I wouldn’t even give this gym 1 star. I started my membership back February 15th, my partner and I went to work out a total of 4 times within a week. I unfortunately was laid off my job February 28th and I called to cancel my membership. Well, for some reason my membership was never canceled so I asked them again to cancel it. They tried to charge me 153.88. I did not mind to pay for the month, but they were trying to charge me a membership fee. I was there less than a month, so I tried to speak with the manager on the matter, he was very unprofessional and has zero customer service. This gym is a scam and I would never go to another planet fitness. Here I am two months later and they are still trying to charge my account. I have never dealt with such an incompetent company.

The gym is always dirty now, the bathrooms are dirty, the equipment is dusty. The floors are dirty. Several pieces of equipment are broke. It's gone completely down the past couple months. There is never anyone at the front desk in the mornings.

Wow…SO happy that I joined Planet Fitness on Atlantic Blvd!  I decided to get serious about getting more fit & Planet Fitness has certainly been helping me.  It’s a great facility with lots of equipment& several group training sessions.  The entire team has been very helpful.  I worked with James to develop an exercise plan and targets.  I hadn’t used equipment in several years & James made sure that my form was solid on all of the equipment in my exercise plan.  I just achieved all of my goals for my 1st 2 month plan & we’re working on the next 2 months.  James is very knowledgeable and developed a plan to support torn meniscus in both of my knees.  He also leads great Stretch sessions.  I’ve had noticeable improvement in my flexibility.  I recently tried Andrew’s shoulder stretch & back/hip stretch sessions...both great.  Everyone behind the front desk has been helpful. Miranda went above & beyond to help out and answer questions.    Grant, the General Manager, has also been helpful with questions.  It’s easy to see that his team is happy working under his leadership & training.

I joined through USAA's health benefits, and there is so much that they offer on top of the regular gym equipment. With a black card membership, you also get to use tanning beds, red light therapy, massage chairs, and hydro massage. They have many machines and exercise equipment with enough duplicates that I have never had to wait for one that I wanted. I love their second floor, which gives a more personal session.

Love Planet fitness and the amenities are a bonus. They're great people, no judgement and the price is right

Exercise at Planet Fitness it helps it does everything you need to get done and it will help you lose weight or you just need to do now is eat healthier.

Jade Wine and Jay Guzman are incompetent humans of society. They repetitively spoke over me and would redirect my questions when I asked about cancelling a membership. We also needed a manager but Jay (the manager) was working out in the gym and to busy to assist with membership issues, so his demeanor was very aggressive and rude. I didn’t know that working out was a priority over customer help… I would highly suggest using a different gym! I don’t appreciate the hostile environment.

Nice staff. Please put hooks in the tanning rooms. I hate that there is nowhere to put your clothes. Also, who’s idea was it to remove the trash cans out of each tanning room. And have 1 in the main area of the tanning and massage area. There is always trash on the floor or tanning wrappers on the floor. Put the cans back. People will use them. Thanks!

It's a Planet Fitness so I don't expect a ton for $10/mo. The main machines I use for heart health, the stair climber, are currently 1 of 6 in-service but 2 of 6 has been the norm for the last three or four months. Is there a plan to get more in working order or are they being phased out?

The staff in the evening was great but one in particular during daylight hours didn't know what I was asking when it came to the black card members spa. I just went to a different location. Also just because staff is non judgemental doesn't mean the patrons are other girls can be vicious.

Very clean and lots of room. The young man at the front door staff on 4/07/23 noon was very polite and helpful. I am from out of town and felt very welcome.

So far I'm very pleased with the Atlantic Beach PF. It's closed to work, it has everything I need, the staff are courteous and friendly. It's also much cleaner then my neighborhood PF. I'm a neat freak so I really appreciate that. The fact that it doesn't close is great because usually I can't get there till late hours, and I'm there at least 2 hour +, due the fact that I know also use it for practicing martial arts as well. Keep up the good work. I most certainly recommend this gym to all.

This is the best gym I have ever been to everybody is always so nice and truly acts like family anything you need they got you go to this gym you won't regret it there is nice staff and clean lockers and clean bathrooms clean lobby and clean equipment it is a very welcoming environment some of the best workers are Alexis, Devon, Chris, cloudy, storm, jay these people is what makes the gym feel like home so go get a membership or go get the black card membership you will love it🫶🏽

This gym is well run, and the staff is friendly, helpful, ready and eager to assist with any request that may come up. The new manager, Jay, has really added a whole new dimension to the atmosphere in the gym. He is personable, inspiring and stays on top of things with cleanliness and all. What I like the most is his optimistic, can-do spirit which is so contagious. Well Done Jay and the staff. Thank you. Highly recommend for a quality fitness experience.

I like going here. Everything is very clean, the massage chairs are great after a workout. They also have tanning beds! Highly recommend

Stephanie was very patient with my first time experiencing Full Body Machine in Black Card Area - disregard Orientation, just Stand and Close Eyes (instead of wearing the scary stickers or tiny goggles) and enjoy the Trippy Light Show!!!

Great location, parking, access. Staff friendly. Place clean. Good variety of equipment. Haven't used the showers yet so i can't comment. Go if you're near here.

Staff at this location is awesome! Devin helped me out big time with my messed up bike lock. He saved my day! I wouldn’t have gotten to work on time if it wasn’t for him. This guy needs a raise for going above and beyond!!

I can afford to give you a 5! I do several Planet Fitness in my Road Trips and this one is very well maintained, good workout music, good staff, hydro massage and private lounge! The showers and changing rooms are also well organized! The only thing and maybe too much lighting where the hydro massage! Congratulations
