This houseboat was ABSOLUTELY GREAT. It felt so homely !!!! There was a large verandah which provided a great view. There was also a music system and a television which we used to the fullest. The crew did a lot of great work. The chef made excellent vegetarian food for us, the sailor took us to the beautiful areas in the backwaters of Allapuzha and their leader guided us well and took care of our needs. There were 2 rooms which were decently sized and had an attached toilet. Their routine was well organized and took care of our needs seen when they prepared breakfast at 3 A.M because we had a flight to catch. Overall, the experience was great, thanks to the kind crew and the comfortable houseboat which gave a homely feeling

Food is okay, staff and service is good. Could have added more AC's considering the humidity and hot during peak summer time. Overall worth taking houseboat for day sailing

Had a splendid day tour. Good houseboat with great staff and delicious food... The bed rooms are air conditioned and well maintained wash rooms too. My nephews enjoyed a lot. Staff was very cooperative. As we had many vegetarians among us, they had made a menu to accommodate all of our interests

Had a pathetic experience here. We went there in April 2023 with 3 families. Food was ok, location was good, but the real problem started with AC. It was all good in the evening when they switched on, but then around 11pm all the 3 rooms AC stopped working. In summer, with kids, it was horrible to stay without any ventilation or AC. We end up sleeping in the corridor with mosquitoes. Never again with these kind of services.

Interior is too old, lizards and rats too . Don’t think so it is fit for 1* . Pros : Staff are very polite Food is very tasty compared to other days we ate in Kerala

There are lots of boats to choose in Alleppey and Kumarakom but, trust me, book this one. My father and I did an overnight trip from Kumarakom. Maneesh, Manikuttan and Abesh were amazing and very accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and helped us organize transport from the departure location. The FOOD was so good and they were attentive to our dietary requests and preferences. We were able to use the fridge to keep our items cold as well. The bedroom was comfortable and we slept well overnight. The trip itself was stunning and our local crew were able to tell us lots about the area. Overall, an unforgettable experience and a MUST DO in this area.

Feels like really the part of God's own country This is really palace on water. The whole experience is unmatchable! We stayed there for 1 day/night last august. They took us around the complete mangrove crossing many beautiful locations. The docking area in the night is super awesome as it seemed like an infinity pool of lotus on one side of the dock. Food too was extremely fresh and tasty. Oveall it was a very heavenly experience :)

We have had a very bad experience with the owner of the boat we booked Pothen Vargese. He was so disrespectful and didn’t know how to treat the customers.I booked it for a single day and he mentioned in that confirmation message that he would be reducing the price rs 2000 of total if we didn’t want to join for lunch. Some how we couldn’t make it for lunch and we are 4 hours late for boarding. So the next day like we discussed earlier i told him i will be paying the rest excluding that 2k as discussed. He started arguing that they added whatever dishes they are supposed to cook for lunch in our dinner menu which we had zero clue about. They didn’t even bother to check with us before doing that. When i raised the point that we dont have any idea about it he started arguing and used some disrespectful words. I was shocked at his behaviour. I stick to my point didn’t want to pay not even a single penny extra. He started arguing with me and also one of my friend as we are wantedly trying to skip the payment which was ridiculous. I have been to many places but never had encountered such an experience. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

Booking done through Goibibo n stayed in Aqua jumbo house boat with two double A/C bed rooms on dates 26-27 Mar 22. I would say it was a very nice and memorable stay for us. We a family consisting of 3 members thoroughly enjoyed the Stay. The Staffs Mr. Maneesh n Mr. Mani made the houseboat as home away from home for us with their fabulous service. Thanks a lot Maneesh n Mani. Special mention to the Reservation Mananager Mr. Vinod too. Keep going Aqua Jumbo team❤️

Loved the experience! Private boat with private paddy field docking point. Fresh catch is a must, and chef Mani is a superstar!! The food is just wow!! From the veg dishes to the karimeen fish fry to butterfly prawns! Rooms are very comfortable, air conditioned, very well precautions for mosquitoes, great music system. The staff is really helpful very knowledgeable about the whereabouts of the backwaters! Trust me and the ratings and reviews this houseboat operator has earned, just book and have a mesmerising experience! Do check the pics

The ride was amazing and the food was delicious. Just the boat house stay was average with basic amenities! But the food was brilliant and the chef adhered to our requests

Was an ok not spectacular experience. Good - unique experience, food. Bad - cleanliness, the crew provides you very little information (we just went for a 2 hr boat ride and were anchored next to paddy fields for the rest of the time).

Overall an okay experience. Forced to eat at the times they've decided for lunch and dinner with no flexibility. The staff sleeps in the hall area and asked us to vacate at 10 pm sharp. Felt like a college hotel experience tbh. On MakeMyTrip this shows under 5 star ratings but expect a 2-star treatment.

Frankly, way too expensive for the service offered. We booked the houseboat for 1 day. You don’t get a real backwater experience. This houseboat cruised on the lake and in large boring rice paddy channels. Also the boat was very old, run down and not very clean. Beds not comfortable. Next day we went on a small boat trip for 10 times less the price and 10x better experience. My recommendation, stay in a nice hotel and book a small boat day trip and you are much better off compared to the overpriced houseboats.

The owner Mr. Vinod was quite nice and took personal care of the services we needed in the Houseboat. The crew Members were also equally nice and we has a family enjoyed the trip overall.

Awesome experience 1 bhk with family to celebrate anniversary they had arranged everything what's needed decorations cake, room was comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Food was amazing. Both veg and non veg. My son enjoyed fishing arranged by the staff.
