Food was not bad. Great deck on the river.

An All Time Favourite place for us. Loadshedding or not...always willing to tweak the menu for my Picky Family. Thank you Guiddos . Was n lovely birthday lunch.

Had a few milkshakes with the family. Was very quite and the service was average. The beach was fairly busy and enjoyable seeing the people and surfing.

We just love going there! Awesome place. The mere fact that they cater for pensioners says a lot for their humanity! Thank you Guido family for showing us there are still good people in the food and beverage business. God Bless!

Pizzas were great ! We ordered for takeaway and they were done within 15 min straight out the oven. They were tasty and full of filling. Lovely location and kid friendly too.

I loved this place. The view is gorgeous, staff are friendly, prices are really decent and the atmosphere is relaxing. Definitely somewhere I'd like to go again.

The patio has great views, and the staff is friendly. We had the mussel pot and prawns starters, both of which were delicious.

Nice situation but the seafood pasta was way too big and the seafood was straight out of the freezer. They're not serving fresh fish. During load-shedding they aren't serving anything fried (fish, steak, burgers, calamari, etc), most of the menu.

Restaurant being upgraded. On the food side, steak was good, ribs great,hake was good,Pizza burned to crisps not great at all

We had Irish coffees, which were a bit mediocre, but still fine. The crumbed calamari was great. Service was a little slow, but very friendly and kind. Plus the view was amazing. I would go back.

We come here every time we are in Port Alfred. Its right on the beach and it is beautiful. The food is good too. Not a 5 star restaurant by any means, but good home cooking. We will be back.

Absolutely awesome service. The vegetarian pizza Something Different is amazing.

One can no longer call it Guido's. The blue paint.... makes it feel so cold. Floors are sticky. They no longer have draft beers on tap. Was told they don't work. Upstairs looks like a store room with all the broken tables and chairs stacked on top of each other. Service is a joke... you get seated and never get help again. Ordered our drinks and had to go look for them. I Ordered a guido's special, the meat toppings, sour and was told that the ham was salami when I said to them it did not have salami on it. This was a really nice place back in the day but it's time they close the doors... especially for the people that are braaing along the river and come in and use the restaurant as a public toilet....

Very pleasant. Service a little slow and normal having to chase for the bill at conclusion of meal. But major improvement on previous experiences of dining there. Much cleaner and enjoyable.

The food was fine. We had pizzas and pasta. No issues with the pizza, but the pasta was bland. The service was also very slow. They say they don't like to rush meals, but it was a bit extreme. There was also issues with the basics. Food arrived 10 minutes appart. Our salt tin was empty. I know this sounds petty, but if you just waited this long for food and watched others at your table eat for 10 minutes, you just want to eat your food without issues.

Good food but poor service. I had to call the restaurant while in the restaurant to try and get service. If you are not in a rush, it is a good place to visit.

Love it there when I'm in Port Alfred. Service is excellent food is top notch the pizza there is excellent and all the other food we've had in our time there

Located in close proximity to the beach provides great views of the beach. Friendly staff and good food at reasonable prices, will visit again when in the area.

Great restaurant, great vibe. It's a small town pub. Tasty food, we enjoyed ourselves. Especially loved the sea food platter.

Beautiful place with beautiful views. Out amd indoor sitting available. I enjoyed their food and our waitresses was amazing. I would most definitely recommend this place. Their cocktails and MOJO jars are also amazing. It's right by the beach so perfect for a day you want to chill by the beach too. Lots of parking space.

Such a lovely location and setting. They really have to look at there service to there clients, very sloppy and extremely slow. Maybe I caught them at a wrong time on a public holiday but being a well known establishment they really need to train the management/staff better to handle these circumstances. I hope they take this as constructive criticism and try to improve on there shortcomings.
