The place is nice and everyone is really friendly, but the food is not that good (unless you go for the sapateira). It’s also open in winter while the rest of the places are closed.

Went to the Polvo during the Festival da Sapateira (crab) and it was excellent, from the food to the service. During the Festival it is better to do reservations.

It's just a perfect place to have a nice dinner. The day before we tried the restaurant next to it, a bit fancy. The following day we decided to try o polvo. Service is great, really nice people. We took the dish recommended by the waiter, same for the wine. Waiter offered us a local speciality cake, gorgeous! We paid half of the price of what we paid in the other restaurant and food was just so delicious. So just go there without any doubt and enjoy!

Not to expensive and good ! In septembre there is the crab festival : for 15€ crab as you want and a little bottle of wine ;)

This was our third sapateria for the season. All were very good but this place was the best. Great food and wonderful service. Can't wait to come back and try there dorado.
