Yummy 😋 🤤 brown stew veggie plate, jerk chicken, strawberry up and tamarind up smoothies are pictured below. Their juice bar menu is amazing. One of the best smoothies I’ve ever gotten. I drank it so fast I wish I had gotten a large instead! Was my first time having chickpeas and let me tell you they were delicious! Also got a side of jerk chicken and it was the 💣!!! Definitely a hidden gem 💎!!!

I love the taste of their food but it’s honestly not worth the drive. The staff is not reliable. You can’t get an honest answer when you call to ask about the food; they act like they don’t know what’s being made and can’t find out. They advertise that they close at 8/9 depending on the day of the week but they make their own schedule. I just drove from Coral Springs and even though their door is open, they denied me service and turned off their “open” sign. It was 6 when I got there.

One of the best hidden jems in the area. Smoothies and refeshers are amazing. Shout out to Shana who prepared our smoothies was absolutely amazing, she prepared our smoothies and was so patient with us while we ordered. I really enjoyed my stop here. Got the chance to sample their pumpkin porridge which had lots of spices and was very flavorful. Tried the “Pineapple up” smoothie which was made just to my liking, I was able to adjust the sweetness to my taste. Breakfast was delicious , portion and pricing was on point too! Definitely see myself being a regular here.

The five star rating this place has is highly deserved. Checks off all the boxes I look for - amazing quality food, super friendly staff, locally owned, and affordable. We got the curry goat lunch special and a hibiscus, soursop, and sea moss smoothie. DELICIOUS! Will definitely be back.

I don't know if all these Jamaican restaurants source their meat from a specific supplier but the brown stew chicken and the jerk chicken was nothing but bones. In placing my order it really wasn't clear what comes with the dishes, and there was confusion on the price and menu items onset of placing my order. My jerk chicken came with rice and two little plantains. It was more hot than there was flavor as far as spiciness. It came with a lot of rice which made the dish seem plentiful but once you open it it was very starch heavy. Coworker got the brown stew chicken and she was not impressed with it either. Nothing really stands out to me about this please certainly not the food, the restaurant was definitely clean though from what I could see. Smoothies you can make at home with a good blender.

Food is super flavorful everytime. 6. Owner is amazing and values her craft, which shows up in the service and food quality. 7. Black owned, family owned business. I go several times a week and have been frequenting for some time now. Highly recommend!

When I don’t feel like cooking I come to this place.. it is the next best thing to home cooking! The food is delicious always fresh always hot & the smoothies are out of this world! Since discovering this place it is often my go to especially after workouts to get incredible shakes! This is a Pesca vegans’ heaven! The service is warm welcoming and friendly!! They treat me as if I am part of the family sometimes it’s hard to leave the sisters know exactly what they were doing as far as nutrition. What I especially love is that they are nutritionist and incorporate healthy and delicious flavors to make an impressive array and variety of dishes. I wholeheartedly recommend this place, have recommended and will continue to recommend this place especially because it is black owned/operated and ran my beautiful black queens ..stop in one day you will not be disappointed!

I must say this is the best Jamaican restaurant i have been to, the food is 100, you can taste the love, time and effort in every meal, the customer service is top tier and i just keep coming back because they won me over. Highly highly recommend you go to Shangul, you will not be disappointed!!!!

Just happened to look for a juice bar nearby where I was driving and popped in. The Belly Buster was so good and a patron happened to pay for everyone’s order. Been back twice since, my kids also got refreshers that they loved. The Jerk chicken and bok choy were really good

I really enjoyed the food !!!!! I am a good cook and come from a family of chef’s and I would come here again I recommend it highly. The smoothie “Love deh yah” was sooo divine……the customer service was great everyone was so patient and pleasant. Lastly the place was clean and our server washed her hands before fixing our plates.

Greeeat smoothies......... I'm always willing to pay whatever the price is... But, as with many a restaurant/ business in this area, they can NOT be relied upon. Something as simple as staying open until the claimed time that you say you are open until is quite the issue w/ this establishment..... Getting there 20 min prior to closing is the same thing as closed with them....... Who does that! Went there today and door is locked 20 til...... Simply no answer for this.... Please, say you shut down @ 7:40 or whatever time you decide is time to rest/ chill for the day and your patrons will understand. So long Shanguls 👋🏽

Nice and friendly service. I’m ok with paying the price I did for good customer service over the value and flavor of the food I received. I’ll try another dish maybe next time. Shakes/juices are good though.

This is my 3rd time trying this place and I can't say that im impressed at all. I see why the lunch special.is only $5 my rice was old or half cooked very hard and crunchy the meat is barely meat mostly bone. Apparently not the right place to go for fresh Jamaican food

The food is AUTHENTIC flavorful Jamaican food. This was my first time ordering on UberEats and they were able to adjust the order. They have great customer service. Yes, great customer service without the attitude, rolling eyes, & chuips like the other places lol.

Fresh, Fresh food. Awesome flavors. Fried dumpling oput of this worls. Fluffy and flaky at the same time. Perfect to sop up my run down gravy or Ackee and satfish. Even my new born loves the food..LOL
