What a charming, cosy little gem! I was planning on heading to the Peruvian spot on this street, but it was too busy so we kept walking and came across this (fairly new?) hole in the wall cocktail bar. It's basically a one man show, with a single bartender and a server to help him out. (I don't know if there's food? But there are a few complimentary snacks.) The space is not large at all. It maybe seats about 12. Which is perfect for the experience. Service was prompt and helpful. I started with the Terracotta which the bartender mentioned was one of his favourites. It was smooth and exceptionally well-balanced. The hints of cheese and pumpkin shrub really held up against the tequila. The apricot was a bit too present for me, but it was a tasty and sophisticated little drink. And considering it was Jose Cuervo (my most hated tequila and usually awful), I have to give kudos to the bartender for making it so drinkable. We tried some others as well, but the superstar of the night was the Madeirese. What a fantastic cocktail! I was in love at the first sip. I could drink these forever. What's wild is that on paper, it seems exceptionally sweet and almost none of these ingredients appeal to me! But I saw "banana" and, for some reason, decided, "Hey, why not lol?" I am so glad I did. Now, it is sweet. But not in a cloying or cringey way. Somehow, it's beautifully balanced with the rich, deep flavour of actual Madeira banana puree (which are not as sweet as the common Cavendish banana). The honey is only used as an accent and the Madeira wine rounds out and softens the rum. I can still taste it when I think about it and I hope next time, it's still on the menu when in back in Lisbon. The cocktails are minimalistic in presentation and complex in flavour. But most of all, they are delightful to drink! A very crisp, classy, unique and modern menu with memorable drinks. Amazing job. This bar is such a welcome addition to the cocktail scene here and I can't wait to come back.

Probably the best speakeasy I’ve been to in Lisbon. Our bartender Davide was really knowledgeable and gave us some excellent recommendations. I’d highly recommend the fine fashioned, it’s a smoky take on an old fashioned and it’s probably one of the best drinks I’ve ever had.

If you are looking for a bar with excellent drinks - you will find it here. Very small bar, very good and well thought-out drinks! Very attentive service. The bar is relatively small, as is the menu. I love a thoughtful speakeasy and this did not disappoint! Speakeasy’s should know 2 things - how to make cocktails and how to make immaculate vibes. That’s what Corkies delivered. I always order an old fashioned so I didn’t go for one of their special cocktails, but the owner and I bonded because we like the same bourbon in our old fashioned. He literally carved the largest ice cube for me from a huge slat of ice. They go above and beyond. Enjoy!

We went to corkies for some cocktails and loved it. It’s a small cosy speakeasy with a great atmosphere, excellent service and cocktails and great music. Really loved it and would highly recommend it to others. We tried a couple of cocktails from the menu including classics and their own recipes. Cocktails were on average of €12 each and they were worth it.

Such a great place! It took us an awkward amount of time to find the way inside, but once we got in we were immediately tended to. Jazz was playing on the speakers setting a great atmosphere, the drink selection was extensive, but qualitative, and once we ordered the drinks came quickly. I loved my drink (the verdant), and I also wanted to steal my friends drink - the complexity in tastes were amazing - I’m definitely going back for it (I can’t remember what it was but it came in a tiki-like cup) - this is a great place for chill, delicious drinks when you’re going on a date (just make sure you know how to get inside first) or if you just want to hang out with a great friend like I did tonight.

Incredible local spot. The bar menu was handcrafted with love and the service was outstanding! The atmosphere was perfect— the music is normally so loud at bars that you can’t hear the other person, but this was just right.

Amazing cocktail bar! The vibe is incredibly cozy, perfect for couples, a group of friends or just lonely cocktail lovers. The staff is super nice and Vasco has an incredible vibe and taste for cocktails. A must if you're in Lisbon, in the heart of a busy street full of bars, it's the gem of the Bica. Will definitely come back!

Local Speakeasy very well located when touring Lisbon. An amazing atmosphere for those who seek a more intimate environment. Great cocktails made by very nice people. We had the great pleasure to meet Vasco (the owner) and David. It was a great time. 👌

Wow! Such a hidden gem! The best cocktails we have had in Lisbon. Imaginative cocktails alongside classics such as French 75, Mai Tai and Aperol Spritz. Staff were also lovely and the owner really knows his craft and is passionate about great cocktails!

Some of the best cocktails I‘ve ever tasted. Very interesting creations, all of them had a good intense flavour without being too sweet. You can watch the cocktails being prepared with much love for details. High quality. Great relaxed atmosphere & nice service.
