Oceanfront Park has four bathrooms and a place to rinse off. There's a grassy area with some seating and statues that's perfect for a quiet moment or picnic. There are two access ways at this park. One has a ramp, the one closest to the entrance, the other is just stairs. There is a big drop at the bottom of the ramp to the actual beach FYI. Parking here is free, but limited.

It was beautiful, sunny and some overcast. The Oceanfront park is a nice place to park for the beach. They have restrooms & showers to wash off the sand. There’s even a little play area for the children. When I want to spend time in the Jax Beach area I choose this place.

Just stumbled upon this park as we were just looking for the public restroom. Which this has 4 stalls. Perfect place to stop. Walked around a bit after. Can't wait to go back and start an adventure biking the beach at low tide looking for sharks Teeth.

Ocean Park at Jacksonville Beach: A Little Park with Local Wildlife Fun Facts Introduction: Nestled along the picturesque coastline of Jacksonville Beach, Ocean Park stands as a hidden gem for nature enthusiasts and beachgoers alike. This little park not only offers stunning ocean views and sandy shores but also provides a unique opportunity to encounter local wildlife. In this essay, we will explore the wonders of Ocean Park and delve into some fascinating fun facts about the wildlife that calls this place home. 1. The Park's Biodiversity: Ocean Park boasts an impressive array of wildlife, showcasing the rich biodiversity of the Jacksonville Beach area. From the moment you step foot in the park, you may encounter a variety of bird species, including seagulls, pelicans, and sandpipers. These feathered creatures gracefully soar through the sky, adding a touch of elegance to the coastal landscape. 2. The Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins: One of the most enchanting sights at Ocean Park is the presence of Atlantic bottlenose dolphins. These intelligent and playful marine mammals can often be spotted swimming and leaping through the waves just off the coast. Their acrobatic displays never fail to captivate visitors, leaving them in awe of the wonders of the ocean. 3. Sea Turtles Nesting Grounds: Ocean Park serves as a vital nesting ground for endangered sea turtles, including the loggerhead, green, and leatherback species. These magnificent creatures return to the beach each year to lay their eggs, ensuring the survival of their species. Witnessing the nesting process or the hatching of baby sea turtles is a truly remarkable experience that Ocean Park offers to lucky visitors. 4. The Intriguing Ghost Crab: While strolling along the sandy shores of Ocean Park, keep an eye out for the elusive ghost crab. These small, nocturnal creatures are known for their pale coloration and swift movements. Ghost crabs are fascinating to observe as they scuttle across the beach, digging burrows and scavenging for food. Their ability to blend seamlessly with the sand makes them a true marvel of nature. 5. The Resilient Beach Dune Plants: Ocean Park is not only home to captivating wildlife but also showcases a variety of beach dune plants that play a crucial role in maintaining the coastal ecosystem. These resilient plants, such as sea oats and dune sunflowers, help stabilize the sand dunes, preventing erosion and providing a habitat for numerous species. Their ability to thrive in harsh coastal conditions is a testament to the adaptability of nature.

Great place to park and sit at the picnic table enjoying a seaside lunch, while having access to public restrooms? Good beach access and showers to rinse the sand off after a beach day well spent, before getting in your ride and heading home... I recommend this spot to those who enjoy places that are centrally located... Nearby you can find just about anything that may be desired. Go and see this place for yourself to find out what i am posting about in the review... You will be happy that you did...

Large amount of parking. Public restroom and outdoor space to shower off after leaving the beach. The walkway to the beach is very easy to walk down. The beach was wide enough to have plenty of space to setup chairs, but not so long that it was difficult to get to. They have an ordinance about when dogs are or are not allowed on the beach that changes depending on the time of year.

Great beach front park that's has a bathroom which is supposed to close at 8 but sometimes it closes early so don't wait until the last minute! Big open grass area for picnics or activities. Has a shower and foot rinsing station to get all the sand off.

Awesome, just awesome. Sun going down and waves crashing just gives you that feeling of release from all the b. S. There's people praying, people jogging and people just simply watching the sun say goodbye. I just had to get out and walk around a little and take it all in.Awesome spot.

Came from downtown Jacksonville to this beautiful location oceanfront Park due to the hurricane can’t imagine the before and after pictures but I do have some after pictures I’m assuming there’s at least 2 feet deep worth of sand that’s missing God bless you Jacksonville thanks for the redline driver you’re awesome

I took my entire family here for a peaceful evening to watch the sun set over the water. I was really impressed with the fountain in the center. Such a beautiful area and there is tons of room for kids to run and play in the open lawns. Our family sat and had a picnic in the park as well. Lots of trees if youre looking for shade and a very large open lawn in the center with no trees if ur looking for sunshine. Definitely check this one out.

😐 Comparing this with another waterpark. This one was a bit run down, especially for the price. There are 3 bigger slides, 2 of them require 48" and one is 42". The good thing about this being a bit rundown is that it wasnt super busy, normally there was only a 5-10 minute wait for the slide. The wave...
