My family and I were just at this church for a funeral service for our beloved grandfather. I was not impressed or happy with the priest, Bob. I felt his sermon was inappropriate and not heartfelt at all. When talking about the eucharist he went too far, speaking about tearing into quivering flesh on our plates with our incisors. When it was time to take part in communion he went so far as to question a member of our party that had their arms crossed as to why they aren’t taking part, which is personal and none of his business. He was almost forcing it ion people. He was reluctant to let two members of our family sing a song during the mass for our grandfather, saying something along the lines of that he would pull the plug if they weren’t good. He took every opportunity he could to beg people to come to be a part of the church, which I understand to a certain extent but at a funeral service, I feel like that is insensitive to the members of our family that are non religious. Even at the gravesite he told us that he “better see our butts in those pews”. We do not fault or judge the members of our family or our friends for their choice to have religion or not and they did not need to be made to feel bad on the day we buried our grandfather/brother/husband. Furthermore, during the burial he called the deceased’s wife the wrong name, TWICE and referred to my grandfather as “she” and “our sister”. I felt like there was little respect from the priest and his pompous ego was a bit too much for the sad day we were all experiencing.

I am sadly disappointed at the officiation of my father's funeral by Father Bob. He spoke nothing of my father's accomplishments and focused only on irrelevant and grotesque analogies of eating Christ's flesh. He used the audience to try and further the growth of his church at a time when it was completely inappropriate. To add insult to injury he called my mother the wrong name, TWICE, at the cemetary and he ended the graveside service by telling us all that those who live locally, "better have your butts in seats at my church on Sunday." I could not have been more horrified or disgusted at the way he conducted himself and insulted my grieving mother along with the rest of the family.

I am in a lower income bracket, and have 2 young children living with me. My daughter overdosed, and I took my grandchildren in, so as not to have them go through the system. Pat is the wonderful woman, distribites food to low income,, and homeless families.. who stands out in the hot sun, every Friday to give food to families in need. We'll, this time was the most horrific experience I've ever had, at any church, that . I have a friend in town, on vacation, from Indiana, and he was kind enough to drive me to the church, par on the side, and wait for me, as I am a walk up. I don't own a car, and take 2 busses to get there. She came stamping over to the car, when we pulled up, and started accusing me of, basically, taking from church. I would never do that, nor would I ever, disrespect a person, the way she distesped me. I will not tolerate being accused of something I haven't done. There was a woman, older than myself, who asked if I wanted some of her items, being she didn't use them, and didn't want them to go to waste. She flowed me to the car with those items. I graciously thanked her, and we went on our way. I have called the church to speak with The priest, and have been told to call Monday his direct line. I have also called Fort Lauderdale, Broward Archdiocese. The last calli made was to the better business bureau. I know the church is funded by the county/state for the beautiful sanctuary they have there. It's truly a wonderful place for wildlife to feel safe. I will not stop, until I get an apology, for her horrific behavior. No Christian, I know speaks to another human being, like she spoke to me. She also mad certain go tell me, she would not serve me today, if my friend from Indiana, didn't get on the car line. I have never been so embarrassed to be a part of the cathic family, as I was today. Something needs to be done. I have seen her treat walk up horribly, and never thought I would be one of them. I've treated her with kindness and respect ALWAYS. I would hope something is done immediately. My family in New York, are looking into other things for me to follow up with. That is to be sure, she is held liable for her horrible actions. I have never taken anything extra, and have said often, to please keep that extra bread or cream, for someone else, who may need it more. Thank you for all the help that your church has given me. I hope to still be able to come on Fridays. One more thing I've noticed. She picks and chooses who gets cards from Publix, and McDonald's. She has denied me a couple of times, and given the person behind me one, stating she had no more.... Not very Christian of her. Please address this situation. I'm putting this out all over media, if it isn't addressed in a timely manor. I spent the last hour crying because, I could Not understand, what I had done wrong... Kim Carfagno. I've been coming for 1 year, and couldn't have made it, without the help from your wonderful chirch

I visited Blessed Sacrament for the funeral of my best friend. Other than that I am very dispondent about setting foot in a Catholic Church. Especially this one. The hell I was put through in that school. I'm glad they tore it down. The nuns should be ashamed of themselves. I know G_d would not approve of their behavior.

I called father Bob for advice and help in a situation where only the words of god is what you wanted to hear and only hear it to help me or guide me through the situation my family and I are going through. I thought a father a priest wouldn’t deny help or the words of god to a family looking for help or to anyone but I was wrong father bob denied my family and I the help we need just because he didn’t know us and we didn’t go to the church ? How is that possible ? My family and I have been to that church multiple times with are good friend Norma and her family and we thought father bob was such a nice priest but we was wrong everything father bob does in mass is all act he showed his true colors yesterday and like it says in the Bible — Luke 6:38, NIV In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” But sadly we were rejected and didn’t get the helping hand we were asking for I truly hope that father bob knows he is doing wrong and asked for forgiveness I’m never going back to this church nor recommending this church to no one.

Father Bob is a great and true priest that defends the truths of the Church and is always very friendly and energetic. He is a great example of a godly man and a true servant of the Lord, best church around by far if you are someone that wants to get soaked in a real and alive Catholic faith.

This church has many staff and parishioners who are doing wonderful things for those in need and the community as a whole. They make you feel like you belong and are a member of their loving family. God Bless them all.

They really contribute to good mental health by providing good old fashion love unconditionally ...and they are just on the other side of the bridge separating the beach.

I have gone to this church for food. Every Friday the volunteers hand out bags of food: can and jar items, veg's, meats, bread, eggs, milk. Toiletries. Evan pet food if they have it. All their food is donated to the church from grocery stores like Public's, Walmart, Whole Foods and other stores. You can go every other Friday to get food but do remember you should ask for the pet food n toiletries once you get up to the hand out door/window. Bring something with your name and address like a bill or rent receipt,. Photo ID, only need it the first time you sign up after that just come every other Friday. Enjoy .

Great church, it’s helped me through some tough times and fed my family when I was out of work. The adjacent park is a great place for the kids and I to walk around and enjoy fresh air. Father bob has always spoken kindly and helped me and my family.
