Enjoying the views while getting lunch. Simple food for the price. The scallops were cooked perfectly. Creme brulee was a bit too much lemon but was still delicious. I mostly enjoyed the views. People watching while enjoying a simple lunch. Service was great as they even moved the table to stay out of the sun.

I came here from the recommendation of someone know and this restaurant was the highest rated in the area. Service Fairly decent but as I was by myself and all the tables around me we full, I was rarely checked on. Not in a bad way but makes the service seem a bit lacking. Food I ordered the bread appetizer, shrimp in garlic butter, and shrimp risotto. The entire meal except for the bread I kept thinking where is the salt? The flavors were good but felt muted due to the lacking of salt. The risotto came out hot and did have a grilled cheese cracker, but felt like this type of cheese that was used was missing the mark. The shrimp was the best but again the salt makes it seem bland. Recommendation Honestly I'm a bit torn as it appears as if this place should be higher but on experience I would say don't bother and find somewhere else.

Simply Delicious ”codfish a bras traditional”. The waitress was very professional and explained all the dishes very well, including the origin, history, and ingredients. Top!!

We were pleased with the size of the 2 person sea food platter, but not 100% with the taste. Unfortunately the sauce for the octopus. It was very chemical for our taste, so we could not really eat it. The Sangria was tasty and the service was good. Spending 160€ for 3 person was in my opinion a bit overpriced for the quality served.

Amazing food! We took 3 different dishes and the 3 of them were extremely delicious. The flavors are well balanced ! I défini recommend it. And if you have some time, discuss with the owner, he is a very interesting and humble person.

Wish I could give zero stars but I sat there for a while waiting for service. Eventually when the hostess came to ask if I ordered I said nope. No one came to me. She took my order. My food & drink were served later. NOT ONCE did anyone ever return to ask if I needed another drink, dessert, the check. Nothing. I sat there cause I had the time & waited thinking this is insane. It can't be real. Eventually they started packing up the chairs & tables & still. No one came. They walked by me all the time - Never asking anything or checking in. I got up and went to the front desk & had to demand the check so I can leave. (Even at that point I had to wait til someone eventually noticed me) not a good experience at all. Service was definitely out of order. Unfortunately I was the only POC in the outdoor dining area & the only one facing this problem from what I saw. Take from that what you must.

Slow service which is fine if you are sipping on a cold beverages but when your glass is dry and no one comes by for 20 minutes. Not exactly a happy hour. Just watched a 6 top walk out for being ignored as well. Not that busy, plenty of staff standing around.

While our food was pretty good, it took about 2 hours to be severed 2 courses and we can see that others in the restaurant were experiencing the same. It wasn't a busy night so there was no excuse for this.

I've traveled solo many times, but one time of the year I avoided had always been during the New Year, as it can get crowded and just overwhelming everywhere you go. I decided to go to Lisbon just to try it out and found this restaurant that was offering a NYE dinner set. Joana was very informative and helped me with the process of booking every step of the way. I arrived to find a nice organized table just for me. The staffs and owner of the restaurant were amazing and lovely and just absolutely the sweetest people. I couldn't be more grateful to have such people around me while welcoming in the New Year. The food was great and the unlimited wine that was going around was obviously the best too and the live music, LOVE. I absolutely would love to visit again and just want to say a big thank you for the great night you all had shown me!

The food was delicious. The plates looked beautiful. Lisbon is a great place to visit and eat. We were all very happy. The location is perfect.

We dined at Populi twice during our four-day stay in Lisbon. We had a quick lunch upon arriving and checking into the Pousada de Lisboa nearby. Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent food, great view of the river and the Praça do Comércio. We had a glass of wine and the cod trio plate and the chicken Caesar salad. Both were fresh and well prepared. We don’t usually dine twice at the same place when traveling but the next day was a busy one. When we returned to the hotel we didn’t feel like a big meal, so we headed over to Populi for dinner and enjoyed some delicious braised cod along with some cool jazz from a trio of musicians playing nearby. A lovely evening.

Came here with a party of 8 on Christmas night. Thankful they were open. It’s a good place to wine and dine followed by sightseeing or Christmas lights outside. I had the fries with the broken egg which was yummy as a side.

Sehr gutes Essen in top Lage, etwas teurer als die meisten Restaurants in Lissabon aber meiner Meinung nach absolut lohnenswert, wir waren 2x hier und wurden sowohl vom Essen als auch von den Cocktails nicht enttäuscht.

This is strawberry daiquiri. The glass isn’t even full???? I guess the waitress drunk my cocktail on the way lol. €7 for this is a joke!

Was a little wary trying here as being on one of the main tourist areas I thought the food might not be that good. Surprisingly it was far better than expected. The salt cod dish was very good and the wine was very reasonably priced. Service was ok,not the friendliest we had in Lisbon

We had lunch here on recommendation from our hotel. We sat outside, it was nice and warm out. The place next door was playing loud club music, which was unpleasant. It's the kind of place they try to get people to stop in and eat at (common). The food was pretty good - we got entrees of scallops on mashed parsnips and prawns with squid ink linguine. I probably would explore somewhere else because I like variety in new places, but it was a decent lunch experience.

Went with 2 families 9 people on Aug 7, my third meal in Portugal. Food was ok, I would of rated it 3.5/5 if it was only based on food. Service went down hill as the night went on, such as going to the wine table, grabbing our wine and pouring it for the table, returning multiple dishes because our server “forgot”… maybe a good place to grab a drink, but wouldn’t bother with a 3-4 course meal there !

The ambiance,service,food was amazing not cheap but worth it,must have their bread and the 3 different butters amazing.we bought pasta a bit oily but the flavors and the prawns we not skimpy.I'd definitely recommend this place

Perfect location, staff really pleasant, plates perfect and really nice presentations, food is really good and prices really reasonable. One of the best restaurants I have tried in Lisbon.

This restaurant does not serve traditional dishes as expected, given the direct access from the museum, which it is linked to. Our fish soup had raw peppers and potatoes, while fish was scarce, and the broth was not a stew.
