I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Thirumandamkunnu temple situated at the river side of Angadippuram. As I approached the temple, I was struck by its serene and peaceful atmosphere. The temple is nestled among tall trees, providing a sense of calm and tranquility. I entered the temple and was greeted by a friendly monk who offered me a tour of the grounds. The temple itself is small, but it is filled with beautiful statues and artwork. The main altar is adorned with intricate carvings and colorful paintings, and the smell of incense filled the air. As I explored the temple, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and reverence. The peaceful surroundings and the peaceful energy of the temple seemed to radiate throughout the entire space. After my tour, I sat by the river for a while and watched the water flow by. The sound of the water and the birds singing in the trees added to the peaceful atmosphere of the temple. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at the temple by the river side. It was a truly peaceful and spiritual place, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to find a sense of calm and tranquility.

Very Popular temple for Mangalaya Pooja. Crowded but very beautiful temple. Very well kept. Parking space is also available nearby. A small Auditorium Hall is also there for arranging small functions. Lots of small shops and restaurants are also there nearby.

It is one of the oldest temples in Kerala.this temple is situated in a place called angadippuram in Malappuram district. There is decent parking space available. But there are quite a lot of steps to clip in order to reach the temple please consider this if you're suffering from any health issues.there is a mind refreshing spot near the temple.

I was visiting this place for the first time. The temple is actually situated on top of a hill, with 3 ways yo get the top. There were rocks carved in the shape of steps with which there were figures of gods, humans etc. I was surprised that not only people but elephants do climb this much steep hill. On the top we will have the temple itself and there were 2 auditoriums, in which they had programs. The best thing to say is the lighting arrangements...It is just mind blowing. When coming down the hill we could see many shops filled with yummy foods and handcrafted materials. It was a great pleasure for me to visit this place again

The temple deity, Thirumandhamkunnil amma, was the paradevatha of the kings of Valluvanad, the local feudal kings ruled the area in the Middle Ages. The Nair warriors (Chavers) of Valluvanad king set out from this temple to Thirunavaya, to participate in the famous Mamankam festival. A memorial structure called the chaver thara can be found in front of the main entrance of the Thirumandhamkunnu Temple. The temple is also an important pilgrim center, especially for the eleven-day-long annual festival celebrated in March and April. The "main deity" of temple is Lord Shiva. But the famous deity is Sree Bhadrakali, locally known as Thirumandhamkunnilamma and Ganesha, for whom the famous marriage oblation (Mangalya Puja) is performed. Devotees believe Mangalya puja will remove obstacles for one's marriage.

Beautiful temple, very popular for Mangalya pooja, which is performed on all Fridays, Sundays and Tuesdays. It will be crowded on these days and holidays. The "principal deity" is Lord Shiva. But the temple is famous for Sree Bhadrakali or Sree Parvathy and Ganesha, for whom Mangalya pooja is performed. We have to climb some steps to reach the temple and it's hill-top location is one of the best features of this place. A visit to this amazing temple is totally worth your time.

If you're simply not with any presumptions, if you can just sit there as just you, as light as you can. You'll definitely feel it. Feel what! See for yourselves. This time it happened without noticing. I just went there to sit near that stream.. but.. it's there.. always..

A very serene pilgrim centre. Very nice nature view. Thirumandamkunnu temple is famous for its service to those who wish to have a suitable life partner. It is believed that those who want to have a married life should come here for three consecutive years on the same day. There is a Pooja for them in the first year. Second year the person who conducted Pooja should come with his wife, if he got married. And in the third year with his family including children.

Very powerful goddess. Those who are facing any issues with getting married are coming here and booking pooja for the same. Says that everything will be OK after that. Very nice ambience. Temple devaswom board have their own restaurant, So the devotees can have their own food and no need to search anywhere. They have an average pay parking space. Small auditorium is there for singing classical songs. At least once in a lifetime, you all have to Visit this temple. Experience the power of goddess.

Temple ambience is awesome. Didn't feel like leaving the temple. But regarding the mangalya Pooja, it does not happen for everyone. I have already done 5 poojas for my daughter's marriage. One more to go. So far nothing positive. I feel marriage can happen only when the proper time comes.

Our visit and the pooja booked for Oct. 2020 was postponed to Oct. 2021 on a request from us (due to travel restrictions and the risk on account of Covid 19). Had a very nice darshan. The officials were responsive and cooperative. A devine feeling when think of the temple...

Divine temple, had Darshan on a normal day and had a memorable experience. It would have been better if the staff were a little more hospitable.. There is a veg canteen near the administration block which served great food.

A beautiful temple efficiently managed by a capable and soft-spoken team. We have been visiting the temple for the past four years. We enjoy the surroundings it is situated in and the pristine beauty of the deities in the temple. My personal favourite is the idol of Lord Ganesha that you get to see through the small window.

Nice, well maintained temple, they have added a big hall to conduct marriage and now building an anna kottal on all sides, work in progress . This temple is known to answer devotees who want to get married by finding a suitable partner ! The Good wishes of the Deity has not only identified your partner within 3 visits/puja and also made the marriages a success !

Temple is on a hill top at Angadipuram. From calicut, catch ksrtc buses to palaghat via perinthalmanna and get down at Angadipuram. From shornur, catch buses to perinthalmanna and from there, catch Autos or buses to Angadipuram. Alternately from shornur, catch Trains to Nilambur and get down at Angadipuram. Bus route is there from Valancheri also. A neat and conveniant hotel stay also available very near to temple, Sreelakam Home. Food is available in Devaswam board canteen, average.
