Just ok. I like that they did their own take on a Crunchwrap, but overall the food was just a little lackluster. They have a salsa bar, but you kinda need it because the food didn’t have a ton of flavor. Yes, it’ll fill you up with good portions, but overall not great. Nothing bad, just nothing great. I feel like you could find a better Mexican restaurant for the price especially.

Though the atmosphere is nice and relax I personally feel it was not very welcoming experience. Food was good I recommend the enchiladas or the burrito, perfect to combine with their selection of sauces. If you don't eat much you will absolutely get enough food to share without a doubt. Good prices, we spend $35 in total one thing I liked a lot is that they have fountain soda with free refills this days that seems to be harder and harder to find.

I cannot believe I stuffed the enchilada down and swallowed it whole but it was worth every bite. This place is part fast food, part beach side taco stand but it is pretty good. My Green Enchilada was packed with freshly diced chicken. The restaurant offers a variety of very tasty sauces ranging from green verde to hot. And they offer freshly brewed tea which washes the enchilada down well. Restaurant staff are super friendly and service is reasonably fast. This is a great place if you want something quick, but do not want to go to the more institutionalized fast food joints.

Excellent place for Mexican food. Ambience - it’s a small place with limited parking lots with outdoor seating too. Each table is fully sanitized , cleaned and topped with chille sauce and napkins. Service - A warm welcome from the staff when we enter into the restaurant and made us to walk to make an order. People are so happy and friendly. Food - ordered couple of chicken tacos plates and a chicken quesadilla. Everything was delicious and fresh. Really love to repeat this place .

Surprised they weren't busy. Got my usual Benito with black beans and chicken. Order a side of queso with green salsa Verde and fresh cilantro. Awesome try it sometime!

I was so impressed with the freshness of the food and the delicious taste. There are so many Mexican style restaurants to choose from in the fort Lauderdale area but this restaurant had such a charming environment extremely friendly front desk employee and I can't say enough about the food quality. It is definitely a new favorite neighborhood restaurant that impressed all of us that dined there. Casual and charming and delicious.

Taco Tuesday is a great deal. 2 Tacos, chips and salsa AND a beer for 6.99. Had to get a second round. I mean how can you beat that. Service is good. Friendly faces and hard workers. It can get busy with the deal but it's worth the wait.

Not consistent.. I believe they go through a lot cooks... but we like going there for tacos and burritos.. there stuff is always fresh..

Granted this is a fast fresh restaurant and not gourmet dining but for what it is I enjoyed it. Food seems fresh and I like that they give you chips free with the meal and there is a salsa bar running from hot to mild sauces. You can also order beer with your meal.

A group of friends headed over to The Whole Enchilada for mid-week dinner and everyone loved their meal. I ordered the Tree Hugger burrito which included Tofu, Mexican Rice, Black Or Pinto Beans, Jack & Cheddar Cheese, Pico De Gallo, Lettuce, Avocado. It was very good and quite large. My partner ordered the Fajita Quesadilla with Grilled flour or whole wheat tortilla, filled with roasted peppers & onions, jack & cheddar cheese, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo on the side. He loved the dish. One of our friends and our brother ordered the Cheeseburger Chimichanga with a Flour tortilla filled with ground beef, mexican rice, pinto beans, grilled onion, jack & cheddar cheese, avocado, covered with jack, cheddar & cotija cheese, and smothered in queso. topped with pico de gallo. He said it was amazing. One ordered the Fajita Quesadilla with Grilled flour or whole wheat tortilla, filled with roasted peppers & onions, jack & cheddar cheese, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo on the side and enjoyed that dish as well. Service was excellent and we sat outside enjoying the warm weather. Very good Mexican food. Loved the Tofu.

Really enjoyed the salsa bar, especially the mango salsa. Fish tacos wee good. Service a bit slow. Nice outdoor seating area.

Wow, I wanted a change of food today. Came back to the U.S.A. and was craving Mexican food. Hilarious 😂. Well, this place didn't disappoint me at all. I had the tostado salad with beef. It literally was too much to eat in one sitting, but I was headed to the airport, and unfortunately, I couldn't finish my meal. I will be back again to try some other dishes. My sister had some type of shrimp meal, and my dad had a chicken Burrito meal without the skin. Sorry guys but I can't remember the exact names of the meals. Hope you hit like.

Mid. So many other places worth checking out. The location down street much better. Wouldn't recommend.

I am giving it a 3 star because it used to be a 5 star amazing fast casual but now it’s a 1 star. The food used to be really good. However, it seems they recent they got all new staff and a new menu. I use to come here at least once a week. However the last two times were horrible! The street corn is canned corn. It has no taste. The tacos were smaller than a Taco Bell regular taco. I really hope management sees this and makes the proper adjustments. Not sure I will eat here again..

Went for lunch. Staff were nice and attentive but the tacos were poor! A taco is a Mexican restaurants signature dish, get it right! Won't be back.

Did not enjoy my chicken nachos. not sure what kind of tortillas they use but it was a complete mess. I ordered shrimp to go with it and of course there wasn't any to be found. Such a rip off. I'd think twice about spending your money here. As a first time customer I am very disappointed in this disaster you call a meal.

I Uber eat two tacos with a drink. First I didn’t even get a straw and my tacos had nothing on it. No cheese no tomato no lettuce absolutely nothing but meat in a shell. So thankful I was reimbursed highly dissatisfied.

Been coming here for the last 10 years since we bought our place and just love it. Worth every penny and the kids love it too.

I was a bit disappointed in this place. I've been to two other Whole Enchilada locations and this is the only one that is a self serve style, meaning no waiters. The food came out quick but was very "Americanized", not necessarily bad but far from authentic. The atmosphere is unpleasant, as you here all the cars passing by on US1.

(This is an edit to my previous 5 ⭐ review.) This location used to be great. Great like we would order take out more than once a week. Lately, the service has been poor at best and the food prep is very inconsistent. One time you can have thick, delicious queso. The next time, it's the consistency of water. Same thing with the dressings and salsas. During our last visit, the counter person was nothing short of rude, again. I doubt we will be back. I'm sure we will be able to find another restaurant to spend $70-80 a week without the attitude. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Always good. And they have a special everyday that includes chips and a drink (bonus: they have one of those Coke multi-flavor machines so you can make lots of fun drinks). The salsa bar is the best. My bf is partial to the Happy Gilmore and the mango salsa. I love the verde, roasted tomato, and Pico salsa. Taco Tuesday is two tacos, chips, and a drink for $8.99. Yesssssssss!

It's hard to classify any restaurant as cheap these days, but Whole Enchilada is a decent value for the price you pay. Limited seating includes outside picnic tables under a canopy that provides a nice, casual atmosphere. I've never had to wait long for my food and always pleased with the burritos.

Yummy food - great eating challenge opportunity as well. I had the pork burrito, was very good. Wife had enchiladas - she said they were delicious. The salsa verde from the salsa bar was sweet but not too sweet. I recommend checking it out.

Great place for some tacos and burritos. Gotta go on Tuesday and get the two taco and Mexican beer for $7.99. Plenty of salsa and hot sauce options as well.
