at the ocean is always a great meal. It is the perfect place for a date or a family dinner! The view doesn’t get better than this! The food is all so delish and our waiter was knowledgeable and recommended the perfect dishes and drinks! We look forward to coming back and trying more things!

We have been coming to this place for at least 15 years perhaps even longer and it never gets old, there’s always something new and exiting, the food is so well prepared, you can appreciate every flavor on the plate, cocktails are a must try, they have them all, great service thanks to Kelvin and management. The ocean view the service and the great food is worth the drive from anywhere, coming back from Orlando to Miami, this is the best place in between, will see you guys soon, thank you again…

the reviews that comment about how your paying for the views not the food are absolutely correct. the views are gorgeous and are directly across from the calming beach. the food itself is tasteless. there is almost no seasonings added to the food. and I wouldn’t even care but they don’t even give you salt or pepper to try and hide the taste. for the high prices with the lowest price being the sides at about 10-15 dollars I’d expect more. if you want good views and cheap tasteless food this is the spot. continue your research as there’s at least a dozen more places on the beach with the same views and better food! What I can say though is the service is at least nice. The calamari was at least decent.

Lovely oceanfront seafood restaurant! Highly recommend if you are looking for romantic ambience and delicious seafood. Ordered scallops with truffle risotto for main dish and paired it with Cakebread Chardonnay... absolute deliciousness!

The food was good but not good enough to excuse the horrible service. I was there with a group of 5 people. The waitress was unpleasant from the beginning. While we were eating our dessert she brought the checks and we paid them. Since the checks were paid, she started cleaning everything off the table even though we were still finishing up. I still hadn't finished my drink. Three of us stood up to walk to the restroom and before I even left the table she took my chair from right behind me and brought it to another table!!! If I had changed my mind and sat back down I would have fallen on the floor, that's how fast she snagged the chair. I couldn't believe it. She told the other 2 who stayed at the table that we needed to leave because another group was waiting for our table. However, there were 2 open tables outside, several open tables inside AND I hadn't finished my drink yet. It completely ruined our evening, especially since it wasn't exactly a cheap meal.

It’s hard to pick where to start... the ocean front views, service, food, and atmosphere set Oceans 234 apart from all the rest. The fish was extremely fresh and the champagne was ice cold! Great way to spend the afternoon! Huge outdoor patio and great people watching!

It was a busy Friday night, we had a sushi roll app, Swordfish entree and Scallop w/ risotto entree. My Swordfish was cooked next to a steak, (I could taste it), and the veggies were overcooked. The Scallops were seared perfectly but the Risotto was more like cheesy mushroom compote. The highlight was the dessert and the personality of our waiter. Overall the food was underwhelming, the oceanfront dining and cocktails are the upsell here.

Went to celebrate a birthday! Ended up storming, but the patio is covered so we still opted to eat outside. We got to enjoy a nice lightning show! The scallops and mushroom risotto is to DIE FOR, so delicious! Drinks were great, but overpriced in my opinion. I would go back for a meal again!

I recently came here for lunch, and forgot how amazing the food and the view are! Diego had a great personality, he provided awesome recommendations, everything we ordered was delicious. The crab cake and the spicy rainbow roll are an absolute must. Of course, we ordered coffee and dessert, I was disappointed with the cappuccino. We ordered the trio, i was not a fan of the passion fruit mango creme brûlée, the passion fruit was too overpowering. But the mixed berry crumble and the chocolate trilogy were on another level.

Waitress was nice but took a while with a few things. Food looked very appetizing but a little plane. Ordered the lamb shank, lobster mac and Thanksgiving dinner. Turkey was juicy and delicious but lobster was too chewy and over cooked. Mac would have been better with more cheese, was barely any on it. Drinks weren't good at all. Asked for lemonade but it was sour mix. Valet was good with taking the car, but when it was time to leave he backed it out of the parking spot on the side of the lot and made us walk over to it. We could have just parked our car and walked to it ourselves if that was the case. I can honestly say the best thing about this restaurant was the view and the night vibe.

Excellent seafood, well prepared. Tables are right off the beach so really a fun place to eat early before sunset. Had our oysters grilled, coconut shrimp, then the snapper and pompano, a truffle risotto better than the poke which was dull. Lobster Roll Sushi very fresh. Every dessert delicious.

It's days like this that I love living in SoFla. Enjoyed beach dining so much last week, we decided to try again this week at another establishment. Nico was our server and he was on the money. His suggestions were on point and he was attention but not hovering. We started with the Edamame and the Mussels. Both were great starters. My first time enjoying Edamame prepared with citrus sea salt, crispy garlic, xo sauce, sesame oil. Delicious. I had the Fresh Catch Reuben; which was swordfish. Two guests had burgers and the other a Tune Poke. Each said their food was great and would certainly order again. I talked my friends into trying the Chocolate Trilogy which was double stuffed oreos baked between chocolate chip cookie dough and fudge brownie, vanilla ice cream, chocolate ganache. Paired with a fresh cup of coffee and I was good to go. The weather was fab and it was nice not to be rushed through lunch. Special kudos to Nico for his excellent service. All in all, it was a great day!

We wanted a special place for our weekend getaway. Unfortunately we were disappointed with Oceans 234. The two appetizers we ordered were wonderful but the skirt steak was under cooked and when we received it again our meat was literally cold. Maybe it was an off night for them.

After a day at Deerfield Beach, we had to eat at the beautiful restaurant we saw bustling near the pier. My daughter and I sat outside and enjoyed the great views. We ordered a seafood medley of sorts with a side of mushroom truffle risotto. The seafood was spot on and that risotto was to die for! Also had a handcrafted gin drink that had a splash of purple in it. It was delicious! My only recommendation to the restaurant is to charge what they do for the handcrafted drinks, please use less ice. In literally 3 normal sips of a straw, the drink is gone. I said something to the waiter and he said "they get complaint (about too much ice) a lot" and that he'd get the manager. The manager came over and listened to me.... He got me another drink on the house (although begrudgingly) which was nice. But at $15/drink, if more than one person is complaining, they need to somehow give more bang for the buck. But I judge a place on the quality of their seafood, which is hard to get right, and that's why I'm giving this place a great rating. I'd be back, but might try wine with my meal next time.

Very cozy spot. Right on the beach. Outside seating was about 80% full for Monday lunch, so I guess place fills up at night or on the weekends. They had valet parking for $5. A bit steep for my liking. Our waitress was wonderful. She was attentive, organized and quick on her feet. All qualities I appreciate. The food was delicious. We has fish tacos, broiled squid, beet salad and fish in curry sauce. The fish was a bit salty and curry wasn't spicy as all. I would have liked the opposite in that dish, but the rest of dishes were fantastic! Will definitely be coming back.

Update:: my friend got good poisoning off the coconut shrimp. AVOID THIS PLACE. This restaurant does not adhere to social distancing guidelines per broward county as stated - must have all tables and chairs 6 feet apart. We even wrote in our reservation notes that we would like to have the 6 feet honored and try to have a corner table. The sat us smack dab in the middle and surrounding our tables with other guests. Food is good but not worth the risk of health or terrible service. Asked for extra OJ for my mimosa and never got it. Asked for bread never got it. Our server circled us for 10 minutes even with our plates stacked before we finally had to flag her down and asked for the check. Tipped 20% for hard times but will not be returning and may possibly report to the city for their lack of adherence to city guidelines.
