This review is NOT for the practice it is directly to Daren the office manager at this location the rest of the staff is great. So I am in need of an endocrinologist I shared this with my dentist Dr . DeFelice Hucke which she likes to be called Dr. Michelle who is an amazing dentist love her and her practice so I asked and she very candidly said you should go see Dr. Trudy at Balanced Physician Care she said that place is amazing so I called today but the receptionist that was very nice told me to leave my number and Daren would call me … He called left a message and I called back and he introduced himself and then I spoke I stated I wanted to get a meet and greet with the doctor my dentist had told me how things are done so I asked for one then he started to talk about the plans and to go on line to see what I was interested in and I asked do I have to choose a plan with out seeing a doctor ? Talk about a cheap car dealer that is what I felt like I was talking to . I was been forced into a plan or plans I had no idea about with out seeing a doctor ??!!! I could not believe what was coming out of this man’s mouth as a health care provider where there should be compassion and empathy but NO … this man was talking with a lot of frustration he got so frustrated when getting my e mail that he said “ I was not good for the practice and in-fact we have a lot of patients and hung up on me “ Really are you kidding me I am in the medical field and we treat all of clients human or animal with the basic human rights of respect , compassion and empathy never how this individual spoke to me . He is no good for the practice if he treats people like this he is no good for the doctor he works under because I cannot imagine how it is behind doors if he treats people like this . This is a reflection on him so he is making the practice look extremely bad . He was unprofessional he was talking over me raised his voice at me and he can go treat someone else like that because no one should be treated like this . I hope the practice takes my concerns and I hope they do right by the doctor they work under . I wish I could of met the doctor but now I know she is amazing.

After using employer provided health insurance and seeing quite a few big name "primary care" providers around Jacksonville, I finally gave them up, especially when a Baptist P C office on Gate Pkwy had nerve to charge "new patient" fee for an annual exam, which should be covered by insurance that I paid tens of thousands dollars every year. Dr. Truty presents true professionalism, efficiency and CARE of a physician, a MD. No bureaucracy, no months faraway appointment. One of the best family doctors!

Dr Truty is THE BEST physician I have ever been to! Unlike other doctors who ignore my concerns, Dr Truty listens and she gives multiple options! She has done more for me in the last 6 months than what other doctors have done for me in years! I used to be the type of person who only went to the doctor if I absolutely needed to but with Dr Truty and her amazing staff, I feel great going to my appointments knowing that she will lead me in a direction of better health! 10/10! ive been a patient of balanced physician care for over 4 years and dr truty and her staff have worked with me on a number of issues that ive dealt with for a number of years. im 51 years old and ive never felt better. and when i didnt have health insurance and less then few options, this membership setup is by far better and less stressful. enabled me to focus on getting better, not insurance frustrations.

Dr Truty is a tremendous health care provider! My wife and I are health care professionals. She provides options for managing your health with clinical research and best practices. She has helped us navigate thru several challenges since we enrolled. Her support staff is stellar

Dr. Truty is a wonderful practitioner, who works with you to explore solutions. She will give you as much info as you need on both traditional and holistic treatment routes. Very responsive office for appointments, prescriptions, labs. They go above and beyond for their patients.

Dr. Truty is the best. I've been incredibly happy with my care at Balanced Physician Care. The staff is warm and friendly. The doctor goes above and beyond for her patients. I also love the transparent pricing. All doctors offices should be like this.

I got vitamin C IVs here and the staff is wonderful! Amy is such a good nurse and everyone is so kind and caring in the office. They were very welcoming to my children, who sometimes attended the IVs with me. I highly recommend this office!
