We ordered takeout and sat there for 1hour and 25 min came in and out and they kept saying 10 min all the way in till closing where they said oh no you ordered to late! Unbelievably bad service considering they had no hesitation demanding my Visa card prior to entering accepting our order. This restaurant was recommended by a colleague who said it was consistent sushi. I will certainly not come here again and also ensure my colleague does not mislead any other decent people.

I really want to give this restaurant 5 stars because the food was excellent, and our waitress was very nice. It loses a star because the indoor dining space was dark, cramped, and the music was far too loud for us to talk comfortably amongst ourselves. Once we settled at a table outside, we had a wonderful time. The waitress gave my daughter special chopsticks, and the prices were very reasonable for sushi. Five stars if you eat outside or like to eat sushi in a dark club-like atmosphere.

The best sushi in all of Broward County. Have been coming here since 2019 and the consistency stays the same. It’s a family owned restaurant so the service stays as good as day 1! The staff is so friendly and always makes us feel welcome. Our usual is the Bonsai, Shrimp Tempura and we recently tried the Pompano Tower. Wow! Exquisite. “See you tomorrow” :)

This place is worth the wait. Their service is good with sushi taking a little longer than I would normally expect to prepare, but the quality is great and their presentation is amazing. Granted my sushi experience in Florida is limited but I greatly enjoyed my meal here and honestly suggest it to anyone in the area.

The staff, the food....the FOOD...the SUSHI....the SAKE Most important is their attention to detail. Great artwork in el bano.

If you want the highest quality professionally prepared with artistic flair…. Then you have found it. Top, the Itamae/ head sushi chef is awesome. Great experience every time you go. Superior in taste and portions at affordable prices. He wants people to be able to afford coming back. So he sacrifices the higher prices for quality of food. The staff is always friendly and welcoming.

I came to 9face sushi to enjoy the full moon nite. Ambiance, music, lighting (very impressed) I met Jasmin, Ae & the chef (top) But the food was amazing!!! These guys know what they are doing...

This place is a hidden gem Super friendly owner and staff some Of the freshest sushi and wasabi I’ve had I definitely enjoyed ever bite and will for sure go back in a heartbeat

These are the best sushi around Fort Lauderdale/Pompano Beach. The portions are great, taste is wonderful and there are many options to select from. The spicy edamame, Beach Roll and Lobster Roll are the best. Staff is always so incredibly nice and polite. 10/10.

Fantastic little place! Portions are generous and so very delicious . In a very good timed manner. Employees are kind and very welcoming . Very customer oriented. Food was delicious and so very fresh and tasty and just all around perfect . Would absolutely reccomend this place to everyone ! My husband and I recently moved to East Pompano and hoped to find a local sushi place to frequent. Well, we found it 🙂. The service is fantastic and we have not had one bad meal or experience yet. We dine at 9face at least once a week. We highly recommend checking them out if you’re looking for a nice local vibe. Maybe even take a walk on the beach after, you’re right there lol 😎

Sitting inside was a refreshing from the humidity. Friendly staff and miso soup was delicious and warm. Ordered 2 rolls not knowing their would be 10 pieces. A great evening at 9 Face Sushi Cafe.

Everything was well made! Service was fine and the food was tasty, but the restaurant wasn’t busy at all and it still took quite a long time for everything to come out. I also found the menu to be quite expensive — for two rolls and an appetizer, I paid nearly $50. The location is great though, and I would not recommend the restaurant for casual dining, but rather for a nice date night out!

Amazing sushi! We ordered the Red Face roll and the Soulmate roll both were super fresh ingredients and delicious! I also recommend the chicken fried rice while you wait… It has lots of chicken, veggies, eel sauce, and flavor! We are definitely making this weekly thing!

Delicious sushi spot right off of Pompano Beach and surrounded by other eateries and kitschy gift shops. A staff member of the company we rented seats and an umbrella from on the beach recommended this place to us, regarding it as the best locally-owned sushi place in town. We were very satisfied with the food and service, though the price was pretty steep (but not surprising for the tourist-filled town). We sat on the patio during sunset. I started off with a ginger salad and then had a bonsai roll (recommended to me by our server) and a yellowtail roll. Both were tasty. I found the yellowtail roll in the basic rolls section. The bonsai roll was more than $15 and the yellowtail was maybe $7. However, I didn't expect such a difference in quantity of food in the rolls. The yellowtail was tiny! My husband started off with miso soup and then ordered the spicy tuna, rainbow, and volcano rolls. We left stuffed to our brim and took a combination of pieces, resulting in about a roll's worth, back to our hotel, very satisfied.

Ordered the spicy miso soup. It was spicy because they added red flakes to it. It was okay. Not great We ordered a spicy tuna roll and it was mostly cucumber. Had the salmon sashimi which was $4 for two pieces and they were sliced very thin. Eel hand roll was ok but tiny. The avocado salad was served in a water glass and I had them bring me a salad bowl to put it into. It had big chunks of avocado and that was good. The good thing about this place is that you can eat outside right by the beach. But there are much better sushi places to eat for food.

Waitress was absolutely lovely However the sushi while rolled well, had no eel in it...like it's a $15 roll you think they would put eel in it. Also the tom yum wasn't authentic tasting wasn't bad tho

I’ve been eating sushi here for years, I’m surprised that I haven’t left a review. From the apps to the sushi rolls, everything is fresh and taste great. Place is clean and the staff is friendly. It’s a small inside with additional tables outside. On busy nights it takes a bit longer for rolls to come out, I say that because tourist really don’t get that concept. Be sure to try the Tuna Pizza.

Very nice little sushi place, enjoyed the rolls, Udon soup and pad Thai. They also make Thai Ice tea which is great. Food is good, staff is nice. Inside is a bit cramped but outside is nice in good weather.

Excellent food, and the atmosphere is really nice. My friend and I went here after a day on the beach and it was perfect. They really take care of the people dining there. They brought us this orange that was carefully cut into what looked like a work of art. Our last day in West Palm Beach, we went here twice, once for a late lunch and again for dinner.

Very good food and kind service, parking can be a little bit of a hassle but once you get the spot you can be ready for some delicious sushi!

We have come here serval times and everything is always so good! The pad Thai is excellent, the sushi fresh and tasty, friend rice full of flavor. You just really can't go wrong. Not to mention its convenient location so close to the beach. 9 face gets a thumbs up all around from us! Just don't get there at closing time or respect their last call. They mean it when they say last call. Other than that be sure to give this place a try!

WOW! This place is amazing and the very best fried rice I have ever experienced, absolutely fantastic. If you are ever in this area please give it a try. Friendly and quick service. Love the staff as they all made us feel welcome. Even liked howw they said, "Ok we'll see you tomorrow" when we told how much we enjoyed the food and service.
