Just ok. I was really looking forward to visiting Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza on this recent trip back to Pompano. My family has always loved this pie and this location. However, this last time, the carry out was just OK. I don't know if the restaurant chain has been sold or this location has changed something, but the pizza was unremarkable. In particular, what was different than my remembrance of Anthony's was that the crust was tough and chewy. If my memory serves me correctly, that 900 degree oven used to make the pizza crust super crisp and with a good amount of char. In fact, the last time I had Anthony's from this location, I preferred it to some old school pizza joints in New Haven, CT - the birthplace of coal fired pizza. The flavor of the sauce, cheese and pepperoni were great. The flavors didn't change, but so much changes if that that crust isn't crispy or if it doesn't have the right amount of char. The curbside service was fantastic as always. I'm willing to chalk this up to something that's not the norm for this place and I'm definitely willing to give the location another try. Just on the off chance that the experience of the crust is the same, I'm going to have to write this place off for future trips because that crust is what coal fired pizza is all about.

We started with salad ..That vinaigrette dressing was so good! The pizza was a memory-maker! We split a small pizza one side pepperoni with a hot pepper on each slice... the other half was arugula with added prosciutto. The crust was perfect! We ended with cannoli. It was tasty! Recommended!

Tasty delicious pizzas, also chicken wings are yumm 😋. Unfortunately the manager is not to keen on cleaning; the windows are full of dirty handprints, tables are dirty and greasy (and cleaning them with dry towels doesn't help), outside terrace is just a bunch of chairs and tables put together, hopefully one day they will think about making that place even better :)

It was our first time here and we ordered some garlic knots along with a small pepperoni and sausage pizza. It was really good. Very tasty. I would return to try another item. Our server was very nice and helpful.

Food tastes great!!! For your first visit receive a free sample of either a meatball, chicken wing or garlic knot. We ordered a large Caesar salad, original wings (with Mike’s Hot Honey) and a pepperoni pizza. Everything was fresh and hot! Will definitely eat here again… and again!

My family and I had the pleasure of dining tonight at this establishment and it was a wonderful experience for many reasons but mainly because of our very attentive waiter named Tim. He went above and beyond with the service. Tim is someone that deserves recognition for his hard work. He definitely has manager qualities. We are now more inclined to come back because of this impeccable service and we thank you for that!!

Their buffalo chicken wings are absoulutely delicous, their pizza is just as good I always go here with my family as we just enjoy it so much that we always want to come back the waiters are also nice and helpful so I would really reccomend that you eat here.

This Anthony’s makes the best pizza. My wife and I purposely drive up to this location because the pizza is fire. Last night we ordered the Paulies pie and no flop. Props to Justin for making our pizza without a flop! 🙌🏼

I have been eating lunch at this location for over 10 years and always enjoyed good food and great service. It is even better now with the current manager Bria and staff who are always friendly and want to make sure everything turned out perfectly. Had a lot of good servers over the years, but Bronwen is amazing. That girl doesn't stop, answering phones, handling the bar while also handling seated tables then rushing over for take out. Wish I had 10 of her at my office. Great job everyone, always look forward to my lunch days at Anthony's Pompano!!

Best pizza in town! Pizza for me is like milk for an infant a MUST HAVE! So coming here to this location is my only option. Can’t compare the pizza to any of the other locations. Pizza is DELICIOSO, finger licking good. Had to personally thank the pizza guy Justin for making the best pizza in town. Highly recommend! Salad and wings were also great but pizza is 🔥🔥

Was looking for a good place to eat some pasta and meat sauce found this place really Nice environment. The server was awesome. They had meatballs instead of meat sauce, although all you have to do is break it down definitely recommend Great place to eat 👌🏻 5 Stars ⭐️

I pulled into the Pompano Marketplace, which was very busy with cars entering and exiting, and found a parking spot right in front of the restaurant. This location was large with plenty of table seating, including by the bar. I approached a female employee in a small area where the takeout orders are made and informed her that I was here to pick up my order, and I also wanted a slice of cheesecake. The coal fired chicken was lightly seasoned and tender. Some pieces was charred a bit too much. It didn't bother me, I just scraped it off with a fork. I usually like my cheesecake topped with strawberry compote, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. It was creamy and decadent. I look forward to dine in next time and indulge in some pizza and a glass of wine.

Food was burnt. Both the Garlic rolls and Pizza were burnt. We mentioned to the waitress when the garlic rolls came out that these aren't really edible and shouldn't be served...her response was "we are known for serving food well done"... then brought us a fully burnt black bottom crust pizza... which is unacceptable. I've been to Anthony's Coals other locations and the food was great. This particular location I would not recommend.

Anthony’s has become a bi-weekly staple for us. The food is delicious and consistent. The waiters have come to know us and take care of all their tables like their family. And the manager, Bria, supports her team like no other. We love this place!

We got to-go. Tried their meat overload pizza and garlic wings. Pizza was good, but the wings were out of this world. The coal oven does some serious magic. Perfect crispy outside with juicy inside... will have to try the other flavors.

What a fantastic restaurant with excellent service! Timothy was our waiter and he was just amazing, provided the best service we have had in a long time! He was so friendly with our kiddos and very prompt to our every need—he was so patient when I accidentally spilled my drink! He was also knowledgeable about gluten free items. The wings were phenomenal, the best we have had on our trip here! The garlic knots, pizza and cannolis were also delicious. 10/10 recommend!!

Well, where do I even begin with Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza and Wings? I had the pleasure of visiting this fine establishment recently, and let me tell you, it was an experience I won't soon forget. First of all, I must commend them on their dedication to maintaining an authentic, rustic atmosphere. The dirty tables inside the restaurant were a charming touch, reminding me of a quaint Italian village where cleanliness is clearly overrated. I mean, who wants a pristine dining surface anyway? And let's not forget the star of the show – our friendly server. He had that special knack for making us feel right at home. His dirty uniform was amazing as if he had just rolled out of bed and decided to serve us with his morning coffee stain intact. It was positively endearing. After much contemplation, we made the difficult decision to leave the place. I know, I know, it's hard to believe that we would pass up the opportunity to dine in such a unique establishment. But sometimes, a person just needs a little less character and a lot more sanitation in their dining experience. Bravo, Anthony's, for keeping it real.

We walked in and immediately and we was welcome and that we could feel free to sit anywhere. I had the half pepperoni which was great and my wife had sausage, pepper's and onion sandwich. We went to another one out In Orlando back in June which my wife said the sausage did tasted like Italian sausage but the one here didn't taste like Italian sausage maybe they could get this fix but the service and the atmosphere was awesome. But we will return again and Thank You for making us Welcome.

Family and friends on Ian evacuation to Fort Lauderdale. All wanted pizza and Anthony's was open. Got there and servers were pleasant. Atmosphere was homey and clean. Food arrived quickly and service was constantly up on drinks and any requests. Reasonable prices

We love coming here because Tim is the best waiter—ever! He hustled like no other and has a great memory and always super nice. We’ve had lots of terrible service, so it’s always refreshing when the service is great. We specifically come to this location because of Tim. I hope management sees what a great worker he is.

Our family really loved the pizza and service! Justin was GREAT and on point with everything, plus recommended the different pizza pies to accommodate the entire family. We all left super satisfied and happy. Highly recommend!

Just had the best experience here. Our server, Jonathan was super attentive and kind, the wings were incredible, the garlic knots were perfect, and the pizza was impeccable. I wish I could give more stars, to be honest. Would absolutely return and recommend. Thank you for a great lunch date with my hubby!

So, out of the last 3 visits, I give 1 star, 4 stars & 2 stars. The 1 star visit the pizza was burnt. The 4 star visit the pizza the pizza was very good. The 2 star visit the wings were cold, the salad was room temperature & the pizza was ready in 15 minutes & was somewhat warm. We would truly love to support this place but finding it hard to do so. Consistency, on the good side, would be nice.

Pizza was good, prosciutto’s ham wasn’t fresh on the pie, but it was good in general. Ashley our waitress, definitely made a big difference on our experience. Very friendly, respectful, attentive and professional. It is amazing how much difference good customer service represents on a business 🙏🏼 This girl gave the five stars to this pizza place 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

The people that work here are very nice and the service was very good. The meatballs were excellent and the pizza was extremely filling. Portions were sizable and overall, a really good choice for dinner.

I loved it the tuna salad sandwich is my favorite thing to order when im buy myself and it never dissapoints plus the never garlic Romano wings where great and surprisingly not salty or over grilled Plus the environment was nice modern yet cozy with a bar in the open and you can watch the shifts do they best 👌
