So I was waiting all weekend to go with my wife to Five Guys Burgers and Fries the plan was.. we were going to go to The Cider Mill and then go to lunch. Well we stayed at The Cider Mill a little longer than anticipated and decided to go to dinner to five guys. Place was very clean let me say that first off the place was very clean. Although when I went into the bathroom, there was trash overflowing in the basket the mirror was dirty like no one had cleaned it in the last at least hour or two. There was only four people working there that I could see unless there was other staff in the back, the employees did not look happy.. the manager was making our order we had a specific order request which they did honor.. but, the one thing that I love the most besides are obvious Burgers is the fries. Last time I came there with my wife the fries were slightly undercooked. That, I can deal with. But, this particular order was overcooked to the point where it was completely burnt! It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't the manager that was making our order. I get it, there was a pandemic a lot of things have changed and people's lives trust me I know boy do I know. But that does not excuse poor service. When you're paying your hard-earned money whether it's 10 bucks 20 bucks 30 or in our case almost $40, you expect the food to be right. I will probably not come back to this establishment in this location. For being in rochester, I expected a little better. Highly disappointed. This is one of the reasons why my wife and I don't really do take out very much because it seems like the simplest things people are getting wrong. And being a manager in service with customers, customers are the number one priority! It's not much to follow a ticket receipt and make the order the way the customer requested. But to give somebody a poor order and then to smile at them and tell them to have a good night knowing the fries are terrible! I'm not cool with that. Here are some pictures of our particular experience. And also the fries. Sorry for the lengthy review, but I'm not happy at the moment with this company. Oh and before I forget we waited almost 12 minutes for our order.

I got told my total at the register and all I could was laugh at the cashier and walk out. I'm not paying $20 for a burger, fries and a drink are you kidding me? They used to be expensive, but this is just highway robbery. The burgers aren't even that good either, they're above average at best. The fries are the only good thing they've got here, but that's $5 for a SMALL... Think I might just stick to Culver's and bars for my burgers.

i picked up 2 burgers at 5 pm, having only a bagel for breakfast. i threw-up at 4 am the burgers, my stomach was killing me. have never had a problem here before, but obviously something in the burger was spoiled. wanted fo share this, will not be coming back.

Absolutely amazing staff and fantastic food. Very accommodating and I can definitely vouch for their quality! Juicy patties, gooey cheese, and buns that don't fall apart easily. What more could you ask for from a burger place? I've been coming here daily for almost 2 months now, and I'm definitely coming back again! Thank you for the amazing service guys!

Food was good but I'm not sure what all the hype is. Fries were seasoned nice buy very soggy. The SMALL burger, fries and a Coke was $20. Yikes!

Nope. Never again. I didn't like coming here when it was $15 for a single patty cheeseburger, small drink and small fry. But now that's $20+ for that? LOL, no. I can't even imagine how it would be if you attempted to feed your family here. Guess they've got the local Rochester clientele's thick wallets to empty at least. The rich and people with poor money management are the only customers they're going to have left soon.

Prices are absurd! $20 for a “little” bacon cheeseburger, “little” fry, and a drink. I didn’t know eating a burger and fries at a fast food joint was something reserved for the elite. Burger was good, but nothing special by any means. Fries were over cooked, yet somehow not very crispy. Guess it was worth trying, once.

If you love a good burger and fries... these are made when you order so yes you have to wait a couple minutes but we'll worth it

All The Way. Bacon Cheeseburger - Juicy and Meaty! Better than any place. As you can see in other reviews. Bacon Cheeseburger and a regular fry gonna cost 19 bucks which took the 1 star away.

I cannot express enough how great the service is here. From quality of food, to the customer service, this place is exceptional. Was there at lunch time(12:15pm 9/6/22), and I got to watch the team members work a few minutes. Their communication was the best I have ever seen, at any Five Guys locations, or any other restaurant in the area. Kudos to the staff in charge, as well as the employees who all are tremendous. Every person in line today was greeted, and thanked for coming in. I cannot explain enough how awesome it was to watch these guys work. Five stars all the way.

Ordered One hamburger and fries and a coke . 20 dollars. Hamburger had three pieces of wilted lettuce,two small pickle slices. Fries had a pound of salt , I love salt but even they put way too much on . What happened to this place I know price has to go up but come on 20 Dollars for a burger fries and a coke and than to give out bad food . Now way again will I waste my money here.

Angel was so amazing and made me feel at home went out her way and was nothing but smiles. Truly amazing we need more people like her to make EVERYONES experience amazing. God bless her

I’ve been coming to these hamburgers for long time and always good but last order was messed up, I got something completely different vs what I ordered, they forgot bacon on all burguers, and ingredientes were completely different to what I asked…:(

Pretty good Five Guys. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Food is great and hot. The only negative side is that it took a while to receive our order. The prices are very high. Overall a good experience.

Five Guys used to be great. It deserved all the hype it got. Now... Not so much. There's about 2 burgers that I can think of in the state that would pay over $10 for, and that's Redcoat Tavern and Vinsetta's Garage. They're worth it. These burgers are really nothing special. The beef is almost flavorless. They have good fries, if you like soggy greasy fries.

Staff is nice and place is chill (when you don’t come on a dinner rush!) but they have missed bacon TWICE on my bacon cheeseburger now on two separate occasions, they are super nice about it tho. Fries are hot, salty and good! Burger tastes good with extra pickles, still waiting for them to nail the bacon 🥓

When i walked it everyone behind the counter (even the cooks) had big smiles on their faces, attentive, ready to assist .My food was nice and hot, tasted amazing too! The only reason I’m giving four stars is because of how much it cost now. Other than that my experience was perfect.

My burger was tasty as ever. My wife didn't like hers. One of my kids didn't like the white bacon. My other said her grilled veggie sandwich was terrible. No chicken on the menu. I guess I won't be returning with the family.

Do you see $25.88 in that photo? The office tells me this is the best burger anywhere. I got a large fry and a burger and a medium coke. Well, the fries were soggy and the burger was just another burger at best. But $25.88?!?!?!?! Come on………..

Excellent burgers, made exactly like you want. Any American topping you could care to have. Great fries, with vinegar if you're not into ketchup. Roasted peanuts while you wait. Would be nice if they had a couple other side dish options, but no. Service was decent, time to prepare was fine. Seating area is nothing special but works fine.

My experience tonight was rough. I had placed a online order that took a hour to not get I had a prior engagement that I missed. Eneded up leaving hungry and disappointed. Don't matter how good the food is if you can't get it out on time it's no good to the customer. The staff where working hard but where overwhelmed and under staffed. 2 stars only because the staff where putting in some hard work.

Burgers are great, but the fries are never crispy.

The food is always good and the employees have always been kind and respectful. Just yesterday a part of my order was missed and once I brought it up the employee was very tentative and helpful. Definitely great customer service.

If you've ever been shorted on fries at any other Five Guys restaurant, fear not! The handful of times I've gone they've always given a generous bag of fries and everything is always delicious.

First time trying this place. Burgers were good. Build your own is awesome. Not a big fan of the fries. Like I got bottom of the barrel. Staff was awesome. A place I will try again.

First time I go there and had an awful experience. I ordered online and it was told me that my order would be ready in 9 minutes, when I get to the place I needed to ask three times about my order and nobody tells me a thing. After I arrived I needed to wait for half an hour to get my order that was ready! I lost so much time watching all the other people leaved faster than me. I won't go back.
