Absolutely amazing food! Highly recommend for your weekend getaway in the mountains of Dominica 🇩🇲. Plus there selling vegetables & handcrafted bush rum pepper sauce.

Best meal we had in Dominica. When you arrive they walk you through the day’s menu written on several chalkboards. They have a large variety of starters, mains, and desserts focused around ingredients that are local to the island. The food was fantastic. They are only open for lunch a few days a week. Plan your trip so you can make a visit — it will be worth it!

We came here as a family. First impression was good so we settled down. We didn't have a réservation and our Kids were really hungry. As we had some discussion with our Kids about staying or leaving - it took a few minutes until we finally decided to stay. We then ordered. The waitress came to make up the table. She was giving my kids a very angry view when they started to move the cuttlery not the way she put it. As my son stood up to walk to the balcony the owner (i guess) told us, that we should tell our son to sit down. That was the moment we just didnt feel welcome anymore. The waitress didn't have any smile for us and the 2-3 things we asked for seemed to be a burden. We ordered sparkling water and got still water. As the table was pretty packed when the sidedishes arrived, she did not even wait for me to make some space!!!! She simply but the little bowl on top of my cuttlery (which was perfectly in place where it belonged to!)!!!! The food was really amazing!!! The restaurant without staff beautiful... No card payment - only Cash!!! Thats for the 2 Stars. If you have a restaurant and you don't want to have familys as guests. Please send them away. I know some Kids behave like angels... Some dont... Even as a parent you never know for every day. We dont use ipads to entertain our kids to keep them still!

The atmosphere is so relaxing… feels like you’re having lunch at a hidden gem.. the sweet mountain breeze flows right thru the restaurant to keep you at the perfect temperature; you’re surrounded by beautiful plants. I enjoyed the Octopus in Creole sauce as my appetizer, the Sirloin Steak w/ Forestiere sauce and Green Cocoy Fries as my Entree, and it was a burst of pure flavor and eyes rolling back behind my head joy for me!

This amazing lunch experience definitely took us by surprise: We would have never expected such delicious and fresh food in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by nature. We were super lucky since we turned up on a Sunday afternoon on our last day on Dominica without reservation, and the restaurant owner managed to offer us a table to not miss out on this great experience. Thank you again - we would love to come back with a little bit more time to try all the other tasty surprises 😋, next time with booking a table ahead.

Don't let the name fool you, it can be quite misleading, but this is fine french food.. Everything was exquisite, and by far the best coffee on the island. Not cheap but well worth it no doubt. Culinary experience 💯

Overvalued & rude treatment After all the good reviews we read from expats, we decided to try this place and made a reservation. Firstly, we experienced extremely rude service. We were initially received by the French owner who had a bit too much of know-it-all and slightly on the nose arrogant attitude throughout our stay. Also did not appreciate that the first thing he asked me is where I am from (instead of actually welcoming me to his restaurant) and then he made a not nice comment about people from my country not being well travelled. Maybe not everyone has the means to travel! I decided to let this slip as we wanted to have a good time. We had the mains of the day which were fish curry and rabbit. They were good. For that I am giving the two stars. For desert we ordered chocolate cake with mascarpone. And there was no mascarpone, but the cake was with artificial whipped cream from the bottle. With store bought caramel? sauce on top. For a desert costing USD 12 (!!), you cannot serve whipped cream from the bottle. And also call it mascarpone… It needs to be homemade, the cream, the sauces, everything. When I asked the lady waitress where was the mascarpone with the cake (like it was advertised), she scoffed and rolled her eyes. I find those two gestures very rude, especially in front of customers. At the end when she was picking up our desert plate, she asked bluntly if she shall bring us the bill, like she wanted to get rid of us. Normally you ask firstly if you can get customers anything else and then you offer the bill (especially since I told her previously that I will be ordering another juice later on). But with that blunt question, I decided not to and just go. During our 9 days stay on the island (we ate out every day), this is the only place where the service was so rude. Hoping this can improve.

Holy moly, this is a must-visit in Dominica. A truly wonderful dining (and drinking) experience from the time we walked in to the moment we left with extraordinarily happy, full bellies. The attention given to every guest upon arrival and throughout the *outstanding* meal is really special. The cocktails - perfection. The food - still dreaming about the warm goat cheese & red pepper & seared tuna. Make a reservation and have what’s probably the best lunch on the island.

Notre meilleure expérience en Dominique. Tout était bon avec un bon dosage des épices et bien présenté. Nous y repasserons si nous revenons en Dominique. Merci encore avec un super accueil de Jacques et félicitations à son épouse en cuisine.

The most amazing meal in Dominica. Open 4 days a week for lunch only, you will not be disappointed. Fresh, delicious, amazing service, it can’t be beat.

A truly wonderful experience and we were delighted to be able to enjoy our lunch with such a talented chef. everything is organic and grown on their own farm. The table water, which is sourced from a spring high up in the mountains. I highly recommend incorporating this restaurant into your trip to the different waterfalls in Dominica.

My partner and I came here after a morning of scuba diving and before visiting the emerald pools. We arrived hungry and left extremely satisfied! The food was delicious, we had tuna tartar to start which was fantastic, we then had a seafood special and grilled snapper with green pepper sauce. Both were exquisite. The food was fresh and the flavour fantastic. We also enjoyed a lovely bottle of picpoul and it was nice to have some French wine with such great food. The owner and waitress were friendly and welcoming, the views and atmosphere were lovely! It's cash only and I would recommend bringing more than you think you need as everything is so delicious!

All 10 stars. Owner/Manager was extremely friendly. Broke down the menu and choices for us. Not pictured was a stuffed crab back we received and it was creamy and buttery (not as expectant) but paired extremely well with the garlic bread. The sweet potatoes were friend to a perfect crisp. Extremely decadent!!! Worth the price. worth the drive.

Stopped in for lunch while passing through. We did not have a reservation, but the owner welcomed us, and sat us immediately. The service was fast, and very good! The dishes were next level, best food we have had on the island by far! The yellowfin with jerk sauce was the best yellowfin tuna I have ever had without a doubt! 10/10 recommend!

Marvelous! The food, the cocktails, the ambience, the location… everything is perfect. You should definitely try to come here, maybe on the way from one end of Dominica to the other. Or on your way to or from the airport.

Waouh.

Delicious little gem found on the way to Emerald Pool. The food was amazing and the view of the waterfall from the high peak made this even more spectacular!

Went to Zeb Zepis for the very first time yesterday and wasn’t disappointed at all. I had a steak and octopus meal and although I am not a steak lover, I truly enjoyed it. I just love the presentation but most especially the delicious items on the menu and will most definitely return again and again… I also got to meet the artist whose painting of the hummingbird hangs on the wall, so nice to talk to. 5 stars!!!

Me and my family who have Dominican ties where visiting from Bermuda and stumbled on this gem of a restaurant. The food was decadence at its best. The owner who has French and Dominican ties was charming and informative. The atmosphere was something out of a fairytale setting. I give it a 10 out of 10 and recommend it to anyone who enjoys fine dining. I don't drink alcohol but they have a variety of mixed drinks and cocktails to enjoy and a winery to die for. So if ever in Dominica stop by. I promise you you won't be disappointed.
