Embark on one of Meghalaya's most thrilling treks, an adventure that promises an adrenaline rush and breathtaking scenery. The bamboo trek stands out as an exhilarating experience, with roughly 50% of the trail comprised of intricate bamboo bridges. Delve into the heart of this captivating journey, encountering two natural pools along the way where you can indulge in a unique natural fish spa. The trek spans approximately 4 hours round trip, leading to a final point that may lack panoramic views but offers an intriguing peak experience. Worry not about carrying provisions, as there are conveniently located shops en route where you can procure essentials. The entrance fee is a modest 100 rupees, granting you access to this enthralling trek. If you decide to take a refreshing dip in the pools, additional charges apply, ensuring a memorable and rejuvenating adventure in this awe-inspiring locale.

Bamboo trek which starts from Wankhen village is really an unique experience. You will come across narrow rock passages to bamboo bridges and everything in between. After the viewpoint, there is one more peak which is the most interesting part. The slope gets so steep that you are almost climbing vertically and there is literally nothing on one of the sides. In short, it's an experience of a lifetime.

Amazing experience. The trail is beautifully made using bamboo structures till the endpoint and it has a great view. There is a natural swimming pool in the middle of the trek which is just great.

Its a must visit in meghalaya .. atleast go till the waterfall and swim there. Trek ahead of the waterfall is very risky and you can easily get a heart attack seeing the valley below the bamboo u're stepping on. Till the waterfall its easy and you'll get the essence of the whole trek. Ahead of that is only for serious adventure lovers. The trek is easy but dangerous and adventerous.

It's a thrilling experience that one must not miss!! One will feel on top of the world. Better to start the trek by 11am. Depending upon the fitness levels, it'll take 4-6 hrs to complete the trek (to and fro) .. There is a pond on the way where you can swim for a nominal amount of ₹40.. Life jackets are also available for ₹50 only.

One of the best trek in Meghalaya. Entry ticket for adult is 100 INR. Some mini shops are there in the middle of trek. So, you don't need to carry anything with you. Try to start your trek early in the morning, check the weather condition before coming.

Experience of a lifetime. Kudos to the locals who have made and maintained the trail. Very unique and picturesque. Thrill and adrenaline was off the roof. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to feel alive.
