So on the three occasions I bought fish for my tank, they die within a few days. Shrimp too. It's not my tank as all my older fish were thriving for months. Recently bought 5 rasboras and 3 days later I now have 1 AND all my older fish now have white spot disease. Last time I bought a bunch of cardinal tetras and I now have 1... Don't buy fish here, it's a waste of money. Either bad supplier or bad in-store tank conditions.

Lot to choose from, But!!unfortunately staffs are not so helpful. They love to stand in the front of the shop and chat! we literally had to beg them to come and help us. We didn't know nothing about marine fish and what fish is best to go with what fish ... so literally I left the shop and spent my money over £400 somewhere else. Where they explained everything to use and they were happy to help us. Only 2 star for hr beautiful collection..

Has all your aquarium and pond needs from goldfish all the way to salt water, any equipment you'd ever need, have been previously to add some new additions to our pond and was amazed by the variety they has to offer, so went back to get some aquarium fish aswell also they do a loyalty card aswell.

Not impressed with my visit today. Pot of flake food on shelf for 3.99. I give my wife the correct change and she goes to pay and has to use her card as the product price at the till shows £4.39! Quite expensive overall .

Fish died of white spot after a week, not sure could be my fault!! Good selection of fish, not cheap mind, arsey staff let it down, now and again you find a nice willing to help, advise and chat member of staff, few and far between though. So all good great choice, let down by some staff and price.

Great selection of aquatic life and all the equipment and accessories to go along with them. Kids love to pop I'm just to look at the fish.

I've used maidenhead cardiff for my reef tank over the last 8 years. Going back around 4 months ago I purchased an achilles tang which unfortunately came from supplier carrying velvet. Upon hearing about this Dave (the manager) sourced another and replaced it FOC. For such a rare and expensive fish this was incredible customer service and I cannot thank them enough for the regular updates and tracking down another.

Haven't been to this shop for a long time but made a specific trip there this morning to have a look and possibly buy some malawi cichlids. Really disappointed in general with how the tanks were presented . Lots of dead fish and majority of the tanks just looked dirty with poor water quality. There were some lovely looking cichlids but unfortunately the state of the tanks just didn't do them justice and safe to say I wouldn't be introducing fish from this place into my healthy tank.

Good selection of fish but possibly the worst run shop I've ever visited. Staff standing around chatting whilst you're waiting for assistance. When I did manage to get their attention I wish I hadn't bothered, older guy (sorry too enraged to get him name. ..probably began with a C ) by far the most condescending and patronising individual I'm ever come across. Great store with a huge variety of fish and inverts, especially marine. Always given excellent advice from the extremely knowledgeable store manager, Dave. Not only that, but they have also hosted excellent events in the past, attracting some of the biggest names in the hobby, with talks from the likes of David Saxby and George Farmer. Glad to have this store on our doorstep!

My wife's hobby of tropical fish started with Maidenhead Aquatics. They were very helpful in set up her 'tank', she even sells back young fish, making a little profit.

Great store. A lot of choice, very helpful staff who give a lot of advice and are happy to help. Also makes for a great little walk around with the kids!

Good place to shop for aquarium fish and pond fish. Varieties of decorative items, fish food and water treatment agents. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. I do most of my shopping here.

Great selection my daughter enjoys watching all the fish as she finds it helps to soothe her (she has autism) so we've been visiting a few times while setting up our tank at home for her to decide which fish etc she likes the most. unfortunately on our last visit it was really poor there was water all over the floor much more than usual and there were over 15 dead fish that I had to point out to staff it's nature but to have to point out to staff members that were just leaning on the till area on phones and just chatting to each other wasn't great I'm sure they didn't all die at the 3xact same time. This has obviously caused some anxiety and distress to my daughter and myself. However we have bought from St Mellons and received great care and attention

Loved going here they have some stunning tanks full with large fish, one tropical and another cold water. Its a large shop with everything you need to help you with your hobby!! They had some Stunning fish for sale here too. Well worth a visit. Staff were on hand to help me with my enquiry and were very helpful.

A good selection of cold water, tropical and marine fish. Everything you could need for your aquarium and pond. Prices are high but it's never been a cheap hobby! Any staff I've ever asked for help have been great.

I always love going here. The fish are top quality and it's also like a trip to a sealife centre. Staff are always helpful and have alot of experience to give the best advice. Going back tomorrow for cherry shrimp totally recommend

Amazing selection of cold water, tropical and marine fish as well as ponds, tanks, plants, ornaments and equipment. Couldn't fault the staff either, they were friendly and knowledgeable. They had what I was looking for in stock as well as loads of stuff I didn't even know I wanted.........lol.

My son loved lookinh at the fish in the tanks and this is always the first place we go if we neer any aquatic stuff

I love this place. The staff are really knowledgeable and happy to help, they have everything you could ever need and a great stock of healthy fish of all descriptions. It can sometimes feel expensive but you get what you pay for and here it's quality.

Will not be returning. This is the worst maidenhead I've visited. Many of the fresh water tanks were unwell and dirty. Decent amount of tanks but didn't have much stock (that could have just been bad timing) Poor upkeep and it never looks good when there's a member of staff with a bin bag and a net picking dead fish from all the tanks

Excellent place for all you needs in the tropical fish and cold water fish and accseries with 10 out of 10 staff with load's of knowledge. I would recommend it to anyone from the beginning to the end, And also everyone so friendly.

Nice selection of fish. Shop was bigger than I thought it would be with a decent pond section too. I bought a beautiful pair of apistos I'm hoping they do well 🤞

I always visit this shop for my aquarium needs. They have a wide selection of aquarium products and hundreds of well kept and healthy fish. The staff are always helpful when you need advice on buying fish or problems with the tank. I would highly recommend visiting here if you need fish products. One of the better Maidenhead aquatics I have visited.

I feel for the fish as small tanks for some species but I think they get high turn over so hopefully not too long in them. Lots for children and adults (!) to see and learn. My Dad loved it!

The gigantic koi inside of the store were amazing they did try to eat my fingers though when I was feeding them, great selection of fish I didn’t buy any though. Lots of choice for fish food, tanks and plants that live on water, definitely coming back :3
