So much fun! I was originally going to let my 9 & 11 yr old go by themselves but glad their dad went through the course with them. The first course they went on was challenging not in difficulty(yellow) mainly bc they needed to learn how to hook and unhook. The 2nd course was green and a lot more upper strength and balance needed. After that they could totally go by themselves! I couldn’t go bc I had our dog but they have benches everywhere to sit and small trails to walk around. We spent about 2 hours. Highly recommend! We’re going to check out the other location next- Bloomfield 🧗‍♀️

We went with my 9 year old and there were 4 courses based on his age we could go on. They were well worth it and age appropriate. Challenging for me as a first timer but mostly just exciting and fun! We were there for about 3 hours. I felt very safe and well educated about the safety gear and the training is easy to grasp and brief. He had a blast!

I felt that the attendant at the beginning of the park was rude and insulting to me. Because at the point of my very first obstacle entry, he asked for f I had been here before. I answered yes, a year ago. He then instructed me to go to the yellow beginners section. I told him that I didn’t need, nor did I like the yellow beginners section, and that I would rather take the opposite entry, because I felt safe enough. He stepped in front of the optional section to prevent my entry. I insisted that I didn’t want to take the yellow, that I would rather take the next level up. He was rude, very rude. He turned away from me to allow the line of people waiting to enter and just ignored me. It reminded me of my visit about one year ago, when the representative objected to my grandson entering the very first obstacle, yellow level. My grandson insisted and was allowed to enter, despite an attendant’s objections. He did great, had lots of fun, and without incident. I really felt that the rudeness was racially motivated. Because I signed the waiver releasing TreeRunner of any liability. Therefore, the rude, racially biased attendant should have allowed me, a fully capable Adult, to enter per my decision. Attendant in need dog of Racial Sensitivity Inservice. Ty

Right from the onset, the team was welcoming, knowledgeable, and showed an extraordinary commitment to safety. Their detailed orientation covered all necessary procedures and guidelines, easing any potential concerns and making sure everyone felt confident about their adventure ahead. This was a great gem to show our team who was visiting from the Chicago area. We had a fun time navigating different courses and enjoying the outside energy and shade of the trees! You can really just enjoy your time walking around the area too.

Ok, I was a bit skeptical on what this was going to be, but it was really fun. I am not a climber and not in very good physical condition and loved it. They have courses for all skill levels! Stuff that is very easy and close to the ground and range up to high in the trees that I was thinking I couldn't complete due to difficulty. I want to go back again to try more courses. Definitely worth every penny! All different courses with varying levels of obstacles. Zip lines were fun and each obstacle was more and more fun.

Went here for my daughter‘s 14th birthday in June 2021 with 3 of her friends. We had such a great time! The park is clean and the staff were friendly. I definitely want to give the staff a shout out for how patient informed that they are! I bought the tickets online and signed the waivers online so check in was a breeze. Her actual birthday is in January, so I had bought the tickets at Christmas when they had a discount for a four pack. I did the course with the girls and I’m super proud of myself for finishing. My favorite was the one with mostly zip lines. 🙂 My only complaint was that a couple of the steel cables on two of the runs are hung low, so for a tall person they went under my arm or across my neck and rubbed my skin as I tried to balance. But I had worn a tank top and I think the next time I would wear a shirt with a little bit longer sleeves. I would also suggest that you bring extra water. I brought one per person and I definitely wish we had bought more, The physical activity makes you thirsty! They do have drinks for purchase however if you forget. I would highly recommend this place for a fun active day out and we will definitely be back!!

And awesome family oriented adventure awaits anybody brave enough to give this a try. This adventure park offers many different levels of challenges for people of all ages with their easiest courses starting at seven years old. I have gone many times and I plan to go many more times

Such a wonderful experience!! 3 hours was enough for 2 green routes and 1 blue route. One thing is the metal cables were rubbing my arms super bad and gave me bruises. I’m 5’9. My husband is tall enough so he doesn’t have this problem. So don’t wear tank tops!

Nice place! There are about 6 types of course based on various difficulty level and you get 3 hours to finish it. We had booked it for 4.45pm which I would not recommend to anyone since by the time it was 7.20pm we were told that the blue courses gets closed by 7.15pm which was nowhere mentioned on the site so we missed all the blue and black courses. We were quite disappointed since we could only finished 3 courses and we still had time left on our clock which ultimately got wasted.

We had such an amazing time! I was worried that I wouldn't be able to do that much, but there are courses for all ages and skill levels! We went during the glow night with all of the lights in the trees and it was simply magical! There was also NOT a bug problem, which I was worried about. The staff is super chill and just wants to help you and make sure you are safe and having fun. We will SURELY return with more friends next time!

Great park -- the safety carabiner system is pretty easy to understand; all of the tree cover makes for a nice, shady, comfortable space; and the courses are fun. My group went on a day that wasn't busy, so I do wonder what the wait times for courses would be like if there were larger crowds -- since you get a specific amount of time for your visit, I can imagine on busier days you might spend an annoying amount of time waiting in line for a course to clear. But, we didn't! It was great. Good workout, too. I'm probably going to come back with other friends.

This is a fun outdoor activity for the family. Our son, who loves to climb, had a blast. The staff was helpful and polite. After my son successfully navigated the easier courses they allowed him to tackle some of the more difficult courses as long as we were with him to assist if needed (I think he was better at it that my wife and myself).

We had the perfect afternoon at TreeRunner. The courses had lots of variety in skill and all of us got to push ourselves out of our comfort zone. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I'd recommend this to anyone wanting quality time together with friends and family. Definitely will be going back.

Unfortunately it started to rain and we had to take cover so didn't actually get to try out the course, but it looks impressive with different difficulty levels. Will be back soon

MI-Combat Staff did a team builder at Tree Runners and had an absolute blast! The courses are fun, challenging and well done. We went at early evening and the forest was lit up beautifully. The staff were helpful, funny and read the crowd. We'll definitely return

Really fun and well priced. Only complaint is the safety lines are so low they are always in the way and hitting me in the neck.

We had a great time. The glow lights made it a little extra special. The staff was helpful, beyond friendly, and attentive. The courses felt safe and sturdy.

We took our 8 year old here, and she was able to do 2 of the courses! She had never done something like this before, but she got the hang of it really quick, and started helping other kids figure it out, too! She met some friends and had a blast. Also good for adults, too! Although, I got a little scared on the blue course 🤣

I havent noticed such a wonderful place next to my neighbourhood in these many years. I have visited with my 9 year old son. We both liked this place. It has very nice and sturdy rides starting from beginer to expert levels. We spent more than 2 hours and covered 3/4 of the rides they have. Have not tried the expert level rides yet. Family members can enter inside for free and watch us. I really liked the big and tall zip lines on moderate level.

So much fun. I'm a senior and did green level courses. Found them challenging, (my first time) but got a very good workout and never felt unsafe. Would recommend this activity for all age groups!

Had an absolute blast on the course. Highly recommend it to everyone. I am afraid of heights but had no issues. What is interesting is you're working hard but you're having so much fun you don't notice it. Awesome adventure!!

Not only was the general experience amazing the customer service was phenomenal. I lost one of my spare car keys while out in the woods. I live several hours away and they very quickly offered to ship my key to me. They even paid for secure priority shipping. I offered to vemo one of the employees and they declined the offer. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic check in process, and after a quick lesson you're free to have an adventure. The staff is always around and happy to help. Tons of shade!!!!!

Course was great and my youth group enjoyed the experience. I am leaving two stars instead of five because the venue does not accept cash, which was very problematic for my group. Youth do not carry credit/debit cards and, even though they had cash, were not able to make their own purchases. Please change your policy to accept cash. It was a very poor way to start the visit.

I was half way through an obstacle before I was told I had to go back because an employee had to come back. Not sure why he couldn't complete the course instead. Two employees spent an hour trying to move a branch closing two courses and distracting a third employee. Fun, safe, challenging and enjoyable for the time allotted and money spent.

We had a great time. Staff is knowledgeable and trained. The courses are challenging. They have long zip lines. I definitely recommend going for the day. It is a great workout too.

My daughter and I had such a great time! We got a great work out as we had so much fun trying to challenge ourselves through the different level courses! The guides were also very sweet and helpful. Thank you for a memorable experience.

Loved it. Right here in our backyard. Nice challenge and reasonably priced. The only negative is the zip line runs weren't as long as I'd hoped. Still a great time.

I went by myself early on a Sunday. The park is really well laid out and super fun. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. The blue runs are challenging and the black is humbling. An awesome way to spend 2-3 hours.

TreeRunner Adventure Park in Rochester was a great experience for me and my friends. They have a variety of courses, with different difficulties that make the park enjoyable for people of all ages and skill levels. The staff did a good job of explaining how the harnesses worked, so we all felt safe. When we needed help on the course, a staff member quickly came to assist, and everyone we encountered was friendly.

Tree runner in Rochester Hills was a fun and family friendly activity. The courses were fun for everyone in our group. The only drawback was that I had to get a piece of my harness swapped out while on one of the stands. The staff was very responsive and the rest of my experience was smooth sailing, especially the zip lining.

  • 5/5 Preston M. 3 years ago on Google
This was incredible! We got there at 9:30am and pretty much had the whole course to ourselves for a couple hours. 3 hours was the perfect amount of time for us to do all the courses once. Definitely something to bring friends and family too. Staff was positive and encouraging, and everything was in good condition.

We went as a family with out two kids 7 and 10. It was awesome because my son could do more than we thought they’d let him do! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly with the exception of one young man. He was a little short with me because I was new and had no clue what I was doing. However, everyone else was so sweet and helpful. I’d definitely recommend this for a family activity!

Great time! Lots of routes. The kids loved it. One of our kids got stuck for a LONG time (and actually had to be lowered by a staff member)...so those with a fear of heights, yeah. Full price seems really expensive, but they do get to play for several hours. We went on a half price day and few others were there, which made the experience feel much better/affordable.

By far the worst customer experience of my life. I started calling this place in early August to book a party for my daughter. Each time I was promised a "call back." This never happened. Even when I talked to people in the booking office I would get responses like "I understand that Tamira hasn't called you back but she is busy." Finally, with less than one week to go, I pleaded that they call back so I can pay and get invitations out. Again, I was PROMISED a call back, but warned that there were "parties in front of me." Keep in mind I was told there was open availability on my day from the beginning. Of course, I did not receive the call and ended up having to find a different venue with under one week to go. Bad customer service all around. I would not rely on this place for anything.

This place is awesome for both kids and active adults. It also offers many places to watch and enjoy things from the ground. The staff is so friendly and helpful, which make the experience even better because there is no stress on the parents. Highly recommend it and will be going back again soon!

We had a great time celebrating my husband’s birthday by visiting TreeRunner. We did a yellow course first and it was easy and similar to low ropes courses I’ve done before. Then we challenged ourselves to a green course with lots of elements. We had a great time, enjoying the challenge of a more difficult course. Although we were a little exhausted and sore by the end of these courses, I definitely plan on coming again.

My two 8-year-olds went and it was difficult. One of them was so scared initially but got over it and did it! They did all 4 yellow courses and loved it. It was a great experience for them on so many levels. I was so proud of them.
