Staff was amazing. Had an issue with my credit card upon check in and they went above and beyond to accommodate me. I was there for an extended stay and they did everything they could to make it pleasant and non stressful. Rooms seemed new or at least updated and had a very modern aesthetic. Bed was not comfortable at all but my experience more than made up for that. Plus pet friendly and my dog felt at home as well.

They took all of my friends things out of this room way before check out his check out was at 11 on Monday he returned from visiting a friend at 5/6 on Sunday and all of this things were missing. They wouldn't help us get his things back or even watch who went into his room. It was a waste on money, time, and trust.if the issue is resolved I will make the score higher until then don't bother wasting your monet.

Stopped by on a late Friday night to get some rest for a road trip and was able to get a two bed room. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The A/C worked great. I have no complaints and l was actually surprised how nice this Motel 6 was.

Me and my wife stay 03-14-22 around 10pm and the attendant told us we don't have any rooms just the suit, after that she said I can give you guys the handicap suite, ok we agree with that, she gave us the 305 room we come to the 3rd floor and noticed the room don't have the remote control for the TV I come to the receptionist and told her and she said I have to found it and let you know, after an hour my wife call her from room and she said iam still waiting some response from maintenence and we stay all night without tv. That's not fair.... we felt discriminated for been treat like that I think because we are Hispanics. And this morning the new receptionist was very kind and we let her know what happen last night and she was surprised and show us the remote controls where there at, right in front desk and she said the girl know where There at, in other words the night attendant refused to give us a remote control that's its not fair, we paid for the room and everything.

Just drove 11 hours and was exhausted. First the room entrance light was out… but ok. It looked alright though the linens looked a little worn but clean. Hopped in the shower and it was dirty, someone’s hair came up from around drain and a dead bug of some sort came from the corner and rinsed down drain. Next, walking across floor looked clean but white socks turned dingy gray with a couple steps. Awoke at 3:30 am with my sinuses acting up and the ac air smelled musky. Guessing the filter has never been changed. Laying here wishing I could have pushed through and made it further down to another place to stay. Horrible, just horrible!

Had a great experience after driving all day and into the night. The woman at the front desk was very kind and helpful, the room was overall comfortable and clean. The floor felt a bit bouncy, but that's not something the staff can fix - that's corporate.

Overall 5 stars for the price. We paid $93 for one night with a kitchenette. The room reminded me of a studio apartment. We were impressed with the size of the refrigerator and that it has a sink and 2 burners to cook. Quite a bit of cabinet space stocked with essentials - plates, bowls, cups, silverware, knives, spatula, cutting board, pots and pans. It's definitely a great place to stay for days or even long term. The building and rooms are modern and you can tell it's newer. The rooms have laminate flooring instead of nasty carpet. The room is spacious. It really does look like the pictures. I do agree with other reviews about the housekeeping. The microwave was a little dirty, the shower floor was dirty, and there was a used can of coke and can of Starbucks drinks in the window. Other than that it was clean and we didn't see any bugs. So we maintain 5 stars because of the price and being a 2 star hotel. My husband checked in and went to a store nearby and said everyone he came across was very nice.

Completely incompetent front desk employees. Unable to charge my credit card because if their system. Apparently this is normal because they have you fill out a form with your credit card information. They charged my card and will not give back the paper. Huge security risk for my card. Do not recommend staying.

You get what you pay for. My family and I stayed two nights at this hotel and there was no dresser to put clothes in. If you like sleeping on futon style beds, you will like it here. The mattress is hard, and the pillows are small. When we walked into the hallway, it smelt like someone was smoking weed. Definitely will not recommend it to anyone I know unless they had no other option.

Pros: Cheap place to stay that is right off the interstate. Beds okay. Queen room is very small but okay for one person. Cons: Room smelt like smoke and dogs. I did not hear dogs bark, but they do bark if you walk by their room (with the door shut). I imagine this would be annoying to stay next to. Very musty even after hours of airing the room out. Room had hair / dirt - wasn’t clean. Front desk staff talked over me while I was trying to check in.

They need to change their name to Motel Sucks! First thing which was the worst part is the beds. I'd say the beds were only good enough for kids to sleep on, but even my kids complained about how uncomfortable they were. The room was smaller than a college dorm room. The TV remote didn't work, the bathroom vent had nasty stains on it, there was no breakfast, only coffee, and even then it was the typical nasty coffee, powered creamer, and sugar that is usually in the rooms. The "closet" was just a small rod behind the obscuring TV mount. The night tables were way too small, the hallways smelled like weed, there was only one small bar of soap in the bathrooms. This place sucked l, the only thing it had going for it was that it looked like the building was fairly new. Also the side door kept being left proped open so anybody could just walk right in. But its not like the staff at the front counter would have questioned anybody that walked in the front door either way. Also some random lady came to our door and knocked on it asking for somebody that wasnt with us. Thought that was kinda weird. 0 out of 10 do not recommend.

It was nice & affordable & I would stay again. Need maybe another 1 or 2 luggage carts. The floor in the room wasn't really clean, you could build up around the boxes under the bed when just looking down at it from the foot of the bed. Lobby where vending machines were was really messy in the morning from people spilling the condiments for coffee. Needed cleaned up as it was all over the counter. Otherwise, it was a very nice for an overnight stay in the area. Thank you. It could use an awning out front doors for unloading & loading.

This seemed like a decent looking hotel and the ratings were around 4 out of 5 stars on here so it seemed like it'd be okay for the price. We get in our beds and notice that they're hard as a rock and the pillows are very stiff. However, they both seemed and smelled clean. The worst part of the experience was the fact someone was out in the hall for nearly 2 hours slamming doors and singing and yelling after midnight and we just couldn't get to sleep for the longest time. Nobody told this person to be quiet or tried to help the situation at all, despite the lobby sign saying that quiet times were at 10pm. We won't be returning.

Service was great both check in and check out. Nicely renovated. Some stains on wall near toilet. Beds firm - everyone's got their preference. Rooms were spacious and bathroom huge. Biggest complaint is room smelled like someone who had stayed there a bit to long or wasn't clean. Needed aired out and some freshener.

I ask the manager the next day about cleaning my room? He told me that the rooms will not get clean or refreshed towels until we leave. I had to go and get fresh towels and sheet's every morning. I stayed just to see if he was right and he was. Don't do what I did and dare them. They do not deserve a star.

They need to be better about cleaning the rooms. Found hair and skin particles on headboard and behind the mattress. They need new pillows. They also had a party going on on the 3rd floor with loud music and people coming to it who were not staying at the motel. We had to change rooms because of that. The receptionist at checkin / out was very rude. There was no coffee available.

Being a budget motel, it was nothing fancy but very adequate, as expected. Stepping into the room the first thing that caught my eye was that there were no bedspreads on the beds as shown in the photos on their website. Everything seemed very clean until I stepped into the shower and saw how very dirty and nasty the shower curtain was. Other than that it was a good stay.

This is not like all other motel 6's. I had vowed to never stayed another one again but since the reviews were so great and the price was excellent we stayed there. And it was awesome.

The pictures on the internet do not match. Got here expecting a nice large room. I came into a very small room with no microwave, and no mini coffee maker. I'm just shocked on how different the pics are from real life. Wow

The room was basic but clean and I liked the hard floors since we had our dogs along. No extra charge for them:)!

Terrible place! I should have known when my vehicle was the only one there. Room dirty, phone looked like it had not been cleaned for a decade. Problems with the TV. Worst of all I found a bed bug. I asked the clerk about it and she admitted they had bedbugs about 9 months ago. Got a full refund and went to another hotel.

I've stayed here more times than I can count. My rooms have always been clean, ALL staff have been kind, amazing, and helpful. I've had one little bauble with 1 particular stay, but staff was quick to apologize and make it right. Another big positive for me is if you download a travel or hotel app, the price is well in my budget and because of that, I usually extend my stay just because...Love it here, I will not stay ever stay at any other hotel when in need while in PB. Keep up the great work guys!!! Much love and God Bless!

When I booked this in February for this trip I was told it had a pool and breakfast it had neither! So upon check-in the guy states "You're the 5th person today asking about the pool that booking site is wrong" I'm like well you guys had to give them a description better get it changed before you get bad reviews! So that part sucked, the people standing outside at all hours looking for dope or companions are shady too. Clean room though lol refrigerator for your beer no microwave and no coffee maker or hairdryer..site stated that too. They do allow pets.

Might have just been an off night but desk staff seemed a little disrespectful and rude. The noisy dog in the next room was a bummer too. Other than that it was a pleasant stay and a good nights sleep. Loved the cold Air Conditioning and hardwood style floors.

It was fairly clean, easy to find. Destiny at the front desk was amazing after the room we were initially given smelled horribly of smoke. Bed was comfy but the walls were pretty thin, could hear a lot of traffic inside and out.

It was clean. Although I suggest bringing some blankets if you’re cold when you sleep like I am and the pillows aren’t the greatest. BUT the staff was so nice and our room was clean and everyone staying there cooperated with the quiet time from 10pm-7am so that was really nice. They have hella vending machines in the lobby, hot coffee in the morning and a gazebo out back. They are 36 minutes from the landing at current river where we were headed.

Our room had 2 queen beds and a kitchenette. It was clean, new, and bright, and beds were comfy. Towels could have been a little larger/softer and a few extra items in the kitchen would have been nice (we only had a single knife and fork and a couple of plates, but no pans, bowls or spoons). Maybe they had extras at the front desk but we made do. The large fridge was nice!

This is a great Motel 6! Our check in was easy and quick. It has a newer feel, the outside is clean with easy and roomy parking(truck parking included). The inside is simple and clean with vending machines off the lobby. The room was very clean and beds comfortable. The only negative about this hotel is it has thin walls which made for a not so quiet morning when people started getting up to leave. We would stay here again.

Everything was so nice. The staff was so nice and really helpful and house keeping was spot on I will definitely be coming back to motel 6 best place for a quiet place to stay and relax and enjoy rest.

Cost too much $71.81 compared to other Motel 6`s. The previous day I stayed at Motel 6 Arkadelphia, AK and payed $49.67, today at the Motel 6 in Troy, Il I payed $67.39 with refrigerator and microwave. All three were very similar. The Poplar Bluff staff were friendly and professional especially the cleaning lady: she was very polite!

The best place to stay. Best price, workers are so friendly yet helpful. Very very clean motel. Pet friendly and staff also tries to make you the happiest guest ever.

This motel was suggested by family when we came through the area about a week ago. The first impression was that it looked clean and fairly new. The space was designed to optimize the room despite it being smaller. We did have an issue with the TV remote not having batteries but the young lady at the front desk was quick to replace it. It wasn’t until we got ready for bed that I saw the downside. There was food in the air conditioner and fabric softener sheets hanging from the bathroom vent. When my husband spoke to the guy at the front desk about it the next morning he was told that housekeeping must have missed that. If they missed that, what else might they missed? I understand that things happen but that was just a little too much for me. I don’t believe I will be staying there again in the future.

I've stayed in many motels around the world during my commercial travels and found this to be one of the nicest economy motels I have stayed in. The room was spotless and the staff very friendly and helpful. There wasn't a lot of amenities but when you're traveling, the most important thing is a nice clean room. Value pricing is also very welcome. If you're passing through Poplar Bluff, I would recommend this motel.
