March
2020.
This
is
a
very
nice
buffet
and
the
food
is
generally
good.
The
reason
for
the
3star
review
is
due
to
the
overall
"value
for
money"
problem.
Tonight
was
the
"seafood
buffet"
for
$40.00
per
person.
The
selection
was
wide
and
the
quality
of
the
food
was
MOSTLY
fine.
The
buffet
is
laid
out
quite
nicely
and
spaciously.
But
truth
be
told,
and
without
intending
to
be
unfair,
the
food
here
is
not
substantially
better
than
Golden
Corral
which
is
substantially
less
expensive.
One
common
complaint
both
me
and
my
wife
had
was
regarding
the
overcooked
fish
and
overcooked
shrimp.
The
batter
fried
fish
was
a
bit
tough
and
dried
out.
And
the
peel
and
eat
shrimp
was
just
a
waste.
The
server
loaded
up
my
plate
and
unfortunately
all
but
one
of
the
20+
pieces
ended
up
in
the
crableg
shell
bucket,
uneaten.
Shrimp
is
supposed
to
be
tender
and
crisp
when
you
bite
into
it.
This
shrimp
was
overdone!
It
was
tough.
The
best
way
to
describe
the
consistency
and
texture
was
to
compare
it
to
chicken
breast.
Shrimp
aficionados
know
that's
just
wrong!
That's
a
sigh
of
overcooked
shrimp
protein.
A
pitty
really.
It
was
OK
to
come
here
once,
but
with
so
many
better
options,
I
don't
need
to
pay
the
premium
of
a
casino
based
buffet
anyway.
All
in
all
we
did
feel
a
bit
ripped
of
for
over
$90
(gave
the
waitress
a
$10
tip)
