Starting with the Ruben guide, which is great (best guide ever). The quads are in great condition and the ride is wonderful. The views are breathtaking. I can’t recommend it enough

👍👍 The only winery on São Miguel. It's a must to visit them if you'd like to learn more about the history of wine on São Miguel. Ricardo explained everything very thoroughly in English and assisted us in wine tasting. You can also buy wine which they produce (much more affordable price than in shops)....

👍👍 Enchanting. Especially if you're lucky enough for the clouds roll over while you're there! Be sure to drive/walk past the first arches to reach the actual aqueduct further down the road - beautiful!

Torre do Relógio ou Torre Sineira

👍👍 Ein toller Aussichtspunkt mitten in der Stadt. Der Aufgang liegt hinter einem unscheinbaren Eingang, wo ein Mitarbeiter auf den Teppenaufstieg verweist. Zum Schluss wird es sehr eng, die Breite der Treppe wird auf 40-50 cm angegeben. Daher vorher genau überlegen, ob das für einen persönlich klappt.
