I've been a huge fan of Tobu for years. Their sushi is top notch, and the service always comes with a smile. I've yet to find better sushi in the Coral Springs/Margate area. If you're a spicy tuna fan, look no further than their Kamikaze Roll; it's a game-changer.

Tobu Thai & Sushi in Coral Springs is a family owned & operated business. You should try them sometime if you’re in the area. You’ll love them, I guaranteed it! Our good friends, Oakie and his lovely wife Ying, are one of the nicest people you’ll meet. I’ve been going there since 2009. Never disappoints. Don’t like sushi? It’s ok, they have other “non-sushi” (non-fish items) on their menu. Just tell Oakie what you’d like, and he will make it for you. I told him that I didn’t want the carbs, so he made this “sushi lettuce wraps” for me. 3 different rolls! He is the best. Tell Them Carlos sent you!

We walked in and walked right out because it was empty and looks like… idk, not great. With that, we discussed it and went back in and gave them a chance and are happy we did. Very good food, very nice people. Will go back again. I think they should probably look into an upgrade of the dining room situation. We can’t be the first family to have that reaction.

Delicious food, the chicken fried rice, and sushi rolls were delicious. Great customer service, very polite. Great atmosphere. All for a great deal. 10/10 would recommend. Don’t forget to get some Thai donuts for dessert!!!!

Had a fantastic date night with my wife here. The sushi was amazingly fresh and tasted wonderful. Our appetizers were obviously freshly cooked and tasted amazing. The service was attentive and made us feel extremely welcome. This will easily become a go to for future date nights

Second ordering it in 1 week! My new favorite sushi place after moving from Miami to Coral Springs. They are amazing with the accommodations since I am pregnant with the rolls. I can’t wait to try all the rolls after my pregnancy! I always get the Turtle Run roll and the Kanisu for now. The rolls are big and filling and taste fresh! This place is hands down the best sushi in Broward County. I've eaten here many times and it's consistently fantastic. I've never had a bad experience. It's a small family owned and operated place, so much of the food is made to order, even things like the crab Rangoon. It's all delicious and the family is sweet, it's fresh, great prices. This place should be the top sushi restaurant anywhere.

If I could give them a lower rating I would. They have a no dine inside on the front window with a line underneath. They told me that I have to ask to dine in without any knowledge of having the ability to do so. The food is low quality. The staff is rude and delusional. I've never written a bad review but by far I will never visit this dumpster fire of a Thai place. I want Google to check the account for the reviews for bots. Maybe you should a "13 years loyal *dog* i mean customer if you want decent service". Don't go here. Just go to publix for better sushi. Looking forward to their failed mistake of a reply. AVOID THIS PLAGUED RESTAURANT AT ALL COST. BETTER EATING DOG FOOD.

Visited this restaurant with my parents a week ago and I just wish we knew not to even step foot into this dirty restaurant. I understand that there are staff shortages but the lady who served us had a horrible attitude. Anyways onto the food we ordered he shrimp padthai and when it arrived at our table it literally smelt like dog food I literally wanted to throw up. Anywhoo, we did pay money so I took my chances and ate it well I had to go to the bathroom immediately after. I brought home some food for my husband who refused to eat it because of the scent so I knew I wasn't alone. I am so shocked this business is still in business because the service and food was horrible, NEVER RETURNING.

Hidden gem! Some of the best sushi in South Florida. Spring rolls to die for. Everything incredibly fresh. The owner is the chef and his sweet wife serves the tables. One of our favs.

Placed a phone order, went to pick it up and was greeted with a smile. Verified my order was correct and asked if I needed anything else. I ordered the combo fried rice extra spicy and it was extra spicy as ordered. The rice was good, large portion so much that I'll have the rest for lunch. Nice mom and pop style place I recommend trying.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years. I love it so much that after moving to Port Saint Lucie, I still some times make the drive to pick up my favorite sushi. It’s always fresh and never dry. The staff are incredible and know me just by my order. They are friendly and extremely accommodating and thank me repeatedly for visiting. I will continue to make the trip for my favorite sushi in all of south Florida.

Ordered a red dragon roll and a spicy tuna. The spicy tuna roll was horrible and I had to throw it away. The red dragon roll was mediocre at best. There’s something off about this place. I only went there because of the high stars but was terribly disappointed. Won’t go back to try the Thai food. Go at your own risk!

When we first walked in I was a bit skeptical. It was pretty empty and no one greeted us for a good 2 min. But we gave it a shot. After we sat down we realized oh! There is only 3 ppl here. It's the husband and wife (assuming) and a server. And yet they were cranking out to go orders like mad. Our server was very pleasant and we were helped several times by the owner lady. Ok now for the food: I ordered a sushi dinner and man oh man was I pleasently surprised! The fish was super fresh and melted in my mouth. The rice was nice and sweet. It was a perfect combo. My friend got the cashnew but chicken and was not very happy. He said the sauce was too watery, the chicken was doused in the sauce but because there was no thickness the min you ate the chicken the flavor was gone. My only comments would be PLEASE fix your tables! They are so wobbly! I don't know about my friend but I will sure be back from some more sushi goodness.

I visit this place a lot since I work nearby. I love how the service is always fantastic and they keep the place clean consistently. Rates are reasonable and they serve large portions.

Sushi is decent/good. Good size rolls and fish seems fresh. The knock on this place is that there's only one server and one sushi chef, service can get very slow very fast. Seems family owned and operated. They will go above and beyond when the service is slow and offer you freebies.

I celebrated my nomination this evening in this fine place. Well we had a great evening and the place was clearly one of the reasons for the successful meeting. The waiters participated in a sweet way, the cooking was delicious and my guests were so joyful. We shall definitely come back again for more celebrations. Thank you very much.

I love Thai and Sushi. I understand that some variations on Thai are closer to traditional Thai than others. I try to cut Thai restaurants slack that way. Tobu is one of those places that I don't see myself revisiting. The music was competing with the television, making an unpleasant audio background. The smell from the Chicken Pad Thai and Chicken Pad See Ewe was revolting. (That can happen if you use too much lime juice or fish sauce.) The service is mediocre, if friendly. The experience had me wishing for Thai restaurants a stone's throw from here. The sushi roll was at least passable. Overall, it's the least satisfying dining experience I've had in a long time. Not recommended.

Tried this place in the past with my friend and I am obsessed ever since. I like the fantastic ambience and fresh food and drinks. 5 stars from me.

Have never actually be inside the restaurant but order from them at least, at least once every two weeks and the quality has always been great. My husband has a crab allergy and they have always paid attention to instruction in regards to subbing imitation crab for the snow crab in the rolls. Delivery was always wearily except for one time but they also gave us a free dessert with a hand written apology for being late. Will hopefully go in for a meal one day but happy with everything when it comes to delivery from them!

I meet friends in this restaurant quite often! This is my favorite restaurant to to have a good dinner. I go there regularly. The food is fantastic, the team is welcoming and the prices are fair. I like meeting in this restaurant over a rich meal.
