The temple construction is based on Dravidian style of architecture. The main attraction of the temple is a single black stone carved statues of 24 feet height Veera Anjaneya Swamy and 29 feet long Garutmantha Swamy. There is a temple for Garuda within the temple complex which is of 30 ft tall, 15 ft wide and 6 ft thickness. Five Akhanda Deepas are present in five-storied building.

Renowned temple in the town of Ponnuru. Veeranjaneya's statue is majestic with 24ft tall and 12ft wide. There are 6 other temples in the premises. You need to purchase an entrance fee to visit all the 7 temples. It is clean and well maintained. You'll spend 1-2 hours. While walking around during peak afternoon, it becomes slightly challenging to walk barefoot, as the ground is very hot! Street hawkers and chappal stand (Rs. 5 per pair) is within the complex. Laddoo Prasad (Rs.15) is available. Parking is on road side. We went on a week day, so hardly there was a crowd.

Must visit temple with great history But I felt it's getting too commercialized because of people who are near the entrance of garba gudi and who are passing on comments at devotees. There is a board near the entrance which days free darshan but these people say we need entrance ticket and shouting at people who are entering without a ticket. Temple committee should intervene and clearly throw these people out and define a clear process to people are visiting here . If everyone has to buy a ticket let it be clear . And cherry on the cake - they accept only cash and no one knows where this money going As a Hindu I was worried want will happen to the experience at temples due to these kind of people

If you are visiting in the evening then do not miss out the harathi which is given around 7:45pm that is closing time. The vibe itself is different during the harathi time.

Ponnuru Aanjaneya Swamy Temple is a very very famous temple in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. In this temple Lord Hanuman statue is too tall and the god is in standing position and offers his blessings to crores of devotees. It is one of the rare and famous temple in our country also. There are so many temples in the coping of Hanuman temple. Sahasra koti lingam.Thousand Lord Siva lingams are located here with a very big Nandi facing towards Mahadev.
