New in Port Alfred and went to Graze for lunch last week. A unique and excellent dining experience. Food was 5 star quality. Will definitely be back

Incredible food. Fresh, flavourful ingredients, carefully crafted recipes and personable owners make a meal at Graze a most enjoyable experience.

Whenever I am in Port Alfred, I make a point of eating at this hidden gem! My favourite restaurant in the Eastern Cape. Nick, chef and owner is a natural with flavours, always delivering beautiful plates of food with the freshest ingredients and bags of flavour. Can’t wait to return!

Wonderful place, ambience, vibe, food and people. Harmony and balance in the dishes. Been for both lunch and dinner. Strong recommend.

Tryed Graze by the River for the first time, chose the Asian Tuna dish and all I can say is WOW, explosions in your mouth, literally one of the best meals iv ever had, service was excellent and the place has such a warm comfy feeling to it.. 5/5 stars, well done guys

The gift shop in the front has something for everyone. The restaurant servies and the atmosphere is really nice The fish is locally cough. It's pet friendly as long as the 2 Labradors approves it. The food was also really fast and fresh prepared. I has a nice in door and outdoor seating area. The bathrooms is also very clean and fresh.

When visiting Port Alfred, if you love freshly made food with locally sourced ingredients then graze by the river is a must. Nick the owner was an amazing host helping us with our food and making sure we were enjoying ourself. I went 2 times for the monthly wine tasting, which was an incredible experience where he invited experts from the industry whom explained everything about the wines we were tasting. Definitely would recommend!!

Just LOVE this place! The food is AMAZING!! Soooo different to ANYwhere else! I HIGHLY recommend!

Really enjoyed visiting Graze by the River. Chef introduced his interesting menu with such flair, made our mouths water. We ordered smoked snoek pate, asparagus salad, smoked calamari, cob and mussles. Happy to finish off with best chocolate cake.

Food was absolutely delicious. There were 12 of us. We all shared a couple of starters first (goats cheese and pecan salad, calamari salad, smoked snoek pate). All were great. I had the seafood massaman curry, which was very flavourful, the chicken panang was also very good, as was the line fish

Unassuming from the outside but what a little gem in the heart of PA. Owner/chef Nick is a warm and wonderful host and his food and knowledge is top notch.

Stopped in for lunch, and what a gem!! The service was absolutely wonderful, and the food was out of this world good, both in taste and presentation! My wife and I botg had the Asparagus salad and the line fish (cob) and were not dissapointed. A must try while vacationing in the Port Alfred area.

Graze by the River is an outstanding restaurant in Port Alfred, Eastern Cape. The food is of superior quality, super flavourful and unique menu items and generous on the portion size - a phenomenal setting where the owner Nick and his wonderful staff makes you feel at home from the onset ! Just amazing and a must try !

Great hospitality and food but not cheap. One of not many open until late during winter in Port Alfred. Lots of beautiful gifts to buy in the front shop.

Brilliant food. Unlike anything I've tasted before. Such a bonus getting organic and free range food with gluten free options. I felt spoilt for choice. The passion that goes into the food is almost tangible. The chicken curry was delicious, so was the fish dish. We shared the fig and blue cheese salad as a starter - absolutely DIVINE. Will come here again.

Petfriendly and most amazing fresh seafood. Fresh Cob in a creamy herb light sauce on sweet potato and pumpkin mash and a starter of fresh Mussels in creamy sauce (very large portions). Great ambiance and Petfriendly setting. Good winelist. Thanks Nick, we will be back. Their full English breakfast and Scones & Homemade Jam are also amazing!!!

Our meal was out of this world. It's the first time that I've dined out that the food met my every expectation. Their focus was on happy and satisfied customers and they don't concentrate on the number of feet walking in the generate business. They strive to meet their and customer expectations when preparing the meals. Passionate....

The seafood we had here was so fresh and well prepared. The chef gave us such awesome info on the specials, his passion for his food was clear. It was great sitting in the outside section at the back.
