Love this place! Rarely you walk into a place where you can tell the owners love it too but I bet this is one of them. Stopped in a moment's thought with my wife, we got a falafel and a eggplant pita and LOVED IT! Will be our place to stop by a lot more often!!!

Hummus House was a great Mediterranean restaurant. Place looks good inside and was very clean. Had the falafel platter with a side of some of the hottest sauce I've ever tried. Everything was great.

This is my new favorite lunch spot! The food is so fresh and delicious, completely wholesome and nourishing. Everything is so well seasoned and flavorful, very satisfying despite the deceptive looking small portions. Inside the cafe is super cute, and there is also a beautiful outdoor deck area onto the water. Slightly on the pricey side, but worth every cent, some of the best food I've had in a long time. Would absolutely recommend and can't wait to go back!

Just had lunch at The Hummus House and it was such a lovely experience. The service was great, the inside of the restaurant is very cute, the Falafel pita I had was DELICIOUS and the waterfront seating was an unexpected pleasant surprise. Can’t wait to go back :)

Little restaurant with lots of vegan and vegetarian options. We had chickpea sambusak and two hummus bowls with spicy "beef". Food was good but the amount of hummus in each bowl is huge and very difficult to eat. Better option is to share or go for a pita instead. Only a few tables outside if you are worried about seating indoors. Staff super friendly. Bathroom very clean.

NO MASK NOR GLOVES!!! SHOUTING ON TOP OF FOOD! Have always loved this spot. Unfortunately that has changed. Walked in to pick up my phone order when I notice that the owner did not have a mask on and gloves while packing three orders. Mind you the register is tiny and she’s breathing and talking on top of the open air fries as she receives it from the window to the kitchen. She also had her thumb inside the cup of fries for all the orders. I let the first one slide by but was uneasy. She then had her thumb in the other orders including mine. When I told her I have to cancel due to a high risk in my home which I cannot risk that, she did not care and got mad and gave me a huge attitude. She told the chef who was also gloveless and maskless and he came out like he wanted the smoke. Virus can travel in droplets and can affect the vaccinated, If careful about COVID-19 do not come!!!!

Came across this nice little casual restaurant tucked away behind Gateway Plaza around the corner from Sunrise on the Middle River. Delicious food and great ambiance. Felt like I was in the old city of Jaffa eating falafel next to the Mediterranean. Thumbs up on the Hummus bowls- both the "Chicken" and "Beef" Shwarma were delicious and I especially enjoyed the mint lemonade. 👍

The vegan choices here are simply tasty and well crafted. This is a little hidden gem, with great customer service. The lemonade is the BEST drink ever for this Florida hot humid weather. It is REFRESHING. Last, buy not least the restaurant is just minutes from the beach. Great location!

By far the best lawful I've ever tasted. Hard and crunchy on the outside and still soft and tender on the inside. We enjoyed the Jerusalem platter and the Eggplant hummus bowl. The spicy sauce that comes on the side is not to be underestimated! The pita bread was fluffy tender and fresh. I can't wait to come back in the winter and enjoy their outside patio seating on the intracoastal.

Found this place on Google maps and decided to eat here. The food was really good! The guy recommended to me that I should get the falafels as that's what was best in store, in his opinion. For reference, I'm from the New York City area, and these falafels were some of the best I've ever had! They had a crunchy shell, but they were nice and soft on the inside. 100% would recommend anyone coming here get the falafels. I got the falafel platter and it came with plenty of food (see photos attached)

Hummus House is a culinary gem that transcends dietary preferences, offering a delightful fusion of Mediterranean flavors in a vegan paradise. As a meat eater myself, frequenting this restaurant has been an eye-opening and delicious experience. The standout mint lemonade is a refreshing symphony of flavors, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience. Its zesty and invigorating taste perfectly complements the vibrant and authentic Mediterranean dishes served here. The impressive part isn't just the stellar beverages but also the incredible range of savory meals and delectable desserts. From falafel wraps bursting with flavor to sumptuous mezze platters and tantalizingly aromatic tagines, each dish is a testament to the restaurant's commitment to exquisite taste and culinary excellence. What truly surprised me, as a meat eater, was the fact that I never felt the absence of meat in any of the dishes. The flavors were rich, satisfying, and hearty, proving that vegan cuisine can be just as savory and fulfilling as traditional meals. Moreover, the desserts at Hummus House deserve special mention; they're simply divine. With an array of different pastries, they redefine what it means to enjoy guilt-free indulgence.

Solid hummus spot. The hummus, pita, and falafel are great. The lemonana (mint lemonade) was very refreshing. Pretty authentic Israeli food for outside of Israel. Would definitely recommend and come back. Nice outdoor seating area as well.

First things first, their food was good! I ordered the beyond burger, BBQ "chicken" wrap, and the cauliflower appetizer. For the cauliflower, I didn't particularly enjoy the seasoning used on it. Everything else, was good! Parking is hard to find but there are a few spots along the road. They do have tables and window seating inside. I took my order to go, but they do have a back area next to the water where you can sit and enjoy your food. The lady who took my order was really nice! I will be back to try other things on their menu and to sit down and enjoy my meal!

WOW…I actually did not know this place was vegan when I walked in. First we were greeted by David who helped us explore the menu and narrow down the choices all with a big smile and amazing attitude. Keep him. Food was absolutely delicious, every bite was flavorful and tasty!! Highly recommend this restaurant to all vegan & Mediterranean lovers!

I got the Mediterranean platter and it was such a well-balanced dish with flavor in every bite! The falafel was crisp, the Israeli pickles were delightful, and wow the tahini on top of the hummus!! I ate my lunch in the back on the water and it was so peaceful on (even on a Saturday afternoon!) The gentleman who took my order was very patient and kind! Thank you!

Stumbled upon the Hummus House and decided to eat here with my sister. We got the Falafel platter & it was so delicious + refreshing! The restaurant’s cleanliness and the staff’s friendliness & hospitality made this experience more memorable. We ate in the outside waterfront area which is so cute btw :) I am not from the area & live 2 hours away but the food + the cute setup makes me want to return soon.

All vegetarian with vegan options. Nice boho space, and there's even some outdoor seatingon the Intracoastal. Free street parking (no parking lot). My go-to dish is the Falafel platter. It's gorgeous (see pic), so colorful and fresh tasting. You can help yourself to water near the front door. I've had the falafel platter to-go and it's just as lovely.

100% of the menu is vegetarian. It’s absolutely awesome. We ordered the meatless chicken shawarma and it was so tasty! Not sure why people say it’s expensive. It’s super fair price.

Popped in after a nail appt around 2:45 - def slow inside at this time but looked like many to go orders were going out. Inside clean and service was quick :) eggplant 🍆 bowl was enough for two so maybe ask for an additional pita 🫓- crispy calliflower also yummy. The green sauce added on the side is quite hot / spicy 🌶️

Pure bliss! This is a chic outlet that serves vegan Mediterranean cuisine. Dishes are quite wholesome, everything was prepared fresh and presentation was on point. We ordered the following : 1. Hummus Bowl - Meatless Kabob 2. Hummus Platter - Falafel 3. Chickpea Sambousa 4. Halva 5. Frozen Limonada Hummus was superb- super creamy and light. If you are around Fort Lauderdale don't miss out on this amazing experience.

Wonderful hidden gem. Tiny little place with loads of charm. Nice menu, with plenty to choose from. Friendly service. A must-visit for vegetarians, and a great place for anyone who isn't but want to try to a meatless meal and see how easy it is to enjoy some great food. Will be back.

I’m not vegan, which didn’t matter. The hummus bowl was delicious, I like the option to add toppings! I also took a slice of halva when I came to pick up the order 👍🏻

The food was really nice. We tried Shakshuka, pita, falafel and baked cauliflower. The lemon drink was refreshing in hot sun. We dint like the desert much, so don't recommend that. The staff is courteous and serves with a smile 😊
