The most pork meal I've ever had, and it was magnificent. Tried almost everything - excellent, nothing else to say. 👏👏👏

In cosy Campo d’Ourique, the pork specialised tasca offers a rustic ambiance with cool latin jazz background music, informal excellent service and fair priced menu with a changing selection of wine from smaller producers. The menu is surprisingly innovative with some Alsace inspiration and we were lucky to have a couple of firsts time experiences. We started with the heart croquetes, then shared a tongue stew and a lombo with cabbage; with the couvert, water and coffees we paid only €50, which is an excellent quality/price relation for a very good experience.

Porcaria Extraordinaire 💯 There’s something special about a restaurant that specializes in only one thing: in this case, pig Pigmeu is everything I expected and more Casual and low-key with a diverse menu of pork-centric dishes all held together by rich and savory sauces It’s small place and out of the way, but I’m so happy we stopped by I loved the pork sausage, pork head and pork liver and while the pork pudding wasn’t quite ready, we did try a delicious sample from the night before Thank you for the hospitality! 📷 Pasteis de massa tenra da ovo Mercedes ~ Grandma Mercedes soft dough pastries €9 / Croquetes de Pigmeu €7 / Batata com toucinho ~ potato with bacon €9,8 / Enchilido caseiro, Caldo e Nabica ~ homemade sausage with broth €12 / Bifana Porcholna ~ pork sandwich €9,5 / Porco preto - Corte de dia ~ black pig dish of the day, crispy pig skin with pork head, cheek meat / iscas de cebolada ~ liver with onions €11 / pudim de pao da Tia Julia ~ Aunt Julia’s bread pudding €6 / Abade de priscos ~ pork pudding €6,5 📍Pigmeu (Lisbon, Portugal)

Adorable interior. Great local wines that pare brilliantly with the dishes. Servers are kind. The roasted eggplant with pork sauce was transcendent. It tasted almost like a savory toffee-top five dishes I’ve had all year.

If you are a pork lover this is the place for you, a temple of porcine delights, each dish more delicious than the last. My personal favourites.... everything! But most importantly leave a teeny bit of space for dessert because they are fabulous too. You will want to return, I can't wait to go again.

I recently dined at Pigmeu, a local restaurant in Campo de Ourique known for its pork meals. While I appreciated the restaurant's concept, I found that the food lacked the flavor I was expecting. The staff were polite and welcoming, and I appreciated their effort to provide a local experience by not offering a wine list, for example. However, I felt rushed to make decisions quickly and had to ask the price of each glass of wine offered to me, which took away from the relaxing atmosphere that an authentic local restaurant should offer. Overall, Pigmeu is an average option for a casual meal.

This place isn't just a restaurant with delicious food and wine, but it also has an amazing staff who are funny, knowledgeable, and create a welcoming atmosphere. As the name suggests, their pork dishes are fantastic, but don't overlook the vegetables on the menu. They still have a bit pig-related in them, but they are surprising and really stand out. It's a perfect spot for both couples and a group of friends to enjoy a night out with great wine, delicious food, and a great atmosphere.

Great food experience with an amazing host that recommended us a delicious wine and explained all the different dishes. How they used all the different parts of the pork to offer a one of a kind tasting. If you are a meat lover and you want to try something out of your comfort zone I highly recommend it. Bifana is a must at this place.

My husband and I had a fantastic meal last night. The menu is designed to be shareable, so we got 4-5 dishes and a bottle of wine. The waiters were extremely helpful and explained each dish and picked a full-bodied but dry Portuguese wine to accompany. We enjoyed every bite and didn’t want it to end! (We were too busy being excited about the food to take pictures!) Yes, the entire menu is devoted to pork, but nothing felt heavy or greasy and we left feeling full and happy and not miserable. At the end of our meal our waiters graciously offered advice on what not to miss in the city. We did not have a reservation and were able to get a table, but it’s worth it to make a res just to be safe.

Great flavours! Different from other topical Portugues restaurant. Best bifana in town, really!!! Good service and fair price

This is Excellent. From the food to the service and ambiance. Highly recommend ordering the cut of pork of the day, the bifana and croquetas. Their selection of wine is 👌🥰 This is no place for vegetarians.

Great restaurant doing pork from nose to tail. Just let the staff (owner) tell you what to have, sit back and enjoy. Make sure you walk to the restaurant, you will need the exercise when you're finished 😂

Outstanding restaurant and service. We didn’t know what to get so we just asked our waiter to pick 5 dishes based on his recommendations and we were not disappointed. Amazing food, a stellar bottle of wine and we ended with some very tasty desserts and coffee. Our waiter also explained some history to us about the background of the dishes he brought out. So glad we went here!

I used to think that Lyon, France or China were the best places for pork dishes, then I stumbled upon Pigmeu. Not one part from that noble animal is left behind, cooked in a fabulous way, surprising the palate and more. Menu changes almost each time I visit in a seemingly never-ending inventive ballet of creations. The choice of local wines is also something worth going there to discover some of the best Portugal has to offer.

Bifana was really good. Very savoury and the texture of the bread was chewy - just the way I liked it. Croquetas were excellent too.

The food was great, we had a spectacular dinner. The staff were so helpful guiding us through the menu. One of the most unique dining experiences in Lisbon.

Very lovely restaurant that serves almost every part of the pig as a delightfully thought out dish. The waiter was very inviting and friendly. I didn't speak much Portuguese and he was kind enough to list out the whole menu into English. Felt very looked after and made me comfortable ordering as he suggested. Enjoyed the bread and pork lard with pickles for my starter, wonderfully simple yet delicious. Main was the pork sandwich which is a small portion but really your heart probably couldn't take any more clogging so it's a good thing really. Got the pig heart pastries as a takeaway since I was full but curious. When I got back to the hotel they mysteriously disappeared into my tummy. Laid in bed a very happy pig! :)

Delicious throughout! Wait staff was brilliant and funny and cheerful.. Liver dish was excellent.. Grandma's recipe for the heart pastile amazing, and their take on bifana. Can't go wrong here! Enjoy. Strangely the mushroom dish tasted sooo similar to fried kuay kak (chye tow kuay) from msia/sgp so while delicious, it was odd for me to experience it in mushroom form in Lisbon. 😅

Amazing restaurant, delicious and unique food, with super friendly owners. The ham, the croquettes, the sandwich were truly memorable. So happy we ate here!
