Been
here
many
times
as
the
food
has
been
excellent
in
the
past--depending
on
on
what
you
get
as
good
as
any
Indian
places
Ive
been
in
LA
or
New
York.
Its
gone
down
a
notch
lately,
but
the
bigger
issue
is
the
pricing.
Ever
feel
like
you're
just
being
taken
advantage
of?
Its
the
only
Indian
place
Ive
been
where
they
charge
for
steamed
white
rice
to
accompany
the
entrees.
It
wouldn't
be
a
big
deal
except
that
1)
the
entrees
are
already
on
the
pricey
side
and
2)
the
amount
seems
absurd--charging
over
$5
for
white
rice
to
accompany
two
entrees
just
feels
exploitative--I
mean
its
what,
maybe
$.35
worth
of
rice
even
after
inflation?
(Even
the
Japanese
places
that
charge
for
rice
usually
limit
it
to
~$3
and
then
its
for
super
high
quality
rice).
And
there
are
other
little
things
too--how
is
a
can
of
coke
over
$5?
Anyway,
Id
still
say
the
food
is
solid
but
varies
by
item.
One
thing
they
do
really
well
is
the
Kashmiri
naan
if
you
like
the
sweet
stuff
(not
every
Indian
place
makes
this
so
its
worth
a
try
if
you
haven't
had
it
and
you
like
the
sweets).
Service
was
a
bit
slow
too,
despite
the
restaurant
not
being
very
crowded,
but
I
think
every
restaurant
is
just
having
a
hard
time
staffing
since
the
mass
die
off
and
retirements
following
Covid,
so
I
dont
hold
that
against
them.
The
workers
here
are
super
pleasant.
The
restaurant
is
a
bit
loud
with
the
live
music
next
door,
but
manageable.
