If you’re not a local read this: Garlic bread was average. Can’t say it’s authentic since garlic bread isnt an actual Italian dish to begin with, only bruschetta is. - 1 star for the service. Our waitress claimed pecarino was “salami”. We asked for the eggplant to be removed from our pasta - but they weren’t. We asked for garlic to be added to the pizza, but it wasnt. I find it a bit weird that orders are sent via cell phones to the kitchen - I am aware the restaurant faced issues with the internet that day, nonetheless still unprofessional. We’d try draw the server’s attention and she’d literally say “wait give me 5 minutes” and get back on her phone, and once done typing she’d not come back to our table 5 or even 10 minutes later… how unprofessional. Tagliatelle: menu states both truffle and truffle oil as ingredients, therefore we’d expect both. However. The past only had the latter. Why write “truffle” when you can’t add the shavings. Pizzas are average at best. Didn’t find the base sauce too appealing. The restaurant claims it’s a local favourite, but as a tourist I don’t see the hype. Now here’s what’s actually good on the menu - desserts! The dark chocolate mousse is rich and divine. The banoffee is sweet and you can taste banana to an extent, but is not too overpowering which is why I loved it! The pannacotta is great aswell if you enjoy the floral flavours. Lastly, the sangria casavostra is a sangria made with Prosecco and red berries. I usually prefer purely red wine sangrias, but I surprisingly liked this one!

Very nice place. Open friendly atmosphere. Good service. Air conditioning. The pizza is very thin and crispy how I love it. Clams casa nostra are a clear recommendation. Wine is ok. In summer you need reservation.

I'd been recommend this place by three different people. Upon parking I wasn't sure if I was in the correct place, as it was a interiors shop. I couldn't find the restaurant, but upon entering the shop I found the restaurant straight through it. It was a large restaurant filled with lots of natural light. The service was excellent. Whilst they didn't have a kids menu, the have dishes on the menu that could be served as 1/2 portions. Will definitely be back.

Friendly staff, delicious food, great portion sizes and nice atmosphere. Child accommodating and wheelchair accessible including a bathroom. Large menu with options, the mango and goats cheese salad is light with dressing yet filling. The tagliatelle is decadent and melts in your mouth.

I have been to some good restaurants over the years but I have never seen a burger served like this. They served me three mince meat balls covered in a thick gravy with some spaghetti. The gravy tasted bad with the spaghetti tasting awful. My wife had the Prawn Ravioli which wasn't nice.

Extremely disappointing. I have been to Cassavostra once before 2 years ago and had a pleasant experience. I came back and brought my good friends, expecting the same. All three of my courses were less than satisfactory. My starter was missing ingredients that were listed on the menu. My main came sloppily presented into a dish, and my desert arrived half finished. When I complained about my desert to the manager, I got no apology and he pressured me into accepting another desert even though I expressed I did not want it anymore due to all the previous disappointed. He assured this would come at no extra cost - how kind. All of this was made 10x worse by the absolute abysmal service by our waiter, who spoke no more than 10 words to us in total and had a constant frown on his face. Despite that, cocktails were nice and some meals were pleasant. One female waitress was attentive mid meal. However, overall extremely disappointing and rushed meal.

Loved this place. First time tonight. Really enjoyed the hamburger linguine with mushroom porcine sauce. The dark chocolate mouse and tiramisu were really good as well. Service amazing. Highly recommend. A++

Pizza is good, typical, like in all Italian restaurants. Tiramisu was awful- do not recommend, i think they bought it Lidl. The service and atmosphere is great

They delivered the wrong pizza to us tonight (needed dairy and gluten free). The manager personally redelivered the correct one, and couldn't have been more apologetic. The pizzas are seriously good - been going for years. Better than the ones I eat in London!

Wonderful experience, they were fully booked but still managed to accommodate 3 of us! Despite the restaurant being full the food took no time to come out and the service was still brilliant. 100% going back. P.s. Best Pizza in the Algarve

Beautiful setting. Delicious food: appetizers and main courses were very good. The only issue we had was that the service was slow. The waiter never brought the piri piri oil he promised. I had to flag someone down to get the bill. We will be back, though.

The best chocolate mousse I've ever had! Lovely drinks and great selection of vegetarian options.

Impossible not to love this place! It’s “pricier” compared to the local average price but it’s definitely worth it. I’ve dined multiple times, lunch & dinner. I love the atmosphere, the pizzas and pastas are soooo good and I’m a big fan of their sangria. If you want good Italian food, this is the place to go!

Outstanding restaurant. You won't find anywhere better for reasonably priced, quality Italian food. I'd recommend the lasagne and the chocolate mousse for pudding. You will need to book as its very busy!

I always make time to come here when I am in algarve. Some of the best wood fire pizza you can have with a great selection of wine and a relaxing atmosphere. Service is quick but I do recommend booking a table to avoid the long wait on busy days.

Best pizza place in Portugal! Amazing Ventricina Rotoli. If you’re a hot food lover do ask for the Diavola with extra onion and truffle oil. So goooood!

Attentive, friendly service even though they're often really busy. Heated outdoor terrace. Open all day, so a great choice for a late lunch or early dinner. Parking is a bit of a squeeze at busy times. Lasagne or Scaloppine Milanese are my favourites, but the salads are lovely too.

Love this restaurant but very disappointed on Wednesday evening. No pink or flavoured gins! Ordered 2 medium steaks and one was extremely rare and had to go back. Cold roast potatoes had to go back. Desert: no vanilla or chocolate ice cream as sold out. Service mediocre to say the least. It won’t stop me coming back though!

Great food and ambiance.. It’s situated a few kilometers from Faro airport and we found it on our way to Lagos.. Food was tasty and friendly staff..

Finally went to Casavostra for a lunch with a friend, after hearing so many good reviews about this place. Unfortunately it was disappointing experience - a waiter was not listening at all and lasagna was the most salty I have ever had. The only highlights were a great company and a very tasty lemonade.

Asked for Gluten free pizza. Arrived very late, after some people who arrived after us. It had no Mozzarella or tomato on it. It was for my 87 year old Mum. She ends up eating the toppings only! They took the pizza off the bill l, but still can’t say service was the best!

Nice restaurant with good service. The pizza and bruscetta was ok, nothing special, but ok. 6euros for the bruscetta and 14 for the pizza, is a little bit too expensive for my taste.

We came for a meal as we stayed the night next-door at Guest House Almeixar. Surprisingly big place, including outdoor in the back. Nice, thin Italian pizza for us. And a glass red, local wine.

Very large but stylish Italian restaurant, pizzas are delicious. It was packed in a Thursday night so better reserve ahead. Professional friendly staff

Lovely pizza, I would definitely return however I'd like to suggest providing better training to waiters so they can sell the menu properly. Have ordered a cheese board for 7 people and they brought a board with 3 small slices of cheese, 3 squares of hard cheese and 2 slices of ham, 2 slices of bread and 2 bread sticks. If there are 7 people the waiter should advise the size of the portion so we know how many to order to 7 clients. Also instead of asking if anyone wants desert, bring the menu and we can choose if we want rather than choo to see the menu. Thanks

Delicious thin and crispy pizza. Dark chocolate mousse was fantastic 🙂

Interesting place, very summery and trendy. The food is good but doesn't stand out in any way. The staff was very friendly and the food arrived without any inexplicable delay. But, I found all the experience hyped and did not leave with any lasting memory. Expensive, but not Expensive!

What a Gem!! This place is truly one of the best! Food is absolutely outstanding, everything from starters to dessert was fresh and incredibly tasty! Clean, relaxing and the perfect ambience to enjoy a good meal. Staff was very accomodating and so friendly. Casavostra you have gained customers for life! Well done!!
