Best pizza in Savannah! We love the New York style thin crust! You get that “snap” when you fold it. And great, friendly, welcoming staff. Definitely the place to be after “Black Friday” shopping.

My little one wanted spaghetti for dinner and Screamin Mimi's did not disappoint. Pasta was cooked just right, sauce was very good and the meatballs were huge. Have to give kudos to the staff as well, they really made the visit that much better.

Update: Dropping from 5 stars to 4 stars. I went here 3 times and 2 out of 3 were good... but one of the times it was like it was a completely different pizza! So I think it's a hit or miss, but when it HITS, it HITS. Delicious. I love these classic slices. Great prices too. Awesome people.

Quick place to grab a bite of pizza. Hand tossed pizza with thin crust. Marinara sauce, extra cheese, pineapple, mushrooms, Italian sausage, and fresh basil. Quick service, but we would order out next time. They also deliver and take out.

Great service, fun atmosphere and really good pizza. The chopped cheese was a chalkboard item and it was really good also. On the smaller side when it comes to the interior but that doesn't matter on a beautiful day because they have outdoor seating also. Next time I'm in Savannah I will definitely be making a stop for a slice.

Went during lunch time and they had lunch specials. I got two pieces of pizza and a soda combo and my bf got the chicken parmesan sandwich that came with a soda and chips. They also serve pizza by slices or the whole pie. Staff was super friendly and food came out relatively quick. Definitely recommend stopping by.

Yooo this place smells delicious- and the taste backs it up! The pizzas are large and in charge. The inside is cozy with a few tables and lots of pizza accessories (parmesan and crushes red pepper packets, silverware, napkins) are readily available! I love the stickers all over the front of the counter, very friendly vibe.

Is their pizza good? Yes! Is it worth their terrible service and attitude? Nope! The girl who’s often at the register has a snappy attitude. They are also super slow! I came a week earlier to ask about ordering ahead of time for a party. I was told it’s best to arrive right when they open, which I did , and then I was immediately greeted with, “We still have 10minutes” in the most condescending annoyed way. Well…don’t unlock your doors 10minutes early if you don’t want customers coming in! Then I I waited for over 25minutes for a cheese pizza despite being the first one to order and as I watched multiple pizzas including a full cheese pizza given to those who came in after me. I was asked, “if everything was alright” clearly seeing the annoyance on my face. Then the girl at the register said, with major attitude, “Well.. we make them fresh, so it takes long”. BS! I watched many pies go out ahead of mine. So, will I be ordering pizza for my SCAD students again? Absolutely not! Will I recommend my students go there? Absolutely not! And is the $70 I spent on 2 pizzas worth it? Absolutely not!

Best pizza I've had in Savannah so far. It was made fresh, with fresh ingredients, not greesy, the crust was perfectly crisp and not soggy, and overall, very good tasting pizza. The establishment isn't the most spotless or clean feeling, so if you have an aversion to rustic style parlor type atmosphere, I recommend you order take away or delivery. I will definitely eat here again. They also offer a military discount which is a plus!

The pizza was amazing!! The crust had just the right crisp to it. I was a little skeptical when I walked in, but don't let that fool you! Seating was limited inside since the outdoor patio was closed due to rain but we were still able to find a seat. This was some of the best pizza I've ever had.

This New Jersey style pizza joint is great. For me is the perfect place in Savannah is you are looking for a pizza by the slice. Great size, fair prices, and excellent flavor. Personally, I prefer buying by the slice than a whole pie ( by the slice tends to be tastier and crispier) Must order: - white pizza by the slice - cheese pizza by the slice - chopped cheese sandwich

Very cost effective! A whole pizza could easily feed 4 people, which is a great deal in comparison to some of the other restaurants in the area. Service was great, too. The woman at the register was attentive and all of the employees seemed like they knew what they were doing.

The real deal. Moved to Savannah from the tri state area a year ago and struggled to find good pizza. Screaming Mimi's has become a staple in our take out rotation. Legit New York style pizza in the south? I think so!

Had pizza delivered to our hotel. Our super awesome delivery person brought it right to our room! The pizza was hot and delicious. Very good crust- light and crispy. Yummy flavor. They even made us a half pepperoni half white. Definitely a winner. A++

If I could give it six stars I would. The Pizza is is the best I've had since leaving NY 20 years ago. It's sold any way you want it, which these days that's rare, unless you're in NYC. The staff were friendly the place was clean and the Pizza was OUT of this world. When visiting Savannah Georgia you must stop in and have a slice or a pie. They should actually be added to the Savannah tours attractions list that's how good it is.

My favorite pizza in Savannah. As a former New Yorker sometimes you just want a slice of pizza instead of a whole pie… and Mimi’s comes through. Above and beyond with their large, delicious slices.

Went in for lunch. Small local pizza shop with really friendly staff and very excellent pizza! It wasn’t outrageously expensive either. Highly recommended!

No joke. If you're looking for a slice of pizza reminiscent of Jersey, this is it! So many restaurants, pizza places, make the mistake of thinking it is all about the crust. That's part of it, but the sauce and cheese are also a huge part of the pizza equation. Building the perfect Jersey pizza is about how all three of those components interact. Screamin Mimi's nails it. Go here, eat pizza, be happy.

We hadn't been in a while. When I was in the jeep club we used to meet there every Thursday for jeep nite when Big Lou's son Lou was running things we had a great times. I know things have changed. We have been maybe 4 or 5 times in the last 6 yrs. But this time the food was more than great it was outstanding...

I can definitely understand why this restaurant is voted as the best pizza in Savannah! I will return when in the area! We had the Supreme and enjoyed every bite!

  • 4/5 Dirty Souf Y. 1 year ago on Google
Definitely has good crust. But at $4 for a cheese slice and $6 for a veggie slice, you might as well go to NY. LoL

Delicious authentic pizza. Thin yet large slices. I ordered the supreme and it was very enjoyable. I would also highly recommend the cannoli, a little pricey but definitely hits the cravings. Time after time again Mimi's exceeds my expectations!

Mimi's is the kind of pizza joint every decent town needs but few actually have. Real pizza put out by real people with no excuses or apologies. It's no wonder they are as busy as a one-armed paper hanger! If you eat your pizza with a knife and fork, go someplace else. 😁👍🇺🇸

Great lunch spot. Very good pizza. My kids loved it! The guy on our bike tour claims Vinnie Van Go-Gos is better but we couldn’t try it since they didn’t open until 4pm.

From the mid-Atlantic (NJ/PA) where pizza is king. Have to say we came to this spot not expecting much with it being a GA… were we wrong. This had to be the best pizza we have ever had. We got a half white ricotta/basil and a red sauce with pepperoni/green pepper/onion pizza. Fresh, thin with a flaky and light crust that was delicious from point to end. Highly recommend to anyone out whether a local or out of town. Wish I would’ve taken a picture but we couldn’t stop eating it.

Very good pizza and the staff is very friendly. I will have to try the subs next time. The slices are huge.

Delicious pizza! Crust is crispy and the cheese they use is amazing. Love that dogs are allowed on the patio. My husband says the meatball sub is to die for. Service is friendly and fast. Have eaten here several times and it’s always top quality.
