My Dad had a stroke almost 2 years ago and is wheelchair bound. He hasn't been to a park nor seen our countries beautiful wildlife since that day. It was so great to share an old past time, going on a game drive again. We took the very easy round route which had a loop that allowed a stunning view over the valley and meandering river below as we stopped to have a snack. We were even greeted by two beautiful giraffe crossing our path which my Dad loved. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to have done this with my Dad. Roundtrip from home through park and back home took 2 hours, which was just enough of an outing for my Dad. Thank you so much Mansfield Reserve, Thank you Francina.

Lovely place. Right by the river. Lots of braai (barbecue) facilities available. Has a play area with a slide, swings and a jungle gym. There is a trampoline and a swimming pool, but you can also swim in the river. Bathrooms are clean. You can get there by driving or on boat. Great place to be on a hot summers day.

Was a really great adventure. Muddy roads. Puncture to fix and add to challenge. Bachelor party in platform next door. Someone snored so loudly I could hear them more than 50 metres from platform. Next time my wife wants us too book the Lodge for a little less rough camping.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Rustic and cozy to suit our taste with a fantastic view from eagles nest. A lot to see on the game drive with a highlight of meeting Gambit. We wish we could have arranged to stay longer.

Very nice place but brace yourself. Not for sissies especially if you are spending the night out there alone with lots of bugs. But a very adventurous campsite.

Enjoyed our stay, with plenty of fresh air, fishing, hiking and relaxing done during our three day stay. Clean reserve and wonderful staff!

Camping facilities not great. Specifically the ablution facilities. Walls of showers and toilets are made of netting, that is see through and provides no privacy. This spoiled our camping experience for me. Nice play area for kids. Not much protection from wind in camping area, so tents don't do well.

Perfect place to go when you want to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. Great camping site. Very safe, with friendly people.

About 3km of corrugated dirt road up to entrance of Game Reserve, but absolutely worth it. Camping area suitable for off-road caravans, trailors and tents due to dirt road from tar road to entrance of Game Reserve. Unmarked caravan sites and hot water showers as well as flush toilets. No electricity. Beautiful recreation area on Kowie river Day visitors welcome Hiking trail approximately 7km long
