So happy to have found a gym where the people who go are respectful and clean but the staff are also funny and so sweet! I wish I knew her name but every single time we see each other we catch up and she is always so so sweet and happy! She works at the front desk, Latina, middle aged and works day shift like 11AM/2PM (I never go the same time) she makes my day most days when I go there and I don’t even think she has any idea the power of her positivity. Love her! Happy to call this place my gym (-:

Love going to this gym. Staff is really friendly and I enjoy being able to work out any time of the day or night that I want due to my busy schedule. John is a great employee and makes my day every time I come to work out. I always make sure I come in when John is working if I can because he makes my experience that much better! Would definitely recommend this gym to anyone no matter what your goals are.

I used to come here a lot but over time the homeless have taken over and you can’t find employees. I went the other morning and a homeless woman was behind the desk setting up the massage chair for herself. I also could not believe how nasty and dirty the bathroom was. I see other members must be going elsewhere it’s not busy like it used to be.I also stopped by to give it one more chance to get a massage and got told by 2 kids they had it reserved. I will not ever be back here and will be looking for another gym. I am not paying for kids to tell me I can’t sit in a massage chair!!!

Great Facility,Huge place looks like a warehouse of fitness!! Men's locker room is really nice and has a TV private showers AC system works really well and awesome 😎 👍 I would recommend going to this facility for sure

While my kids liked going to Planet Fitness, be very careful when you cancel your membership. We were told to cancel in person, which we did. I went with my daughter to the Beach Boulevard location in August 2023 to cancel, after trying to do so on the phone. I was told we had to be there in person, so we went. The guy at the front desk said it was all taken care of and she had roughly 10 days left on the month to use the gym. Great. No problem. We then went and joined Bailey's Gym only because it is closer to our house. Had Planet Fitness been near by, we would have stayed with them. My son cancelled his membership a few months later to also join Bailey's. Imagine my surprise seeing not only $10.75 monthly fees on my account statement but also a $41.93 fee. Turns out that Planet Fitness did not cancel my daughter's membership (even though we had gone in person and had been told it had been cancelled). They continued to bill us and even charged us the $41.93 renewal fee on November 1st. They will not refund $.01 of any of that. So I've paid them over $80 for things we never used and which were supposed to be cancelled.

I was peasantly surprised with Planet Fitness on Beach Blvd. It's a great value for the amenities, very spacious and clean, and the cardio equipment is new. The staff are always nice. It can get busy during midweek nights around 6pm, but I haven't had to wait on any machines with all of the options. Highly recommend!

Larger, newer location. Fits my travel needs perfect. Machines are same and all familiar from my home PF location.

I called this am and s/w Seth to complain about the temperature. It is so cold that it is so uncomfortable that you are unable to work out.I asked for the manager and he said he was which is not true. Also where the mats are people are doing their stretches and you can't get to the machine to do the bands or ropes. I have emailed the corporate office and also called and nothing is being done.

This is location is awesome! The gym is always so clean and the staff says “hi” and “goodbye” to me every time. I can’t say that about other Planet Fitness locations. John and Matthew are so attentive and always ask how I am doing, which I really appreciate. The cleanliness of the gym and the phenomenal staff make going to the gym such a great experience for me!

Rude staff. Poorly maintained cycling equipment. Rules blasting over loud speaker and painted on walls. Music so soft you can't even hear it. Out of all the gyms I've belonged to over the past 20 years this one is in fact the worst. Go to the new crunch fitness just up the road for same price but all the best.

I love tanning here. Everyone is really nice and super helpful. The tanning rooms and beds themselves are extremely clean the whole club is sanitary and the bathrooms always seem to be stocked. 10/10 recommend.

Great staff, nice environment. It’s easy to want to go workout there. I love the extreme sports they show on the tv in front of the cardio machines. The music is good there, too.

Love my gym. Love the new equipment. Only complaint is the showers need to be updated. They are a bit small and could use the curved shower curtain rod and new shower heads.

App is very easy to use this. I have a black membership and I am able to easily add my guest. Every time I bring somebody with me to the gym. the staff always has a smile on their face And greet me every time I enter and leave the gym. great customer service.

The app was easy to download, and getting into the gym itself went very smoothly using a guest pass. I went to the Jax location at beach near San Pablo around 9pm, and was very pleased with the experience.

The gym is very clean! The night staff fellow was very helpful, too, and a cool guy. Next time I'm in Jacksonville, I'll definitely be visiting here.

I was visiting from out of town. Definitely won’t be coming back though unless it’s an emergency workout. The overall gym was okay, even the machines weren’t very well maintained. The ab machine kept squeaking and was dirty as hell and so was the stairmaster, but the women’s bathrooms were probably some of the nastiest that I’ve been to from state to state since I’ve joined planet fitness. The sinks were filled with mold and crud. They looked like they had not been cleaned In decades. The floors were dirty and nasty. Plus the shower mats on the floor really needed to be changed. They also had mold. I went at 8:00am in the morning so there was no excuse why the place should have been that filthy. I don’t get it…. If the staff doesn’t want to clean the bathrooms properly then why not just hire an outside company to do it. It’s still basically Covid and monkey pox etc. it should be against the law to be that nasty. Hopefully someone doesn’t call the health department on these gyms for not keeping them cleaned right. It’s insane !!! The staff seemed pretty nice , but not enough for me to want to keep working out there. I actually ended up leaving and going to a different location.I want to workout in a clean comfortable space and this wasn’t it.

I had a membership 3 years ago and cancelled it, I was hoping they brought some newer equipment since then and got a black membership to try it out. Should have not, its overcrowded and the equipment is old and nothing changed. Shame on me, I should have checked before signing up.

$10 per month for single location membership but there is a $49 annual fee which ultimately brings the price to ~$14 per month. This location is clean, organized and well equipped.

My place of choice to exercise. Love having a great variety of locations to choose from. Doesn't matter where you go, the staff is courteous and helpful.

Perfect place to go and get fit. The G.M. and entire staff couldn't be any kinder, helpful, and courteous. The equipment and locker rooms are always clean and ready to use. Great Job!!!

Love the gym so far. Great staff, extremely friendly and helpful. The gym is never over crowded and the black card membership is awesome. I take full advantage of the tanning and massage rooms after work outs.

Please get the STAIRMASTER fixed!!! This location has 4 and only 2 work. Every time I come here to workout people are always on the machine that I want to use. What is stopping you guys from getting the stairmaster fixed? Other than that, this location is one of the better ones that I’ve been to.

Really enjoy coming to this Planet Fitness. It’s not overly crowded, people get on a machine, do the exercise and get off for someone else to use. Staff is probably the best I have encountered at a Planet Fitness.

I would definitely recommend it to my friends who live in Jacksonville as well to my friends who travel to Jacksonville. Good equipment, great staff and nice vibe. Super Clean as well.

It says it’s supposed to be open 24/7 hours but why is it closed and it’s only 10 pm on a Monday. Update your hours, instead of having your customers driving here for no reason

I am glad to call this gym my home gym! I feel extremely comfortable coming here. The employees are all pretty friendly and the equipment is always clean. The bathrooms are very clean as well!

Front desk staff is rude. I decided after my first visit and a follow up call with questions the staff was rude. Definitely wasn’t my kind of place. Upon canceling my membership prior to a month passing. I was told the timing made it so my membership was cancelled and I wouldn’t be refunded my money. So, I paid approximately $50 to find out the staff is rude and I don’t want to be there. Good luck Any response PF sends is irrelevant to me. I literally went in their doors once and was through.

Members are failing to wipe their sweat off the machines after using it. Members laying in the floor doing exercises that you must step over in the main walk way. Members also circuit training 3 pieces of equipment at a time getting upset if someone tries to use one. It has plenty of cardio equipment and senior citizens to go with it. Place is clean and smells ok as well as locker rooms

Lots of equipment and very clean. Staff is nice and helpdul. Cons- not alot of room for stretching. Showers are smaller than others i frequent and hot water took a few minutes. All in all I would recommend

John is such a good manager, he positively motivates both the PlanetFitness clients and staff, he does a great job and loves his work. The staff are very professional, knowledgable and courteous on every shift. The entire gym and locker/bathrooms are safe and clean. The machines are fixed if maintenance is needed. Like the variety of exercise equipment and TV monitors to watch. Guests are good about wiping down machines after using them. Awesome place to get healthy and stay healthy!

This place is absolutely disgusting. They allow multiple homeless people who live in their cars use the showers. The whole place always smelled like sewage and piss. They rang the stupid bell on me multiple times for accidently dropping a heavier weight than I was normally doing in order to progress myself. Do yourself a favor and just go to Baileys a mile away. This place is disgusting. Also one of the employees found my personal information and wouldn’t leave me alone on social media afterwards.

I always go to Planet fitness’s when I travel . I am visiting Jacksonville for NYE. I have never been to a Planet Fitness with a dirty bathroom until now . I have never been to a planet fitness without water . I am traveling and don’t have a water bottle with me . I was disappointed with my experience because it isn’t inline with the brand .

Absolute filth. There’s urine on the floor in all the men’s stalls, no toilet paper, toilets are absolute filthy. Trash on the floor in the stalls. I’ve been here twice on a weekend and the two paper towel dispensers were empty by the dumb bell rack. Does anybody work here? What am I paying for?
